Such a great place, food was amazing and the people are kind and welcoming will definitely go back. The indoor pool is so cute, our room was cozy. On a busy road so alot of car traffic but who cares it was a great time.

We stopped to eat while biking back from the cenotes. Service and food were great. We tried the guac, fried fish and ceviche. Not my favorite ceviche but the fried fish was really good!

This very nice place especially in the evening because it is lit up and the rooms are perfect for a family between 4 and 8 people.

Clean rooms, well decorated. Next to a loud road (semi tricks constantly) and dogs will bark constantly outside. Grass roof means you can hear everything outside.

Its a really hotel, right in the heart of Tulum, with extraordinary food and also excellent service.

The location of this hotel & restaurant is convenient, just one block off the busy strip and across from the grocery store. It was a longer walk to the beach than advertised so I highly recommend renting a bike or hailing a cab. Breakfast was great!

This is a well-run, modest, clean and reasonably-priced small hotel not far from the main street of Tulum. My wife and I had a very pleasant stay here overall. Though one needs a taxi to get to the beach, its only about a ten to fifteen minute walk into the heart of the town. You might find automobile and truck noise an issue at night, and the view is nothing to write home about, but the hotel staff is friendly, attentive and when one night there was some noise from a group of teens an apology and one-night refund followed, and the offending party asked to leave.

Tried the Restaurant only. Very clean washrooms. Great service, friendly and spoke English. Great food! We had Coconut Shrimp and Fish tampura Tacos. Would want to spend the night here, beautiful spiral staircase with a water fountain!

Great staff, light, airy, modern vibe, nice rooms, good Wi-Fi and free parking and bicycles. The free parking is right outside the lobby, so it's super easy checking in. The main courtyard gives out a chilled and relaxed vibe. Everything is clean and tastefully modern, and the staff very happy and buoyant. Wi-Fi is good, and breakfast is served with care. There are bicycles available free of charge, and the staff are more than happy to get them ready with a free padlock. I wouldn't say this was a luxury hotel, but the room was spacious and well equipped. I had a car, so location wasn't an issue for me, but if you are a foot soldier then it may be a slight issue walking into the main part of the town in the heat of the day — it's not far at all, it's just doing it in the heat might not be for some. You'll have to call reception for a cab as I didn't see any waiting on a prayer. I liked the decor of the bar restaurant, and it had obviously had some care and design, but it's not ideal for small kids as there is near and easy access through the small car park onto the main road outside. I wasn't totally sold on the location with respect to the main bar and restaurant strip, given the price of the rooms. Tip: Ground floor rooms are good.

We loved it! Excellent place to rest, excellent restaurant, excellent service. Just three minutes from the Gran Cenote, a spectacular place. As part of their service they provide bicycles for free, which is great. Nice and clean rooms, comfortable beds, rich. We liked it so much, that we will return the next week. Thank you for making us feel at home!

This restaurant has a great food for very reasonable prices as well as friendly and caring personal. Seafood is a pick of choice. As this place lies off the main tourist zone it is usually quiet and not overcrowded.

I stayed here 3 nights. The atmosphere was so quiet and serene. We were welcomed by friendly staff who guided us to our rooms and assisted with our bags. We got a tour of our room and were also given welcome gifts of 2 drinks at the restaurant and a mexican woven straw bag, which was lovely. Water is provided in the rooms, along with organic mosquito repellent, body wash, shampoo and conditioner (which I wasn't expecting as we didn't pay much for the rooms). The rooms were clean and it was fun to be sleeping under a straw thatched roof. The restaurant provided fresh dishes, so dont expect the food to come right away. The seafood was amazing, and I definitely recommend the coconut and pineapple shrimps and the shrimp tacos! The tikin xic was full of flavour. I dont think I disliked anything. The BEST thing was their guacomole and the freshly made totapos! I still crave them! I had a wonderful time here, and definitely recommend this place to all looking for an authentic tulum stay.

If your idea is to relax this is the place… no noise. No phone or television… the food is delicious I recommend the fish with achiote and lobster…

Mexican seafood dishes in its restaurant are spectacular. Service is superb and the beach is like a pool. Kids do not need a pool when the sea itself is so calm and virgin… Very near to Sian Ka'an Natural Reserve and to other Boca Paila's yoga, spa and restaurants…

Quiet romantic discovery for us Great restaurant and great value Nothing could be better for the basic paradise experience Beach is twenty steps and restaurant is ten steps from our cabana.

Mestizo has an awesome location. Their beach cabanas were set on a quieter side of the beach and surrounded by a ton of great restaurants. I do overall recommend staying at a hotel nearer the hotel zone center since there are a tad more bar/late night options.
