I came here with my sister after a girls trip at one of the nearby resorts. I wish I stayed here the whole time! It’s hippie chic and quite exclusive. We were greeted warmly by staff and had a little tour. We had a garden view room and it was beautiful! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel boasts that they are eco friendly which I love! The AC goes on 7pm-10am, I believe. But you can request to have it on whenever needed. The restaurant staff greeted us upon arrival and gave offered food and drinks. The food is good and decent priced. I love the exclusiveness of this places. & they’re walkable distance to plenty of restaurants/bars as well as boutiques to shop at. Only con is seaweed at the beach. It’s occurring all throughout riviera maya so it didn’t bother us much; they have staff working hard to clean off the seaweed. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!
We stayed in a garden apartment and were disappointed to find it didn’t have a balcony on arrival (we had just assumed it would given the price of the room). During our stay our room was flooded due to the rain and water was dripping through the light fixture in our shower. The hotel didn’t let us know when they had fixed the shower and their solution to the flooding was to put a towel down on the floor which was disappointing to say the least. Despite this the beach was lovely and the service in the beach bar and restaurant was exceptional. We also enjoyed the food for breakfast and lunch however we would have loved a drinks menu and our beers were often warm. Other good points included the comfortable bed and giant beach towels we were provided with. Overall a disappointing stay and we’d recommend avoiding the garden apartment.
