Review of Swiss-Garden Beach Resort, Kuantan 4*

Begin from the check in. It was suppose to be at 3PM. When we reached at 3.40PM, it still was not ready. We wanted a connecting room but at last have to settle for ANY room available to speed up the check in process. My key card had trouble opening the door that made me had to walk up and down to the lobby to get it fixed. The room airconds are very warm throughout the night. The bathroom shower tub takes a long time to dissolve water during shower. I have to shower a little, turned it off, wait for water to subside before I can continue. It took me twice as long to shower. The fridge in my new room was making sound — — I had to turn it off. The Wi-Fi NEVER seem to get connected. The had bicycles parked outside almost made us excited to rent. However was told the brakes aren't really 'functioning' but still CAN be rented. We walked over, the chains were orange rusty! So bike 'at your own risk'. I don't think it is possible when you see how rusty the chains are. The good part — — breakfast view, breakfast variety and taste is good. However, slow to clean up. TV channels were many to chose from. Swimming pool was nice, however tiles in them were yet to maintain. Cushion seats by the pool are washed everyday — — pretty impressive. There was a very nice guard offered to look after my belongings & took it closer to the hotel & to him because we were playing far out the beach & no one was to look after our belongings. Most of the staffs there were pretty good at their service. They greet you and talk to you politely and very friendly. Beach was clean and windy. Lobby was spacious and clean — — serving orange juice cocktail kind. Lift one one side of the building was broken — — so we only could use one. My family also got bitten by a weird bug, however not sure if it was from the bed, hotel room or the beach. It left a terrible RED marks because it was so itchy with yellowish liquid discharge. And we have it all over our body! I had almost 20 bites that I could count! If only I could attach a photo! Overall, first impression was good. I wish all the above could be rectified. But worst was my bug bites. I'm still itching as I write this.
