Excellent value for money and in a superb location. Hotel is very compact, as was the single room. Very good stay though, although small, the room was comfortable and we'll appointed with a great rainfall shower.

Value for money hotel at a very good location within the city. Good for short personal/business travel.

I loved the location. Stayed in a single room. The room was small but had everything I needed it. Bathroom was not bad either. Everything was clean except some dirty stains on the carpet in my room. It was not that noisy from outside and I slept on the 4th floor. Super close from massage places and jalan alor, bukit bintang, and working distance to klcc as well.

OK for the money. Attention to detail required on the room service. The taxing foreigner's only is an insult as the local council need to clean the alleys and the rats at the very least.

Hotel located near Jalan Bukit Bintang, room is small but in modern style, room is clean and tidy, if you wanna stay alone or backpacker I would recommend this place. Near to restaurant and convenient store. 4 stars because of limited choices of food during breakfast.

Great staff and pricing. The hotel is 1 minute away from Jalan Alor which was where I wanted to be close by. The room was respectable in size and cleanliness.

It got an 'official' 3 stars but I'd think it's rather more like 2 The rooms are indeed on the small size, where mine in fact had most floor space mostly occupied by the bed. The view from the breakfast area located at the top floor were stunning, though the breakfast itself were small and indeed lacking by any measure when compared to any other hotel I visited. One clear minus point there. Tram, local restaurants and a few shopping centers are found in close proximity, also several bars, though prices are somewhat higher than one might expect — as there's a 'luxury tax' in Malaysia added for religious reasons. And also convenience store open around the clock on the corner. The hotel have a small number of parking spots, and one man seems to sit guard keeping an eye on guests cars most nights. So your car will be safe. A short but important list of the negative features that lower the rating, not for the hotel itself but the surrounding area: The hotel is not located on the main street, but in a shady corner on the rear. And so it's not exactly an inviting idea to go out at night here, its really dark and no streetlights! And secondly some mentioned children, I'd say this is not a family hotel at all.

This is a great place to stay, located in the KMT line and LRT line to the intersection, and GOKL free bus to the blue line, purple line, green line three, the transportation is convenient, nearby is the famous ALOR Night Market, Lotte, kingdee Department store shopping district, dinner shopping are is convenient, accommodation the hotel is clean and refreshing, the staff nice, the finish is a single trip, this hotel is Security enough.

CP is not very high (because there is a better living environment, the price is cheaper), dark lights, the only advantage is from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Jalan Alor really very close, because it is in the alley, so need to pay attention to their own safety; When the counter with radio contact Room services, may be to check the room there is no missing bar, please we wait at the counter, only to pay us the deposit, attitude is very good, but in fact, the feeling is not very good.

Amenities are good. But very strict on checking and checkout time. I reached at 6:30 am, but my checking happened at 2 pm. Location is best but do not use shortcut road in late night.

Stylish hotel with really nice ambience. Very friendly and professional staffs. Hotel location is awesome as it is situated in Bukit Bintang area and well connected with mono rail and busses. There are plenty of food option and different cuisine available in this area. For street food lovers, Jalan Alor is just few minutes walk from the hotel. Book early to get discounted price. You have to pay some security deposit which will be returned after checkout so prepare yourself accordingly. Overall one of the best budget hotel if you are staying with your family.

The hotel is very clean and in a central area of Kuala Lumpur. The only two negatives, poor breakfast and air conditioning pointing directly on the bed. For the rest recommended.

Great location to take public transport and a short walk to the evening stalls of fresh fruit.
Basic, quiet and clean room. Comfortable bed, kettle, air conditioning, separate shower from WC, hair dryer and courtesy set.

Great Location — quiet but right near the action. Decent Wi-Fi, great single room for the budget. Could use a cable TV package with more English channels especially news. Would stay again, found a better price on their website instead if third-party.

Good place and located in a perfect place for commuting to other places of interest.

Stayed in this hotel with my wife. The rooms are not big, but big enough for two people to be comfortable. The service is amazing. But most importantly, I think you cannot beat the location. We enjoyed going to Changkat Bukit Bintang at night and having to walk back only a few minutes. Moreover, the short walking distance to both the Metro and the Monorail is awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone who asks.

3rd stay in this hotel which is amazingly well located. Very decent rooms, clean and functional. Staff nice and polite. Choice of set breakfasts served in roof top view with outdoor terrace.

My experience for single room was good. Clean, comfortable and quite. But the location difficult to find. For the breakfast, just have 3 variation, and the taste is quite good.

The area is not nice but as a counterpart is located close to excellent shopping centers. They should improve the breakfast. Small room. Close to underground stations.

Little hide on a dark street but the price, location are great.

The hotel is well maintained and clean. We really appreciate the place and its staff. Best of it all, it is strategically located really near pavillion and malls, jalan alor in a safe area.

Affordable, clean hotel, located in an area that may seem a little shady, but wasn't too bad at all. Especially if you don't dwell too far and too late from this area. The room was small but effective. I traveled alone, so it was perfect. If you are traveling with a significant other, I would strongly suggest a room with a bigger bed. The bed had just enough room for me with only about an inch short of length (I am 6' tall). I really liked the fact that the bathroom separation was a glass wall, as it made the appearance of the room seem larger than it truly was. If traveling with someone you don't feel comfortable with, then you may want to see if they have any rooms with a little bit more toilet privacy. If I ever have the reason to be around the Bukit Bintang area, I would stay here again. Although the night market is the next street over, finding vegan food is a bit hard to locate. Your best bet is an Indian restaurant on the opposite street.

Very nice Affordable and very clean. Breakfast is AWESOME! Great value for money! Close to malls, bus lines, monorail and food court.

Nice and clean, friendly staff. Remember that the numbers of rooms are written on the floor in front of them, and it's not too easy to locate them after a tiresome trip. Great craft beer bar nearby.

Good value — right in the heart of the bukit bintang area. Breakfast also good value but repetitive. They have three set breakfasts to choose from and after a week I needed some variety. Don’t let the immediate dodgy surroundimgs put you off. Very nice hotel inside.

Its a nice place with even more nicer people, read to help you in any way they can, to book tours, and answer all your queries about anything. Room is a bit compact but its modern and clean with a mini fridge, safe, electric kettle… loved staying here.

Nice and clean room, even though not the most spacious one. Location is very central and can be quite noisy on Saturday's. All you need is just a few meters away. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

With acceptable price, you have a good place for couple's. Its position is very near to Bukit Bintang. The facilities such as bathroom and mattress are quite clean. I will comeback next time.

Nice location, 2 minute walk to night market with local food along the street, and 7/11 nearby. 10 minutes walk to lrt and shopping mall nearby! Very convenience and safe of money without taking taxi. Helpful and friendly staff, making me comfortable all the way of stay! Definitely will go back to stay again! :)

Hotel Melange brings the meaning of boutique hotel to an entirely different level, situated on the buzzling street of Jalan Rembia/Jalan Alor. Impressed with its tasteful concept (a different theme for every 2 levels, with a total of 3 distinguishable themes), use of space, good security (unlike other hotels, Melange employs a security guard to ensure privacy of hotel guests are not compromised at night) and most importantly, the chic breakfast concept that looks like the wel…l thought-out breakfast set came straight right out from a parisian bistro. Definitely a steal considering the charges for an overnight stay in the entertainment belt of Kuala Lumpur is barely half the price of neighbouring big label hotels that look old and tired. Whilst Melange is still ironing out some minor details to create the perfect experiences (as we can see from the warm receptions from the staff, eager to find out about the experience of my stay), I will recommend this hotel to the adventurous and family crowd who will love to be surrounded by awesome food and entertainment options. Looking forward to my future stay here in Melange again. Well done to the team at Hotel Melange!
