Came here for a company team building. The room had lots of space and the bathroom was pretty big too. It's also pretty near jonker street so it's convenient. Infinity pool is also nice. The only annoying thing is the lift takes forever because there are a total of 41 floors and only 3 lifts.

Great experience. Place is very spacious and clean. There is a security guard looking after the motorcycle parking lot as well. It is just behind the mall too. 7-eleven nearby. Night food nearby.

Premier rooms are nice and spacious. Would be better if they provide furniture on the balcony though. 2 chairs and a small table would suffice for us to enjoy the view outside :)

First Time in Shore Hotel and Excellent Facilities. Good nice cozy place. Rooms are brand new, toilet fittings are good brand. Coffee house are busy and full, beatiful decoration in coffee house. Superb pool and great gym design, gym is above swimming pool and there are infinity pools as well. Weak points: — only 4 lifts serve a tall 42 floors, can be buzy at times.

Nice pool area for kids and good size rooms. If staying in apartments there is no Wi-Fi even thou they stated Wi-Fi, which was only in lobby. Also the washing machine was broken.

Nice clean place. We had a pleasant stay for one night. Would recommend it to anyone.

Cockroaches in the room. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Cockroaches in the restaurant. Good location.

Stayed at the apartment for my business trip. The apartment was spacious and amenities were provided. Only 2 lifts serving the tower I was living in and the wait could be pretty long at times.

Good place to stay. The pool a big enough, and kids will love their pool and water playground. The room was spacious, location also is soo convenient.

I lived with my family at Shore residences. Great view but just not good from the point of Services. No exit of water from Bathroom. Blinds hanging loose. However, rooms are good, comfortable beds and living area.

Very nice rooms… A lot of shops are closed in the neighboring mall… So you have to move for dinner and shopping.

Big clean room with very good view of the city. The bed is very big, king size or bigger? Really love it. The con is the bathroom's wall is glass and can more than partially see through. Would be good for honeymoners or couples. But not with kids above 4 years old as it proved to be a bit of inconvenience with their peeping playfulness. The pool is wondrous for young kids with it small theme park concept. But very cold. The lift is not a problem if you go non peak season. We had a good stay as the view is marvellous.

The glass bridge above is not … It's all a mess. Just looking at the scenery … All photos received 45 pieces … Tickets are expensive to die … Photo more expensive … You'd better not go to the glass bridge in Malacca …

Be prepare to wait 15-30 minutes for the lift. Per floor 22 unit. Total up to 26 floor. Yet only 2 lift serving the guest and residents. Swimming pool a bit too cold and dirty. Visit once and that's it. Parking space limited as well.

Seems that the management couldn't cope/unaware with the peak season. It took us nearly half an hour for check in only. Housekeeping refused to provide us with extra towels. The changing room of pool was dirty. There was no staff at all at the pool area. Hence most of customers used the pool without proper attire. We hope that the management of The Shore Residence will improve its services in future.

Spacious room for a family of 7/8. Nice view. Guest facilities eg swimming pool, sauna, gym, lounge and deli are in house for guests and residents. Clean and in order. Worthwhile!

The space of the studio is good for couple. Reception did a good job even under tremendous pressure from people checking in during my arrival. Parking is free throughout the multi storey carpark. When entered the room, air-conditioning was not working. Tried to call operator via in-house phone but no one pick up. Then, went to the reception and they told us most likely the balcony doors are not fully closed which sensing the door closure to activate the air con. Only thing need to improve is the lift efficiency and we waited for almost half an hour to reach ground floor during check out.

It's good only if you're there for some quiet family time. Rooms are OK, the rain shower is good although water pressure is a tad bit low. Good for being clean, but at night the AC can be quite cold. There's a "residential mall" tied to the hotel, but the lack of a supermarket demotivates people who stay there. Nothing much happening at the mall. There's a Starbucks at the ground floor foyer and right next to it an Uber pickup/drop-off. Overall the place is good but not great.

The Shore is Highest hotel at Melaka. Location beside the Melaka River and nice view. During weerkend I have event stay here waiting lift very boring take up 30 minutes due full load. Bath room no place to place wet towel. Room keeper at 1700hrs not yer perform after return to room. At Swiss Garden lift to level 30th is different confuse cause no signage.

Waited so long for the lift. Tv channels are in bad condition, cant watch at all. Poor Wi-Fi signal.

Superduper slow lift. 40 stories hotel with lousy lift system. The first and last. At least 20 minutes juat waiting on the lift. This hotel don't actually deserve any star.

All necessities fulfilled to a high standard. Enjoyed our stay. Uber discounts good for quick city connections. Walk along the river highly recommend.

Super lousy and bad service hotel that I ever stay. Please dont waste your money. Check in not welcoming, no bell man and staff just sit there and not bother to open up the door at the entrance when we are with 3 kids and 2 elderly. 1of them having difficulties to walk too. Check in took 20minutes. Hotel swimming pool no towels. No extra towels allow. When I made up a complaint, the hotel staffs told me to pay extra for the additional towel. Hotel room — furnitures full with dust, bedsheet with stain. Lousy baby cot! Hotel shower room — flooded!

I would like to honor Ong (the lobby staff). Very good and kind. Good to have his service. Explained details very clear to me. But when we go to the pool, it was maintaining, the water park is not functioning, we cant go because the next day we have to depart early. Another thing is the room cleaniness is disappointed. Great place to stay for family trips. Rooms are clean and comfy and facilities are great for kids. Food choices around the area is limited though and the mall is very quiet even during the weekend.

I read a lot of negative comments here but here what I would say … for me it's the best so far. I dont mind waiting for the elevator. It's normal. Swimming pool is awesome. Room could not be better. And the price is very cheap as well.

Clear stain of blood inside the bedsheet during our stay. Pillow is not comfy to have a restful sleep. 2 lifts is not sufficient during peak hour check in/out. Facilities for an apartment is lacking of bigger dustbin. Kitchen utensils lack of dish washing cream, & sponge. Overall the layout and cleanliness is great but the only drawback is the small dustbin which over few hours an army of ants will visit you if you have food leftovers in the dustbin. Nevertheless, bed may sometimes found some of these little ants scouting for food.

FIRST OF ALL The environment is great and fantastic. The room is highly spatial. THE FOOD THE FOOD! The breakfasts Is ultimately great, matched the price of the hotel, highly recommended.

First time and last time for this lousy hotel. Unprofessional front desk gave wrongly key, no response on phone call more than 30mins. Staff attitude lousy and rude. Found a rusty and a lots of warms in kettle. Call front desk more than 30mins then walk to front desk request for a replacement. Then wait for 1hours plus still no action. Bought kettle to front desk to request a replacement and after 20mis finally get a replacement. Meanwhile font desk and housekeeping show attitude problem, NO APOLOGIES and ask us to make complaint direct to hotel. Both team need to improve working attitude. Btw, inconvenient carpark to lobby, if travel with family who c/w old folk and young child really not suitable to walk far distance.

The altitude of the staff at reception was normal. Just checked you in and gave you key. That's all. The room was spacious with balcony. I had a good view of the city as my room was at 34th floor. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Really nothing to complain about the room. I didn't turn on the tv. So no comment.

Weak Wi-Fi in my dulex room. Smelly from bathroom if off the fan. Swimming pool on the 9th floor, it share with other hotel and residents. No towel provided. But others hotel have. Good location. Great view. Big room and bed with bathtub in bathroom.

View is nice, environment ok. Housekeeping cleanliness need to improve bcz floor a bit dirty… bed have small ants. Waiting for the lift is the main problem, we "climb" step by step from 9th floor till 21st floor after we morning swimming, & oso waiting for lift during check out session.

Nice Room with a Nice Rate… Guest were complaining abt Less Signage and Confusing… but lets take it positively… Noticed lots of Manually Laminated signage at strategically place… Hope Guest look out properly rather than complaining… Kudos to The Shore initiative to improve… Keep it Up.

Very nice room. Super pool for the kids. Easy access to the city centre following the river. The staff at the reception n estcpar against not very welcoming. Restaurant great neighbourhood just next to the seri sahabat.

During normal hours minimum 20 minutes waiting time for elevator! Long queue at the counter at check in time. 3 bedroom apartment provides washing machine / dryer, but not function.

Nice new property, great child pool/adult pool, room is spacious. No issue on slow lift service Reception check in could be improve Tall tower that with great view. I book 2 twin bed (slightly small for 4 adult) Will book again.

Two lifts for the block we stayed at. We waited a good 30 minutes for an empty lift. Swimming pool is a hive of activity on a weekend. Great for families however the swimming pool area itself felt like a mini waterpark. There are no hotel staff available around the pool area to cover for incidents. We noticed pillar blocks in the childrens pool which are a clear hazard. Sheets in the bedroom have stain marks on them. Coffee likely. The apartment unit itself is well maintained. However its the tiny details that matter as well.

Hotel ok cantik. Tapi tak bestnya terpaksa tunggu berejam2 depan lif. Lif nak le hotel hanya ada dua untuk setiap wing yang ada 26 tgkat. Nak check out dari pukul 10 lbh simpan barang sampai pukul 12 baru selesai simpan barang dlm kereta dengan satu family turun ke parking.

Waiting for the Elevator to half an hour, for the first time. The check-in formalities. The difference.

The price is competitive and the hotel environment is Okie. Unfortunately the service and management need to be improved especially on the check in, staff working so slow to check in the hotel been waiting for 40minutes.

You can get a majestic view at the Hang Tuah stadium watching football and looking at the sunset. Swimming pools are nice. However note the lift sucks. Go to 2nd floor for the special lift que.

The price is competitive and the environment is quite ok. But, unfortunately the service and management is really need to be improved. Room service need to use own phone to call but not from the room's telephone. The waiting time for the lifts is really ridiculous.

At RM400 a night for 5 persons, it's very affordable. However we had a hard time locating the front desk to check in — it's located near Starbucks. The lift lobby to our room is located in another part — near Nandos. Good view of Malacca river and downtown. But the room could do with some repainting, there was mold in our 25F unit. And yes, guests are not allowed to use the microwave oven and washing machine. No pots and pans in the kitchen too.
