Staff are friendly, good location, good package for family trip i. E children facilities and pool. The manager, Mr Raymond is very courteous and kind, Mr. Kamal the frontline staff also handy and service exceeded customer needs.

A quick weekend gateaway with the wife and family. Arrived and checked in within 15 minutes. Room was great, clean and spacious. Great pool For the kids and clean beach.

Service very very bad. I made a complaint regarding the water problem in the bathroom, the receptionist asked me to contact the owner myself. Crazy.

The room was not very clean as some rubbish still left by the previous customer, the drawer of the room is broken, the faucet of the tub is broken, the room and building definitely need to be refurbished.
the food and concierge service of the hotel also need improvements as well. The food was not hot enough when serve.

I would to start review by acknowledging front desk Watie for her exceptional service. Other staff like the breakfast area and pool also deserve acknowledgement. Appreciate it. Keep it up guys. Well the hotel/resort has everything you want. Everything is good. The only complain we have is the food and beverages, which we think need an overhaul especially the taste. The breakfast seating is very impressive, though. Anyway thanks for the great experience.

We booked our room via agoda. Came to the hotel around 3pm, it was already way passed check in time but the receptionist told us our room wasn't ready due to some defect. We went out for early dinner and came back at 5.40pm but the receptionist said we have to wait another half hour! What kind of service is this. It is already way passed check in period yet you made us waited almost 3 hours and we are still waiting for our room to be ready. It is a waste of our precious time due to this issue we were unable to proceed with our plans.

Nice pool, clean rooms, the studio room that we booked was spacious with long balcony overlooking the green trees. Toilet was a bit small for that room's size. A lot of activities for kids and guests in the Tupai Kids Room, cooking activity, movie night, tenis and ping pong etc. Location wise it is strategic not to far from Kuantan and local food accessible is good. Even walking distance from hotel. Beach is nice but can't really swim due to it's condition.

A great place to unwind. Beach was clean and private. Pool was well maintained. They were renovating some parts of the kids pool when we were there, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Breakfast options were limited, but still very up to standard. With the normal fare of local and western breakfast on offer. Overall a good stay.

Not a good experience for such a well known brand. For the price of the room which is rm 738 for king deluxe as it was Sunday (we get in voucher rm 238) with no breakfast. Not worth for the money and seriously disapointed with the room condition. The bath tub got stains, water stuck for the toilet and bath tub. The hair dryer n fridge was not working as well. However the massage n spa, view and customer service was good and alot of restaurant nearby with teasonable and delicious foods.

We stayed there for 4 days and thought it was great.
Our room was clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was in good condition. The breakfast is very rich and there is something for everyone. The food in the different restaurants is high quality and therefore more expensive than if you spit on the other side of the street in the small restaurants (which usually do not open until 5 p. M. ). The highlight of the hotel is the open lobby as well as the pool, here we felt very comfortable. The beach may be clean and empty, but we still found not so inviting, the current there is also somewhat difficult due to ebb and flow.

Resort on the whole is well maintained. Food at the local restaurant are all delicious & the staff are very accommodating. The beach is very close & the water is quite clear at that stretch of the beach. Good place for a 3days 2nights stay with ample activities for children or group. Overall a very pleasant.

Great place to relax after a 300km hot day ride. I like the fact that they allowed us to park our bikes right outside the concourse/lobby area. Thanks for that peace of mind.

This is beach resort with its own beach. It has outdoor swimming pool, gym, game room, and spa. It also has a pool bar and a pub. Room has nice beach view and balcony. Enjoyed my stay!

The perfect gateway place for a KL folks like me and my family! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the food is nice, the facilities is nice enough if not amazing, the location too, is mere 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. Single? No problem, you can mingle in the restaurants or pool side or even the public jacuzzi. With a family? Your kids can play in the kiddie pool while you lounging on the side with comfortable and plenty of shades, or you can swim the big pool yourself. Prefer indoor? Relax and book a massage session in the nice spa or go play in the indoor game zone. It's just perfect for all.

Beautiful environment, the beach is hard to run, there are cars, there are rhinoceros in the woods, and there are slender birds with tails.

Swiss Garden Resort Residences has been one of our most favourite places for staying in Kuantan. But this time round, I have been disappointed by a number of things — 1. They din't have enough 1 bed room suites for rental. The owners have taken it out from the Swiss Garden management and hence, the rooms they are renting out are shabby. 2. They have two bedroom suites, but they can't rent out single rooms separately, even if they are not at all occupied. I just saw 1 other family during the time of my stay. 3. They have a poor breakfast arrangement; to more dismay, they do not have any arrangement for lunch or dinner or high tea. 4. The only good restaurant around is on their Swiss Garden Beach Hotel lobby, that is very expensive. 5. Their biggest attraction, the water theme park, doesn't work to its full promise, for instance, the water bucket doesn't work, the slides are dirty etc.

I love the place. Never mind that the hotel is a bit old as the vast expanse of the beach well compensate that. The hotel could improve on the kids room though. It was a huge disappointment to the children as they were really looking forward to it. Another thing that could be improved on is the washing facilities for the occupants to wash their bodies after visiting the beach. They are severely lacking. Improve on this, it will be perfect.

Good location with private beach. Some facilities are old and renovations needed. Good place for relaxing. Swimming pool slightly smaller and don't have any facilities for children to play. The beach is nice.

For a 4-star hotel, I would expect the buffer dinner / breakfast whatever to be at a higher service and quality. There wasn't anything ravishing about the food here whatsoever, the plates were not even cleaned properly! The stay here was decent though, we had a breeze because our events held here were at an acceptable level, there was plenty of parking, plenty of space to run around, really amazing beach (although that had nothing to do with the hote) it was still was a nice experience. We had a great time jamming by the beach as well, there were bars that hooked up nice juices and stuff so it was pretty fun. But even this could be done by any beach resort. My main concern and pretty serious drawback is the food that was served is of absolute poor quality!

A nice place for a weekend gateway. The beach is perfect, nice and private enough without a huge crowd spoiling your day. The rooms have been renovated, so they are very decent now. Staffs are always friendly and helpful. But the gem of this place is the Blossom Chinese restaurant, the best place for dimsum in town!

We stayed here for one night. Love the room. The aircond was already on when I entered the room, and it smells nice too. The room is squeaky clean. The beach, oh my. While it may not be pleasing aesthetically, the beach is perfect for family activities. Perfect. Shallow waters, ample space to just lay down if you're into sunbathing or build sandcastle with the kids.

Nice place to chill. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was ok but selection was limited. Beach were clean but the water is murky. Overall, good for a short family vacation.

The service here is very good, the room is also very big Oh! There is a balcony, every room has. The toilet is large, has a bathtub and has a wind tube. The room has a hot bucket and so on. Can also see the scenery, you can choose to face the seaside, you can also choose to face the swimming pool. There are 3 kinds of swimming pool, one is adult, should be 150 centimeters deep, one is a child, there is a pool is warm water.

Bad is all very old and run down. The photos are ancient.

This place is supposed to be the grandest spot for a beach resort and spa. However the condition of its room (at least on the 4th floor that I stayed) was old. Its carpet were thinning real bad. I got a room with its garden view, which was very uninspiring as it overlooks a small field and an abandoned looking resort next door. Similar with the other facilities. Especially at its pool area. Its jacuzzi is moldy and the water level is too low. The only plus point for this resort was its lobby area. It was comfortable and relaxing to lounge around in this area. The beach is only a short while from its backyard. For dinner, theres a couple of seafood restaurant on the other side of the road.

We had a wonderful stay with family at Swiss Garden Beach Resort Kuantan for 3 days and 2 nights (15 — 17 December 2017). Our room was large and clean with partial sea view; private beach just at the back of the hotel. Was a lovely stay, just what I needed for some time out! The check in and out was fast. The breakfast / lunch and dinner spread was excellent with local and international food. The staff were polite and helpful, friendly and professional (*** Special Thank’s to : Mr. Fariza Rahman — Front Office Asst. Manager, Mr. Ramesh & Mr. Siva Balan — F&B Department) The best part of this resort was the nice landscape & the swimming pool was nice with breathtaking views. The hotel pool size was also just right. The Wi-Fi was free in all rooms and areas in the hotel. We would definitely recommend this resort for business or leisure. The hotel was better than I expected after reading some reviews. We’ll definitely stay here again in our future vacation! Overall the hotel is comfortable and fully satisfied (relaxing place and nice hotel) The only thing need to improve was the Parking Area… — need to upgrade with the covered car park.

Negatives: old and slightly run down, wet carpet smell in elevator. Limited parking and access to parking. Short number of staff at reception abit slow. positives: suitable for big family and many activities for children. One of the okay hotel.

10km to the center very quiet sea very dirty.

On the whole a pretty nicely designed facility with slightly larger rooms. In part you can see, however, that these are already somewhat older dates and can tolerate small cosmetic repairs. For a stopover on a round trip but absolutely recommended.

We picked the family suite room to fit our family of 6. Very big room with 2+1+1 bed but Quite pricey for a Rundown hotel but well maintained. Bed linen is not clean. Reason for staying mainly for the beach n big pool in Kuantan area. The staff are very friendly and helpful though.

Great place for family reunion. Great rooms with balcony with beautiful sea view. Clean room, clean place, nice big pool, interesting interior decor and good amenities. Direct access to clean beach. A lot of indoor and outdoor activities available. Good food and helpful staffs.

It was most convenient hotel to stay as it was close to beach. But we wish they had a better choices of drinks at the bar by the beach. The restaurant offers were not updated too. Though most of the front desk staffs were friendly and helpful, but there are one or two that needed some personal coaching on customer relationship. Our balcony was rather dusty. Overall, we had a good stay.

At two o ' time, wait till four o '-hotel. Ask them if they're okay, but keep telling us to wait. Wait for what. If it's a lot of customers, we know. The problem is that there are no customers but us. I've never met a service like this. I can only say that the staff at the counter are all two hiding in the inside to tell jokes. The boss should solve the employee's problem.

The hotel is very similar to what is found in the Mediterranean region. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated.
But the greatest thing is the access to the sea. From the hotel area the beach is super accessible and although it is a public beach it feels like a private beach! Clean and with a nice shallow entrance into the warm waters of the South China Sea.
The hotel is absolutely recommendable.

Very nice hotel at Pantai Balok. Nice white sands, well maintained pool facilities. Rooms are clean too. On our first night's stay, the wash basin leaked and the bathtub was clogged (probably sand from swimming attire of previous occupants) but the maintenance staff managed to fix things right away. Parking space is quite limited. During peak season, you may have to park outside. There are not many eating places nearby (except for small roadside stalls) but Kuantan town is 15 min drive away where choices are more abundant.

There is a smelly smell of cockroaches in the accommodations, the toilet and the cockroach's feet, and the cockroach crawls at night. Bed cloth yellow, there is blood. Breakfast is rarely available. The swimming pool conditions are very strict. Everything else is fine and the environment is elegant.

Overall look and feel is good as expected from a resort hotel. Pool is big and quite uniquely styled. Was on business trip hence didn't had the time to try out the facilities. As typical of local hotel, do not set expectations on international hotel chain service quality and speed. Giving it four stars based on reference to local hotel standards and feel.

Really disappointed with the housekeeping. The way they have made the bed. Sands still on the bed. Linens pillow covers smell mushy and not fresh at all. Quilts looks old. Only the room is sprayed with a lot of perfume but the bed itself is horrible. Family room 8335. There is still litter under the bed from previous occupant.

Begin from the check in. It was suppose to be at 3PM. When we reached at 3.40PM, it still was not ready. We wanted a connecting room but at last have to settle for ANY room available to speed up the check in process. My key card had trouble opening the door that made me had to walk up and down to the lobby to get it fixed. The room airconds are very warm throughout the night. The bathroom shower tub takes a long time to dissolve water during shower. I have to shower a little, turned it off, wait for water to subside before I can continue. It took me twice as long to shower. The fridge in my new room was making sound — — I had to turn it off. The Wi-Fi NEVER seem to get connected. The had bicycles parked outside almost made us excited to rent. However was told the brakes aren't really 'functioning' but still CAN be rented. We walked over, the chains were orange rusty! So bike 'at your own risk'. I don't think it is possible when you see how rusty the chains are. The good part — — breakfast view, breakfast variety and taste is good. However, slow to clean up. TV channels were many to chose from. Swimming pool was nice, however tiles in them were yet to maintain. Cushion seats by the pool are washed everyday — — pretty impressive. There was a very nice guard offered to look after my belongings & took it closer to the hotel & to him because we were playing far out the beach & no one was to look after our belongings. Most of the staffs there were pretty good at their service.

This hotel is almost a mandatory choice if you’re on a business travel because is close to the industrial area (around 10-15 minutes by car). Friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Inside the structure you can find a few restaurants, shops, gym, kids zone, etc. Etc. That’s good because outside the hotel isn’t that much to do.

Good place to stay. Hotels at cherating is much better. But this is an alternative if you dont want to drive further up. Breakfast is good. We enjoyed the pool and the beach.

1st time staying here, just check in few hours… My Mood was very out … I'm not happy. Cz I'm having problems … 1st problems just check in, 15 minutes… Suddenly black out 3 times 2nd problems, order of beer … They don't know what stock they don't have… After make a order, 3 can tiger 2 can Guinness stouts, awhile time they call back, say Guinness stout don't have. After change my order, awhile time call back again say they don't have tiger beer. I have to change my order again. 3th problems Wi-Fi password have to call an request. Get the password number, suddenly Wi-Fi can't connect… Have to call and request again … Huh … Spoiled my holiday mood …
