Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp Hotel

We stayed in this camp for two nights and absolutely loved it. The hosts are extremely welcoming and will do everything to make their guests comfortable. The shared bathrooms, dining room, and private Bedouin tents are immaculate and well kept. A delicious buffet dinner is prepared every night, offering local dishes that blew us away. We loved how attentive the hosts are and the way we were always meant to feel at home.

A very nice place to stay! The staff is amazing: they are friendly and helpful, and make you feel welcome. The tents are cute, and the whole area is beautiful. The rocks are lit up with many many lights, so when it gets dark, it's like seeing hundreds of fireflies. But also when they shut off electricity at midnight, it's beautiful, or even way better: see the myriads of stars in the desert! Totally recommended and I hope I can come back some day!

Had an amazing stay. Food was great. The tents do not have ac or heating. It was very warm at the beginning of the night but it eventually cooled down. There are also a lot of stray cats. This is the best way to stay the night for Petra.

Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend the night life. Dinner was excellent and tea and shisha around the fire was perfect. Plus the view is spectacular! A little warm during the day, so if you are looking for AC, a pool, and feather pillows, better off staying at a hotel.

Amazing views. Had a lot but tough walk up to the monestry (1100m). Truly a world wonder. Only the horse ride back is included but the men riding them demand a tip beforehand or else they will not ride you. We didn't have enough change so we couldn't ride it. But of a disappointment, but everything else was just perplexing.

The family that runs it was great. I had great nights sleep and a lot if food choices. I loves the gathering tent where you can talk with other guests. They arrange transportation to and from Petra for a reasonable cost and they were always on time. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Guys, I spent here one of the most amazing moment in my life, amazing tents, amazing service, a very nice and helpful stuff, I really like this place Don't try to visit petra without sleep in this camp.

Very friendly staff. Close to Petra attractions. Good facilities. Highly recommend the tea at night.

Great atmosphere. What’s missing: an information center. The staff had a lot of great knowledge, but were hard to find in order to ask. Dinner buffet at night was a great deal.

A great place in Jordan. The tents are equipped with fairly comfortable beds, the sanitary facilities are very clean and there is hot water until midnight for showers (as long as the power generators are on). There is a large communal tent with fire and tea (free) as well as the possibility to rent a shisha for 5 Dinnar. There is also Wi-Fi and power sockets in the tent. The surroundings were just great and the ambiance very impressive.

Food is very basic and hot water only in the evening but a cost place and nice stay, however in general when visiting Petra be aware of Johnny-Depp-lookalike Beduins who are after female travellers.

Welcoming people, great food and nice tents! I love everything about it! I had my birthday there and amazing experience in Petra mainly thanks to the friendly guys that welcomed us and helped with everything!

Great place to stay at when visiting Petra. The bedouins who run the camp were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the main tent, where all the guests gathered for some tea in the evening. If you’re visiting in winter, be prepared for the cold. Even though you’re supplied with many warm blankets it can get quite chilly in the tent at night.

Best place to stay at I will say this is a really wonder place! People very friendly eten was very good, facilities are very clean, confortable and cost they make the best for you to feel confortable I recomend it.

I love the community of the place. Of course, it has been modified for tourists, but still a lovely alternative to the standard hotel. They keep candles in the rocks boarding the camp — a lovely site to see. When there lights are turned out, you will see perhaps the loveliest stars I have ever seen.

Nice camp not far from Petra. Very good food. They have electricity from solar batteries, Wi-Fi, clean enough showers. After dinner you can smoke hookah and drink tea near the camp fire. Beware of the cute kitties though. :)

Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp is a truly special place, and I would urge you to stay if visiting Petra! The Bedouin people are some of the most kind and generous I've met, and do their most to make your stay unforgettable. The tents are comfortable with plenty blankets, a charging socket and a light for during the night, and the bathrooms are spotless with showers available any time. There is a large social area around a campfire to relax and enjoy the lovely Jordanian tea that the camp staff provide continuously; and a dining area for breakfast and dinner which is cooked fresh daily in the camp — very plentiful and delicious! We had an unforgettable experience — watched the sunrise, then sunset atop the mountain next to the camp; viewed the stars from around the campfire; and learned about the Bedouin people and the amazing city of Petra! The staff are happy to help you arrange trips and transport and you can trust them to help you get a good price. The camp is located about 10mins in the car from the Petra visitor centre and JETT bus stop — call the staff when you arrive (the guys in the shop can do this for you if needed), and someone from the camp will collect you for 5JOD. They will also take you into Petra or back to the bus station anytime for the same price (per car, not per person). Don't hesitate to book!

Nice place to have a peaceful night under the stars of Petra with nice service, good food, tents, beds, bathroom with hot water. And nice evening around the fire having perfect cup of bedouin tea…
