Relatively cheap hotel that offers a lot for the price. Spacious rooms (ours had steps down to the bed, which gave a higher ceiling). Friendly staff. There is a small bar in the reception area which serves world wide drinks as we as a few local specialities. There was a TV in our room that allowed for HDMI input, however you need to bring an adapter yourself if you plan on streaming anything from your phone. Free Wi-Fi provided. OK breakfast, although the staff rushed a bit with the cleaning when the breakfast ended, often grabbing our plates before we were really finished. Staff speaks english well and we enjoyed our stay very much. They also offer great spa treatments from the establishment next door!

Great accomodation. Excellent location. Very tidy. Very nice breakfast buffet that is included in the price of the room. 4 stars only because the toiletries supplied were only shampoo, body wash, shower cap and soap. Also, I was woken up by the noices of breakfast preperation in the mornings, even though my room was at the very last level (level 8) and coffee machines were always out of milk during breakfast. Other then that, great place to stay in Riga.

Good hotel, you can see that everything is new. Great service, lovely breakfasts. The location is great — next to the market, bus station and railway station, Old Town.

Pretty central Hotel, close to trainstation and old Town in Riga… The breakfast was good with lot of possibilities… We had room 311 which did not have windows out, but inside windows so we looked down on check in desk. The room was good/ok with some issues which was not so good. — We had shower in a bath tube, but if you was higher than 175 cm you have problems to get "under" the shower. — And if you are around 195 you hit the roof. All this since they have build up the bath tube. One another thing is the AC controller which is hanging wrong place in the room (311) Since it have either have pretty big green light or a huge white light which light up the whole room in the Night …

The conference room at the top is nice, overviewing the Old Town. The food was good, the service was not in a hurry though, but we had what to do so it didn't really bother us.

The Bavarian Football Group had its 10-year-old Boys romp through all 8 Floors of the Hotel for 2 Nights in April 2018 until 24.00. Doors slammed over the Night and football and Hockey was played In the Hallways. Despite multiple Complaints, the Management did nothing at all! On the third Night the Russians sang until midnight! In this Respect, every Hostel is simply better!

Just a perfect place to organise an international event, all our 38 guests were satisfied with the services, and on the organisation side everything went just smooth — we have received professional and timely assistance every time we needed.

The hotel I liked. New, well equipped. The rooms are quite spacious, equipped with everything necessary. Plumbing no complaints. The hotel location is Central, within walking distance from the city centre. Has its own Parking lot. It is, however, 20 Euro per night.

Really good hotel in the centre of Riga. Stay with a school group and the staff were happy to have us there. Good facilities, good breakfast.

The hotel declares itself as a 4 star, but unfortunately it is not. At the beginning of the rest all started from the Parking lot, which is located near the hotel for convenience, but to use it, be very kind to pay 20 euros was very surprised) ). Then once in your room, which is considered a 2 seater with 2x double bed, has it become more interesting) ) were eventually pushed the two small beds that were constantly razletelis and caused bespokoynogo sleep. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, Slippers were absent. Oh, and then judge for yourself 4 stars or still overestimated) ) )

I think it's great, because everyone has different preferences.
Room to the street. By double windows absolutely quiet.
There are also rooms that only have a window to the inside hotel room.
These are pretty warm… but have all air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet was great.
Food otherwise good too.
The location is very good…
Over 5 minutes the market.
In the opposite direction it goes to the center of the city. Since 10 min you are in the middle of it.

A star deduction as the rooms are a bit small. And the shower is not separate to the bath tub or has its own cabin. (but is whining on high Niveo. But all the stars mean practically perfect for me. )

Staff are lazy and unhelpful, you will be charged for any little thing, and the facilities are too basic to be considered a 4 or even 3 star hotel. I've seen better.

Great Hotel! Very pleasant for business stays.

I was annoyed, had to pay for an alleged misplacement caused by me 58 euros Although I was here many times. A no-go for me, will never book this hotel again!

Very nice hotel. Great rooms and breakfast. They had 1-2 floors in renovation, but without ANY discomfort.

Fantastic. Great value for money. Very polite, friendly, and professional staff. Before you head into town ask for advice regarding which club to go to. But avoid Coyote fly at all costs. Locals only. A very expensive tourist trap.

It's a nice place. A hotel in an old building. Nearby is a wonderful park. The center and the old town is very close.

Great location on the edge of the old town with easy access to the airport. Clean, warm and well provisioned rooms.

Ideally located 50 m from the centre of the old town.
The room was excellent Super comfortable bedding. As for the restaurant: excellent. We had booked nights + breakfast only. But we took almost all of our meals at the hotel. C is delicious, and as we were sleeping at the hotel we had — 20% on meals. But even without this discount, the value for money is amazing. Service in white gloves, fine cuisine, can be a long wait but it's worth the shot in English only.
If I have the chance to return to RIga, I reserve again in this hotel.

Fantastic location to the old town. Very helpful staff. The only negatives were the rooms were quite hot even with the temperature gauge turned right down and breakfast was a bit crowded. But fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel and city.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great location just opposite the main bus station and at the edge of the old town. Was thinking about taking away a star because of the spider in my room. But he keeps to himself so it ok.

+I was here 3 night with my family. Rooms was clean and there was space enough. Bed was nice, same to pillows. I also like bath. Breakfast was quite wide and good. Dinner was also pretty quality, and waitress was friendly. – Bar area was small, not much benches.

Good place. Workers were really friendly and helped us out. Breakfast was basic, there were options from which you could choice, but they were kinda limited. But dinner was just wonderful, beautifully made, everything was really delicious and fresh. In our room we had problems with outlet, only one of them worked. Even when we asked for help, they could not do anything with it. Room was soundproof.

The hotel is quite impressive, with professionally friendly staff. Rooms clean, spacious, nice bathroom with plenty of amenities. Exceptionally good restaurant (and not expensive) and breakfast, lots of choices and excellent waiter service. Internet connection was working fairly well, but slow at times. Secure underground parking. Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the old city. Whoever designed the garage entrance probably never had a car, as it is really tight. Moreover, garage is 20€ per night, which is very expensive for Riga. In the room, there are several warnings, for smoking you'll get penalty, for improper towel use — another penalty. Personally I really don't like such things. Minibar things seriously overpriced.

Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is magnificent, in the old town, 200 meters to attractions. Lunch in the restaurant: tasty, reasonable price. I will definitely return to this hotel again.

Spent in this hotel two unforgettable days! Only pleasant emotions. In the restaurant you can buy excellent local wines from the black currant in a long narrow bottle is highly recommend to try!

Nice but a bit small rooms with small bathrooms. Breakfast was ok but the restaurant is too small and the staff has difficulties to fill up the buffet fast enough. Had to ask 3 times to get milk for my coffee.

Staff well trained, always attending the guest's needs, yet invisible otherwise. Rooms are clean, well maintained. Overall, one of the best quality/price ratio. Very close to old center. My new favorite while in Riga.

I had a pleasant stay at Avalon last weekend. As this was my first stay in Latvia, I had no prior expectations for the hotel (or Riga in general), and was thus pleasantly surprised when I arrived with my wife. The room was up to standard, with a nice tiled bathroom. The breakfast buffet was also nice, though the bacon could have benefited from some frying. The only thing I would complain about, was the exorbiant prices in the mini-bar. I mean, 5 euros for a bottle of water!?!? Pro-tip: go to the bar and buy the same water, it's a euro cheaper. Or better yet, go to the nearest grocery store and buy it for less than a euro.

This is 3 stars hotel. Not 4, Absolutely. Room was clean, good bed, no parking, 2 minutes by walk to old town and 5 minutes to railway station.

Stayed 5 days! Location of the hotel was great, room very comfortable, light, plasma TV on the wall, huge shower and generally spacious bathroom! Breakfast is good, you can eat meat, fruit, pastries, all fresh and tasty. But the main advantage is the location — the very center. For demanding even Wi-Fi everywhere and an Internet computer in the lobby!
My husband and I sure are going to come to this hotel again! We advise you!

Very nice staff, provided everything we needed for our two day conference, no complaints here. Restaurant's a little pricey, if compared to other places nearby and has a pretty limited variety of dishes, but I didn't regret having lunch there, portions were more than enough and tasty. To sum up, I really did enjoy my visit here.
