Staff very attentive and friendly. Rooms are as described in website… very reasonable price. Very cosy and worth your penny.

48 hrs in KUNDASANG, this is our home away from home. The Lodge has a spacious family room with a queen bed & twin beds for my kids, private bathroom, living room & private balcony overlooking lush greens. Breakfast is provided too. It's homey feel and superb cleanliness & service, is what makes it our choice for the trip.

Affordable, nice view even forest view but we still can see mount Kinabalu, clean, friendly workers n peaceful.

Upon our arrival, the reception lady was friendly. The place was very nice & quiet. We stayed at one of the room that have a splendid view of the mountain (Stayed in Begonia Lodge). A peaceful place for families with kids & toddlers. Breakfast & dinner is provided. We drove from KK so lunch was not a big issue for us because we drove out to see Kundasang area. Night time was cold so don't get dissapointed if your room has no airconditioning. The room was simple but clean & the beddings smell fresh. I would love to bring my families here again to relax, unwind & enjoy the cool breeze.

Sangat sejuk… xbest kalu dpt yg agak jauh ke bwh turun tangga. Tp okla pg2 dpt tgk view kinabalu. Live tenet xde atau xde lansung kcuali celcom ok skit. TV dh la xde.

It is a bit rundown. Other than that it is good place to spend time with your family and friends. Just beware of peeping tom when taking shower or do check for any abnormals in the shower room windows before taking shower. Good view of Mount Kinabalu.

No tv. Just enjoy 100% the view. Everything in good condition. Feel likes a home. The most important thing can see the mount kinabalu from the balcony.

When we got to our room, there was a swarm of bugs behind out pillows. We were told that the room had just been made ready before we got in. Other than that, the water pressure was bad and Wi-Fi was weak and slow. But fine, I ignored that and just greeted the staff with smiles anyway. The next day we went out to another park for the day. When we got back, hungry, tired and expecting to have dinner. The restaurant was closed. There were no signs on the entrance and nobody informed us the night before when we ate there that it would be closed on this particular day. Not even the staff at reception told us. When we asked the girl at the reception that evening why no one told us the restaurant would be closed, she just shrugged and said they didn't know, and that the restaurant is under different management and that they are only open sometimes. If that's so, then their advertising that they have lunch and dinner available everyday is a lie! We're not even given an apology! There was no other decent restaurant that you could go to without walking on the narrow road with speeding cars and aggressive dogs. The food isn't even that great, but they charge city price, and it's the only one around. This is the second time I'm staying here, I'm very disappointed with the management of this place. I will never come here again or recommend this to anyone.

I was here in Dec 2016. If you are looking for a luxury accommodation, this is not your place. But if you are looking for tranquality and peace, I would recommend you to choose this resort. I love the green surrounding and moreover, colourful flowers! At night, me and family will bring out chairs and sat at the balcony/verandah, chit-chatting while sipping our hot choclate. The only setback (for us) is the dogs. They are everywhere. No, the dogs did nothing that harm us. It just that we are not comfortable, especially the kids. For dog lovers, you must be drooling seeing their thick fur that signaling you "please hug me".

Good location, next to the Park HQ. We had nice room with the view for the mountain. Peaceful and quiet place. Good restaurant with cheap food. Staff could communicate more with the guests, in some cases I felt lack of information or lack of knowledge, but overall good place to stay if you want to discover Kinabalu Park.

Room with mountain view is the best. Privacy and nice view.

Tidak sesuai untuk pesakit slip disc dan orang2 tua kena panjat bukit… Tempat tinfgal di bawah kaki bukit.

We stayed there for 2d1n. The room was okay except for the hot water but that was expected since I read a lot of comments about it before I book the room. So we just boiled water using the water heater provided and mixed it with tap water in the pail provided. We went there during raining season so we decided to buy dinner just from their cafe. The receptionist told us that the operating hours for dinner is until 9 pm but when we went to the cafe at 8.30, it was already close…d. Luckily from our room we can see their kitchen and saw that the staff are still there. So we just went down to their kitchen and ordered 5 sets of nasi goreng kampung + fried egg, which costs us RM14 each Breakfast was just so-so. Any additional egg menu will be charged rm2 each. Overall we are okay with the stay, its just that we think the chef needs to improve his cooking skill so that it will worth the price that they charge.

The room is nice and comfortable and the toilet also very clean. And helpful staff. I am satisfied customer!

Nice view of Mount Kinabalu. Easy access to Kundasang's hot spot. Huge room with balcony. Just need to improve your hot water system.

Room 23 — you'll have an exclusive view of a majestic Mount Kinabalu right through the room window from your bed. A VIP access from your room balcony. A filtered hot water station right outside the room.

Great place to stay in Kundasang. Dont expect too much. You will not be disappointed.

Cool place… with the blessings and beautiful backdrop of the tallest mountain in S. E. A.

Cozy rooms, good standard compared to what is usually found around Malaysia. Food in general was alright and breakfast included was really nice (for a small 3MYR you could add eggs and sausage). But the highlight was the staff, really helpful. We only stayed for one night, but they still allowed us to use the facilities after our day-hiking in the park while waiting for the bus which they helped us book. They also helped out in booking our stay at Kinabatangan River. Don't know what we would've done without them.

Nice stay. Nice environment. But still have space for improvement. Especially at the slippery walkways during the rainy season.

We stayed at Fado for 2 nights, living/dining was spacious, rooms and kitchen were adequate. There were two bathrooms but one out of order which I heard had been awhile; didn't bother to repair it because they seemed to focus on getting guests to stay there, which gives an impression that profit is more important. The other bathroom was quite claustrophobic and has no handle to the door which was difficult to open after use. But it was clean. My mom booked and paid the house in advance and was told the ground floor was not for guests and will not have guests besides us but they accepted guests on the 2nd day we were there when we're having a family New Year party. The guests that came in rudely asked us to quiet down when it was still early (late afternoon) and made us sooo angry with the management who informed us that the whole house was only for us. This was unacceptable! And again gave the impression that the management only focuses on profit and misinformed their guest (us) who's paid in advanced. Boo to this situation! Stay away!

A good place to stay and felt the fresh.

As a nature lover, this place is absolutely stunning. The chilling temperature, and with Mount Kinabalu behind our lodge, this place definitely got my attention. The only con is that it is located quite far from the nearest town. Walking is not an option. You have to drive/ get a cab. Other than that, it was a pretty relaxing place and the rates were affordable.

Not bad for a night lodging. Ask for bigger room if you want to have your own kitchen.

Love the ambiance and the surroundings. Perfect views of mt kinabalu from the balcony.
