Beautiful hotel just on the beach, you will get the perfect view from the room… very near to mall & restaurants. A perfect gateway for malacca.

Location wise is not convenient enough as u cant directly cross to the shopping mall. Its divided by the major road. However, the hotel experience is wonderful. Variety of food choices for breakfast and comfortable room. Swimming pool with a view of a beautiful sunset.

Nice hotel, clean, spacious :) kids below 12 years stay and eat (breakfast) for free. Located nearby most major tourist spot.

I had a good stay. Service was prompt, room was really decent and comfortable. Only improvement could be the breakfast can be re-filled faster. If you get breakfast package, be sure to go early if you don't want to wait.

If I come to Malacca next time, I will definitely choose this hotel, this hotel from any angle to meet my requirements, cost-effective, bed super big, breakfast style many and delicious, staff service attitude is particularly good, will give me a lot of super good recommendations, infinity pool is also very nice.

Great hotel with great service. All staff from the beginning of our stay till the end were friendly and ready to help. Rooms are well kept and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The view was good, facing the street. Not noisy at all. Negative: there is no proper walk way to Makhota Parade although the hotel provides shuttle bus service but it's at 2hrs interval. So if you miss it, you will have to call a cab. I really wanted to enjoy a spa pedicure but they are not offering which was disappointing. The hotel in-room dining had better selection n food choices in comparison to the buffet offered. It tasted really yummy as its cooked in the kitchen n delivered to your room hot n tasty. But it's pricey… Overall my family enjoyed it.

Superior hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, hotel reception staff are very good, the 4 floor of the swimming pool and gym facilities overlooking the Straits of Malacca, very beautiful. Location is very good, close to shopping malls and chicken Farm Street attractions are within walking distance, the location is very convenient.

Was expecting more from the Holiday inn branding. Rooms were clean, staff was welcoming but room missed out simple toiletries. Vast breakfast menu, a dish for every taste.

I went there in Jun 2014 on an official trip to one of our company suppliers. The hotel is good, clean and spacious rooms are there. The room service was also very good. The location of this hotel is very near to the shopping places. In Malaysia, you see a twisted of races living with each other within their own areas of working, not intervening in other person's matters which is greatly remarkable. Same, I had observed in Melaka during my stay over there. The cuisines have a sweet mix of Chinese in them.

Hotel access card had a few hiccups but were rectified promptly. Room lacking amenities. When called for these missing items, took a while to get to the room. But room were clean and spacious. Had a wonderful stay still.

Had a wonderful time during my one week stay on this hotel. Excellent service and delicious food. A bit expensive but worth it.

Decent hotel in Melaka at the back of Mahkota Parade Mall. Room is fine. Breakfast is pretty standard. The only complaint is there is a separate KTV building next to the hotel which could get really loud and you can hear the noise from high floor. An OK hotel for a short night for business trip.

Hotel staff friendly, breakfast is very rich delicious room clean spare parts also complete hot water stable out of the noisy area a little distance but it's still great accommodation options.

The breakfast was a lot of choices, but it was not very tasty. The hotel room is also very old and the air-conditioner will be cold for a long time. The public holiday is not worth the stay, because the price is too expensive. It's just good to have free parking. The main hotel is very old, next time will not choose to stay in this House!

I always stayed here in Malaca. Unfortunately, it is no longer directly on the sea because land won. Including, unfortunately, the. View in the upper. Floors.

Been here for my mom's retirement ocassion. Very nice and calming environment ; perfect concept and atmosphere. But a lot of things that can be improved such as food served during hi tea. Food choices should be attractive, healthy instead of delicious.

Stayed here one night, the room was quite spacious with a good view of the straits of Malacca, it was clean and tidy and the bathroom was also clean with all amenaties provided. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and one thing I would like to tell is that I requested for a shaving kit and the front desk staff called three times to make sure I have received the kit. These small gestures make a lot of difference. Thank you for having such well trained and caring staff. The food at the essence cafe is quite and worth a try.

It is o. K pool gets the sun a rare thing in malaysia, the rooms are good size I paid extra for sea view but not a nice view, bed very hard no day time Italian restaurant just buffet or snacks or room service!
but a walk to mall has all the usual fast food outlets, secret recipe, A. W. Chicken rice, tony roma steak, etc.

Mixed experience here. We loved the hotel's spa services and the food is also good. Our room was clean, but had a strong smell left from the chemicals they use to clean it. The bed was too soft for us, your spine will become C shaped!

Lovely food and drinks at a suitable and worth it price. Staff are friendly and always try to do their best. The rooms are comfy and cosy. Even though there are ups and downs, the staff tries to make your stay enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good, and when you enter the hotel, you will be greeted by a refreshing smell that is perfect, not to much, not to little, and the staff's warm smiles. The facilities are cool and helps you relax. Definitely coming back again!

The check in was terrible. Despite email advance request and upon reaching no inter connecting rooms, no non smoking rooms, staff can tell me wait till 9pm if I insist having or 2 side by side room. As a parent of a 3 and 6 years old kids will you allow them to sleep themselves without connection. Worse is their hotel staff had replied my email to confirm my requests. The counter staff really got problem.

Superb and satisfied with the room I stayed. It was clean and spacious. I do have make a special request and staff hotel also had fullfil my request. Tqsm Holiday Inn. Definitely will recommend to all my friends.

The room is spacious and the sheets were clean. All basic neccessities were provided with exemplary service. I particularly liked the shuttle bus services.

It's old but room is generally clean. The bedsheets and pillows smelt dirty though, had to spray Febreze on them. Staff service was good. Aircon was strong. Rooms were big. TV was small, maybe 32 inches only. The breakfast was mediocre at best, quality and taste leaves much to be desired.

Clean, trendy, spacious rooms. Good view of the coast and sea plus surroundings near Melaka Raya and the historic sites. Reasonable priced rooms with 5-star facilities. Restaurant food so so. Ample parking.

We went there with 5 adults, 3 kids and stayed in the executive suite. 2 bedrooms with a living room/dining area in between. Enough space for us with kids! Breakfast was OK. Very near to Mahkota Parade and other malls. Definitely a worth place to stay.

Clean function rooms & adequate amenities. Good soundproofing to ensure training sessions done in peace. Attentive banquet team, familiar faces everytime we do corporate training there, making it easier to deal with them.

The hotel itself is a good facility, decent ocean views and very clean. Elevators are notably inefficient. The elevators are slow, they stop at random unrequested floors where the doors don't open — but then they continue to move again? Rooms are very clean, not overly dated and have all the necessary amenities. However light switches are overly complicated and sadly not labelled or marked — so good luck getting up for a pee in the night without illuminating the entire room! Service is not so good at this hotel — when delivering room service they arrived with a trolley and tray but then just handed me the plate at the door? We left the room service in the room, but when they cleaned the room — they didn't take the dirty plate? The hotel advertises that it wants to conserve water by ensuring that towels left on the rail will not be changed, so we left all our used towels on the rail (we didn't need them to be changed) and they gave us all new ones. So much for mother nature! Overall feels like this hotel has great potential, but lacking in attention to detail.

Great hotel good staff and good rooms great breakfast.

The rooms were pleasant and clean, as well as the toilets. Hotel is very close to shopping centres, but crossing over is not easy as there is no overhead bridge. Have to go one big round to get there, but there are shuttle services from hotel. Public Amenities like pool are great, SPA was excellent (do book in advance), POOL table available for good rate, and live music at lobby.

Melaka has little to offer a tourist. Hill top Dutch cathedral desecrated by vendors. River dammed to create canal for tourists. Old charm gone. Too many new buildings.

Nice hotel, the room smells great, 4 star as the pool is not accessible after 9pm.

Great service, staffs are very friendly and polite. Near to mahkota shopping mall and dataran pahlawan. They even have a charging port with cable for electric car. Way to go Holiday Inn!

Attended the western style wedding dinner of my friend here, the main course chicken chop is not well cooked. Willing to cook again upon requested. Nice service.

Nice hotel at a good price point. They gave me a room with twin beds instead of the king size bed that was booked, and I had to wait until the next day to get a new room. In addition their system said that breakfast was extra, but they fixed it immediately when I showed my booking confirmation saying that breakfast was included. The computers at the business center were outdated and slow. Despite this, the food was good, the staff friendly, they offer a free shuttle to a shopping mall and the old town with a night market, the room was nice etc. I would stay again.

It's a reasonable priced hotel with very good amenities.

The place is very nice. Comfortable, clean and the service is top notch. The food was nice but they lack choices for drinks. The hotel is nearby Melaka town and Mahkota Parade.

We stayed here a few years ago. We loved it. The staff were top notch and the food delicious. However, be aware that the food quality at breakfasts can suffer if you stay at the same time as any tour groups. It was quite noticeable to us that when the groups were staying the ''stodge'' came out. Having said that this is as good as it gets in Melaka for the price. The Casa del Rio is probably my favourite but bang for buck, the H Inn will be very difficult to beat.

Their 8 course banquet chinese food was awesome. Great taste and freshly prepared.

First our circuit city. We stayed two nights in this hotel location as close to the tourist center. The staff is very friendly (we had a problem of transport to reach the capital on the day we had to leave and they have found a solution). Spacious rooms, bedding is comfortable, and everything is very clean. The infinity pool is very nice (especially late in the day) to freshen up the ambient temperature with a view of the mosque and the Strait. The breakfast provides a great choice. The restaurant is of the same quality as the rest of the hotel. Free shuttles between the hotel and downtown run several times a day. In short, an excellent first memory of the Malaysia.

We had an excellent lunch-buffet and the hotel is modern and nice.

Room: Nice, spacious, clean, comfy. FREE Wifi in room: Yes, although it always auto disconnected after idle for sometime. Food: Breakfast was okay, with good variety. Buffet lunch was so lousy that the whole group decided to eat out for dinner (despite it has been fully paid for). Only thing that was nice with the lunch was its chicken rice. Location: Good, with a good view if you stayed at high floors. It is only about 10-15 minutes walk away from Jonker's street, but crossing the roads with heavy traffic is a nightmare. Although you may use the shortcut under the bridge, but not for night-time, it is just too dark and deserted.

Your idea of designatig and blocking paeking spaces for guest vehicles throughout they stay is a commendable gesture. Keep it up. Not to forget, your front office personnel are courtious.

Nice sea view room with goods friendly staff. Very conveniently located but yet not too near to crowds. Ample parking space. BUT Following problems: 1) Bathroom phone not working. 2) Bathtub drainage extremely slow, seems choked. 3) Interconnecting rooms doors are not sound proof enough, I had to put up with the next door iDock alarm clock going off in the middle of the night and every couple of hours. Door lock doors not seems completely secure too. 4) Asked for a later checkout instead of 12pm because I have a baby that needs her feeds, was only given to 1pm. Other hotels I've been will always give till 3pm at least.

One night sleep there. Hotel is ok. Unfortunately, Melacca hasnt got rich sights to see. It is very little city offer little things to do. But the food I had at the top level of the shoppin center was cheap and delicious. I want to eat those one more.

Beside clean n spacious room and nice pool, we were received with superb service provided by Miss Shahada at front counter during our check in yesterday. Also a surprise fr Miss Farah, Aini &?, whom have delivered a cake to our room as today is my wife's birthday. Many thanks. The hotel is only 10mins+ to ferry terminal n 15 mins to Chinatown (Junker St). We will come again for sure. :-).

Hotel is good and nice but since everything is so good why Wi-Fi in hotel need to pay 24 riggint for 24 hours. If able to improve that will be vwry good for a 4 star hotel in malacca.
