Nice place to stay in or to organize a party. Nice food to dine in. A lot of car park available.

Very good breakfast buffet. Staff is very friendly and willing to help out. The doorman helped me to call my tour on his phone and ask them when they will arrive. Nice gym and nice pool.

I was not in the room. I went to nearby beach. When I back at night time, I saw my door was open and the hotel staff was there. They simply enter my room without my knowledge. I check on the room and make sure nothing missing. Called the manager and he promised that this will not happen in the future. However, theres a feeling of unsecure staying in this hotel.

2018/4/5 from Taiwan to Sabah for a tour. 4/7 in this accommodation. Service excellent. Breakfast is rich.

I was here mostly attending courses. And when family members come for visiting, I always propose this hotel. I like The Palace not only because of the extremely reasonable rate they offer but also because of all the facilities they have. Beautiful, on the hill top, deserted from the city, I just love it.

Nice location, but if you have no cars, you need to walk up the slopes. The private spice n flowers garden is great for a small educational tour.

I went to attend IELTS exam. I haven't stayed there. The staff were very helpful. The toilet didn't have hand pump although there were plenty of tissuepapers. The swimming pool and seminar rooms were not so spacious.

I took my IELTS examination here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The scenery also very good. They have variety of facilities such as gym and swimming pool.

Basement rooms are clean but the no view is quite upsetting. However, the food and staff were excellent.

We stayed in two different rooms, first (deluxe double) had a broken door and no air-conditioning. Second (Executive, deluxe double) had a power cut and no cold water from the tap. The shower temperature dial did nothing, either boiling hot or off. Staff did not apologize and refused to refund.

The Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu is situated in a hillside location away from the centre. A nice middle class hotel, the rooms are large, modern furnishings and clean. The rooms on the upper floors offer a beautiful panoramic view over Kota Kinabalu. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is plentiful, 3 x daily there is a free shuttle — bus to the center. In about 15 minutes you can walk in the middle of the city centre, in 5 minutes in the nearest shopping centre (Star City Mall) and in various restaurants. I was already twice in this hotel, the ride to the airport by taxi takes about 15-20 minutes!

A bit of simple rooms but ok, the breakfast was Asian kitchen and not frequently refilled… Not when we where there anyhow. They do have lots of parking, which is also very nice.

Don't judge this hotel by its outside appearance, it may seem simple, old fashioned and with odd castle facade. But they are gooood of their staff, room cleanliness, accessibility and amenities. Certainly not a budget hotel, though.

Nice place. Ozone swimming pool. Fitness and steam room available. Got herb garden. Deluxe twin quite big but washroom a bit small. All room are non smoking.

Good location A long settlement and an attempt to block funds on the map, although the number was fully paid before the settlement. The rest is straight. The taxi drivers don't find a place to go straight to the hotel. There was a free shuttle to the shopping malls. Three times a day.

Good place to bring your family to stay during your holiday in Sabah capital. Variety breakfast choice, delicious food and fresh fruit juice. Don't forget the gravy salad and dessert.

Clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Free parking provided. Breakfast is quite good and great variety for a very cheap price. Wifi is ridiculously slow though, just 0.5Mbps down and 0.6Mbps up. It has a very nice garden with lots of beautiful flowers behind the swimming pool.

Was below from my expectation, Ming Garden serves 200% better that this.
