Youth Hostel Lultzhausen Hostel

Top location, very nice, friendly staff, good food.

This is a best place to stay if you are in Luxembourg & want a budget hotel. The rooms are small yet clean n with attached Toilet and a bathing area. It has bunkbeds with separate cabinets for storage.

Nicely located right at the lake. Friendly owner. We booked a family room with our kids of 2 and 3 years old. It had two bunk beds, was large, had 6 lockers and its own bathroom with a shower and toilet. Shower was extremely hot without and option to change the temperature. There's no soap nor towels so bring your own. Bedsheets are provided but need to be put on the bed by yourself. Room was nice and spotless clean. There's no curtain but instead a wooden shutter you can pull in front of it. Beds were comfy. Free Wi-Fi was very decent. We went for the evening dinner. It's a fair deal and the quality of the food in balance with the price charged for it. Breakfast is a bit basic but good enough. The indoor playground looked really nice and in perfect shape. There's an extra charge for using it though, even for guests. When we were there there was a large group of teenagers. Bit of noise especially from smashing doors but around 11.30 PM it got quiet. Also a constant weed smell blowing into our room through the open window late evening from the room below. Dinner is only served between 6.30 PM and 7.00 PM. All in all a fine place to stay. There's no parking near this hostel. There are two places in front of it for 30 minute loading and unloading. Parking can be done further down the street in about a 10 minute walk. Will cost you 60 eurocent per hour. Alternatively park behind the hostel along the big road.

It's too good I was with my class out there.

While breakfast is rather uncluttered, the dinner is in keeping with the motto of Luxembourg cuisine "gudd a vill, " meaning French sophistication in German portion sizes. Today, after a delicious broth, there was either crispy baking fish with remoulade or delicately spicy beef roast, as well as croquettes, imperial vegetables and small side salad and for dessert fluffy-juicy tarte au squee= (rhubarb cake. All cooked herself and personally issued by the friendly and four-speaking cook. After that, a spelt beer brewed just a few miles away, at the bar open until 10pm, and the day sounds perfect.

The rooms are very good but the prices of things in addition are exesifs.

For a Youth Hostel — this is a wonderful one. The location is magnificent and majestic, basically right on the shores of the lake. There's a large fire pit for bonfires, and comfortable beds. The food is also above average for Youth Hostels.

Lovely Location. Get a swim in the lake is you can, it was very energising. Some lovely walks and Treks around. The hostel staff are great, obviously the accommodation is not ideal for a family but we really enjoyed the holiday no the less.

Very modern hostel close to the lake.

Nice setting with a Lake, big space to play with children. The rooms and bathrooms are modern and clean. The walls are very thin and neighbors who speak even at 4 in the morning c is a horror. Big problem in the House that we rented, the 4, a gutter of water rain, infernal, falls on a metal part and c is a horror on at 2 o'clock in the morning. The kitchen is ok. It is also the point of make you holiday camps. To happen l apply for parking, if not 26 euros d almond.
