Simple necessities don’t have like small fridge or wardrobe to hang your clothes. And the price is too ex for tat kind of service. Front desk is always not enough staff to handle calls when it’s really impt. Breakfast place too much of outdoor mindset till never tot tat it would rain. Shld hv prepared wat if it gonna rain, breakfast cancel? Shld standby other place or fix a retrievable shelter. Really nonsense.

Loveeeee the hotel the moment I stepped into the lobby. Perfect location. What's not to like about it? nothing. Eventhough we stayed in a windowless room, I still like it. Super comfy and friendly staff too. Will definitely stay here again if I come to melaka. Thumbs up.

A worthy hotel in the Historic City of Malacca ; Great Location, Tasteful Decoration, Superb Rooms & Tasty Restaurants. Would appreciate if they’ve included Mini Bars in every suites and dehumidifiers in their wardrobe to eliminate some funky odor.

Had an amazing view from the River Suite, and the big bathroom is amazing too. Private jacuzzi are one of the added bonus. Location quite strategic near Jonker Walk too. Absolutely gonna recommend this to Friends and my family. Too bad I had pack schedule, so we couldn't enjoy the room enough.

We love the hotel the only thing we don't like is the cabinet inside our room, there's a smell when you open it! Rm213A.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced rooms, well decorated and located strategically within the Malacca city. It is right next to the Malacca river and offers a beautiful view (especially during sunset) if you select rooms facing the river. Everything is within a healthy walking distance. Jonker walk is only 6 to 7 mins away, A'Famosa is about 15 mins. There are convenience stores nearby, however I was not able to find a 24-hour convenience store nearby. Bear in mind, despite being in a heritage building, you will not experience the authentic Baba Nyonya culture in this hotel, as it is not furnished/decorated as such. If you want to stay in an authentic Baba Nyonya themed accommodation, you may want to look for a hotel on Heeren Street.

Great location, nice river view, walking distance to Jonker Street. Unfortunately, the housekeeping was poor. 1st day, the housekeeper didnt show up even after 4 pm. No fresh face towel. Next day, no housekeeping at all. The stim iron with no holder/stand, was really poor and non practical. Water heater for the bath tub wasnt working. The staffs are nice and helpful.

Bad service and bad reception. The guy at the reception made us cancel our booking from the website in order to get cheaper reservation then made us pay the same amount. After taking all the fees from us he said u need to pay additional fees for deposit and one of the rooms wasnt ready so we had to wait for 20 minutes. Theres an indian lady which I found so helpful at the reception but the main man wasnt professional at all.

I like the decor of the hotel, the location and view but could not helped feeling unwelcomed there. Staff needs more training handling customers. One of the least pleasant encounter. The issue of paying and getting back deposit is the most unpleasant and demeaning.

Beautiful hotel. However, we paid for premium upgraded room, couldn’t check in for over 3 hours after their posted check in time. We were awoken around 4:30 am because air conditioning was not working so room was hot. After the kind hotel attendant couldn’t fix room, we were moved around 5:30 to smaller room which was noisy but cool. We asked to be refunded the significant difference in rates between two rooms but were only given complimentary breakfast. Poor customer service!

Booked our stay for 2 nights during Raya and it was our best decision made. The reservation was made easily and immediately we received a confirmation. Our requests to have a higher floor and two rooms next to each other were attended to without any hassle. Tranquility, cozy, warmth welcome is how we felt the moment we stepped into this beautiful hotel. Our kids love their beds and the rooms are very comfortable. Perfect location as Jonker Street and many attractions are within walking distance. Creative murals and heritage building is right at the back of the hotel and the view is amazing! We would like to express our gratitude for the outstanding services extended by both Justine and Fatiha. From the point we checked-in to the moment we checked-out, both of them showed great enthusiasm and high energy level. We can see the hotel was short of staff due to Raya holidays. However, they attended to our requests and queries without delay. Our only feedback was it would be good to provide an additional room card for guests' convenience. We will definitely return again in the not too distant future.

Reasonably priced and strategically located in the city along the river. Good basic facilities with free car park provided. Unstable internet connection observed.

It was a "budget hotel" Wouldn't really recommend it It was a hundred bucks but they couldn't even give us an extra towel, nor did they refill our "daily" water. Not a good stay.

Rated 2 stars rating because its not value for money. I paid about RM600 for river view room but only to be welcome by a room where air condition was old with broken flap. Room was spacious but empty maybe that’s why the underpowered a/c took 30 mins to cool the room in the hot weather. Also only one key card provided means u cant keep the room cool while you’re out (no, other cards doesn’t work either) Worst is there’s no bar fridge in the room we were ask to pay RM5 per bucket of ice to chill our drinks. This ice thingy totally ruined my impression with the management (sorry but I have no sympathy to petty business owner like this, hence minus 2 star). Location is great and staff service is fair. But with that price I will suggest to stay at proper hotel. Im not returning and will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

I have been in Melaka for numerous time as I love this place. This time round, I have chosen this beautiful hotel for a night stay over the weekend for an Executive Suite. Check in was fast, room was ready. Room was clean, neat, nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the long bath jacuzzi was faulty, we asked for another room. The staff was very helpful, bring us the room key and the room was changed. Guess what! This time the room was noisy as the window sealed was faulty and left a gap. We couldn't took a afternoon nap as the noise of vehicles passing by were irritating. We had feedback to the lady staff. They told us they will looked into it. We even suggested to take back the first room if the repair was done as the noise was unbearable. After an hour, they told us they could change us to another room. They had upgrade us the room (without charges) to River Suites. Wow, this room was fantastic, big with sunset view. Me and my hubby was grateful to the staffs. They really took our feedbacks seriously and resolve the issues shortly. They were very patient, warm, friendly. Although this was the first time for the stay, I have good impression of this hotel. I will recommend to my friends and definitly will be back for the same hotel if I travelling to Melaka again.

I was located in room 212 and cannot fault anything. This is a wonderful hotel which is very modern and adds to the whole experience of Malacca. The staff are extremely helpful. Would recommend to everyone!

Loved the hotel! The service was great and the location was convenient. From the back of the hotel where the bar is located you can walk along the river to visit many restaurants and cafes along the way to the city centre. The rooms were comparatively huge despite the building looking small from the outside. We were offered a cool refreshing drink when checking-in and the staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable!

We found this place based on the great reviews. We weren't disappointed with the location, right in central Melaka, most sites within walking distance. Would definitely recommend asking for river front rooms as the ones we had were next to the road and it was NOISY all day and night until the wee hours of the morning, NON STOP! We didn't really need the breakfast option as there were lots of eateries nearby. Bathrooms were beautiful with jacuzzi although there was a leak, we didn't have time to use it though. However, the shower was either scalding hot or stone cold. A few complaints — the sheets were stained, not very clean and carpets are not vacuumed unless you specially request, being beige carpets, one can see a lot of stains and dirt in the carpets. Our holiday ended on a sour note though. The front entrance of the hotel has a 'DROP OFF ONLY' sign for hotel guests with cars. Unfortunate;y on our last day, (and the road being extremely busy), a hotel guest has decided to park their car there. When I spoke to the front desk, all she said was yes. So we had to carry our luggage across a very busy road to put our luggage in our car. Very disappointed with the lack of care from the front desk. No help from them at all. This definitely needs to be monitored.

The location is great, just a walk over the bridge from Jonker Street, the bar/restaurant at the back of the hotel overlooks the hotel and is picturesque. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and cosy, with all amenities provided to a very high standard.

Very beautiful place, modern washroom but rustic room. Only downside is the water's not hot. It's warm at best. Took over 1 hour to heat up. Maybe an isolated incident. I requested for extra key so I can keep the water hot while we're out so we can have a hot shower once back in room but only 1 key available for each room.

The hotel has river view room where you can have very good view of the river and good scenery of Melaka. Room is classic, spacious and clean. It not that cheap.

Unfortunately the jakuzi didn't function and a small construction is on going above our hotel room. Other than that, everything is superb. Warm welcome from hotel staff, friendly waiter serve us during breakfast. Nice a interior design and good choice of material in finishes.

Nice boutique hotel. Rooms are large. Staff was friendly. The only issue was the hot water wasn't very hot.

This heritage hotel has a wonderful architecture and is beautifully located along the bank of the river. However, the room that we stayed in was without a window… and that felt quite a bit terrifying… The dining area of the hotel is facing the river side and is a bliss and an awesome place to relax… Loved the customised dinner and breakfast by the hotel chef to suit our tastebuds.

A quaint little hotel nestled by the riverside. This refurbished hotel is given a relaxed almost Bali like ambiance. The back opens up to the Melaka river gives this hotel a unique and historic view of the river. I love the interior design. A rather chill out interior maximise your holiday in Melaka. Breakfast is limited in option but I guess breakfast doesn't seem to be a Melaka thing as no restaurants or cafe by the river is open for breakfast. Perhaps further down river they have it but not at Jonker street river.

Hotel's Interior Superb! Good Service. Hygiene. Hotel Looks Cozy and Well Maintained. But Hotel's Kitchen Management Should have much more Varieties of Food. Less Varieties of Food For Breakfast.

Hotel was very nice and I enjoyed my stay. I got there at 2 since check-in was supposed to start then but had to wait till 3:20 in the lobby waiting for my room to get cleaned up. Also they required 200 RM in cash at check-in which I was not informed of till I got there so I had to use a nearby ATM to check in.

Staff caught thieving from guest rooms! Stayed for a family vacation. On the final day we realised that one very expensive item had been stolen from a bag inside one of the guest rooms. We reported the theft to the reception and staff were incredibly slow and resilient to help. Only after delaying our return trip and insisting to see their CCTV could we prove that a staff member had entered our rooms when they should not have had. After reporting the theft to local police the missing item magically reappeared. Staff were clearly colluding with each other to cover up the theft. Do not use this hotel!

Great location, beautifully presented, but no bar fridge, we found a place that sold ice and put our beer in the rubbish bin with our bag of ice and sat on the balcony and enjoyed the sunset. A spare roll of toilet paper wouldn't go a stray either. Told breakfast started at 7am but it wasn't ready until 7:45. But if ever back in Melaka I would stay here again.

I'm staying at this hotel now. It's very Good! only 8 months old. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are big and bright (without window room). The location is very central, close to many attractions. Great value for money!

I stayed with my family there and enjoyed the hotel ambient and the easy access to the Janker street, the good point of the hotel is they have done the Seeinside option from Google street view and you can browse into the hotel interior and view the rooms and common areas before you go there. I will go back for sure.

What a great place to stay when you are in Melaka City. Great staff, great atmosphere, beautiful decorated room and lobby, comfortable, and cheerful. Would really like to come back again. Thanks to the cute receptionist. I highly recommend this place when you are in Melaka town. It is also close to Jonker Walk.

Like the river view of the balcony and the great interior design of the room. I also love the massage bath tub, which you can also enjoy the river view while relaxing in it :) The lobby is also great looking as well. However, the is some essential items lacking in the room, like a fridge and a table. The cafe is still under construction the time I stay there. But to be fair, food is available every where within 10 mins walk.
