A great hotel next to the sea ferry. Beautiful view of the sea, port and city.

Nice Hotel right around the ferry terminal. Not THAT near though. The streets are quiet at night and the pool is on the 4th floor with a stunning view. There is a rooftop bar as well as a really good scuba centre right next to the hotel (extra divers). Staff is nice and service as expected.

This is a really nice hotel overlooking the harbour which has all the facilities of a top class hotel. I received a very warm welcome upon my arrival and although I was too early to check into my room I was able to use all the facilities. My room was fabulous as was the bed and the view over the harbour. The mini bar was well stocked. I must say I was very impressed. I ate at the rooftop restaurant and on my visit there was a fabulous buffet. The staff there were all brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be sure to book it again myself in the future.

Stayed at this hotel for first two weeks of June, enjoyed every minute. Room 755 has a perfect seaview overlooking the harbour. Breakfast every morning was a joy nothing was to much bother for the staff. You would have to look hard to find fault with bar/breakfast staff, reception and housekeeping staff they were all very professional. Hotel is ideally located, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, excellent. We will definitely return.

Great hotel. Probably one of the best on Gozo. Stayed 9-16/5/18. Try and get a room above the 4th floor. Views of harbour are great. Rooms good size, all amenities you need. Indoor and outdoor pool. Outdoor pool sun lounges bit cramped. We stayed b&b, breakfast good and plenty of choice. If u have a car the entrance to the underground car Park is something! Right on the route of the green island tour bus. N Well within walking distance of the harbour for drinks and eats. Try Eugines for a bit upper market without the price.

Good hotel, efficient service. Pleasant terrace at front with fine views across to Comino and Malta. Good food.

I went to this hotel for breakfast on Sunday. It was very reasonably priced. The food was abundant and delicious.

Just had another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. The added indoor heated swimming pool is a brilliant addition. Enjoyed the cinema as well! Cannot fault the restaurant whatsoever. The meals were delicious and full marks for presentation. All staff, restaurant in particular are first class. Will look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great view over harbour. Lots to see… ferries every half hour create ferment of activity. Short walk down to Gleneagles Bar, or up to Ta'Philip restaurant. Both marvellous.

Hotel in a scenic location. Spacious and stylish rooms, many with large terrace with sea view.

Cosy bar. Pleasant restaurant with a good value set menu. Nice views across the harbour and to Malta from the terrace. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Good the potion, but not at all worth the 4 stars he says he has. Little International Breakfast. No fresh fruit, but rather frozen! We asked for soy milk and we was bringing boiling and in a broken and rusty saucepan. The room offers a rich kit, too bad we found all the empty boxes! We asked the receptionist how to get to Comino Island, but could not help in any way except tell us we had to come in summer to be able to go! And then go to the port and find the solution in less than 5 minutes. We wanted to relax in the SPA but the girl was alone and could not offer any service. I understand the period of low season, but on the site was not reported any reduction of services. Very poor maintenance. We spent a lot, just to have a nice room! The only consolation is that the island of Gozo really deserves to be visited!

Lovely room very comfortable bed. Bathroom large could do with a little tlc water pressure not great. View from balcony amazing. The staff at The Grand are all very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. Food good and portions very large at times too large. Would definitely return.

Tired out dated, needs modernisation. Our bed we could feel the springs, gave us a mattress topper which did very little. No tea or coffee making facilities in our room, apparently there is in some, said they would organise it, did not. Room decor old cracked tiles in bathroom. Shower useless hot and cold, can't get an even temperature. Mirrors have gone dull with age. Generally not up to 4* standard. On plus side staff are friendly.

Reason for 3 Stars, our room 607, smelt awful, trace some of the smell to a filthily toilet brush, my wife requested a can of air spray which was supplied, the Manager, Renato Rapa replace the toilet brush, the shower did not spray correctly & would not stay in position on the riser rail, their is a lot of rust from leaking waste pipes under the basins, the view from this room is not good, looking into back streets, we asked if it was possible to change rooms, the reply was maybe, I will see you the next day & let you know, he never got back to us, we were with our daughter & husband so wanted rooms next to each other so decided to stay put, during our stay it was my daughters birthday, asked if a small cake could be provided, reply no, when shown to our table that evening for her birthday meal there was a bottle of wine on the table, before we could say thanks, the events Manager, believe his name is Aurelio, remove the wine & replied this is not for you, its just to show the table off, with people on the next table we felt humiliated, we found that the senior management at this hotel very rude & arrogant, now the positives, the food is possibly the best you will find in this Hotel price range, location is good, bus stops outside hotel door, short walk down hill to ferry port, restaurants& small super market, this island is a great short break holiday destination, this Hotel is not very welcoming.

The hotel is partly very outdated, the inventory not well maintained, repaired or mended. Only the view is enthusiastic and is not to be topped.

Great service, fantastic breakfast, nice bar with inside and outside seating, TVs to show the football, beautiful view of the harbour. The only downsides were no bar at the pool, although you could ring down and place an order, a tiny balcony, and it was very noisy in the mornings. Maybe we were just unfortunate with our room but we were always woken by a delivery, bins being collected, or drilling. I'm not sure how much it would cost to upgrade the room to one with a sea view and bigger balcony but I'd recommend looking into it.

Four stars as there is no child food like fried pizza… noisy hallway. Nice staff.

Went to grand hotel for our honeymoon in August, our flight and ferry were really late so by the time we got to our hotel it was nearly 4am. Reception staff were really nice and didnt even make us check in that night just sent us to room and said we can do the check in process in the morning. When we got to out room they had given us a free upgrade to junior suit, the room was beautiful and big with sea views. Food in the hotel was also nice specially when you go for dinner on their rooftop restaurant in the evening you can see all the lights as far as Malta itself. All in all the staff and hotel was fab would defiantly go there again.

Very nice welcome. It's old-fashioned, but it can be charming. Attention No Parking.

I have just returned from staying at this hotel for 4 days (May 2017). This hotel offers a parking facility which is helpful given the area of the hotel (on a very steep hill with no street parking) and at no extra fee. Do not however rent/park a large car down here as it is VERY small and only has limited spaces. Our room was very, very dated and very simplistic. The staff are sweet but not particularly helpful with tips and tourism — do not ask their opinion on places to eat as they "cannot comment" however there are some local restaurants 'Ta Tona' which is lovely in the marina. The food at this hotel is AWFUL. The breakfast is minimal, watery and nothing I would be proud to serve if this was my hotel. The general/average age of the guests at this hotel are also 50+, I would probably avoid staying here again as we are in our 20s! The room facilities are very limited and very often no top-ups each evening on room amenities IE: Shower gel, towels etc. There is only one iron in the entire hotel, so make sure you book a slot in (in advance) to use it if you need something like this. This hotel served a purpose as we were attending a wedding near by, but I would not recommend to stay here on holiday.

This hotel had to be a înstitution in the years 80 but since nothing has changed a huge potential but very ageing. Damage.

Fabulous place to stay. Great surroundings and location.

Stayed from 8/7/16 to 8/11/16. Room was large and clean. Great water view. Staff was very friendly and professional. Would stay there again.

The room is of a very good standard. The sea-ferry view is fantastic. The pool is of a decent size. A mini bar is missing though found it a bit annoying to call through phone for service. The breakfast fas okay but found it overall of a poor an cheap quality for a 4* (jam very poor quality, croissant white and chewy, no chocolate spread. ).

Its really good and peaceful ill never stop coming.
