Nice hotel for short stay, they have got taxi stand and airport limousine bus pick up right at main entrance, also Shimbashi station is next to hotel, so commuting is real easy. While going to airport from Hotel you need to book bus in advance from reception. However hotel is pricy, they do not give complementary breakfast so you need to factor that in, specially if you are vegan or Indian veg oriented person. There is one vegan restaurant at 1st floor though, you can very well ask at reception for nearby options. Their economy rooms are very small compared to US standards, I mean very small, and did I mention rooms are small. :) Now you got it.

Great location, very convenient walk to Ginza and with two very close stations Shiodome and Shimbashi, clean rooms with beautiful panoramic view, clean quiet and modern area, very busy day for the presence of many offices, the evening very calm. Many restaurants for every taste, not cheap but worth it.

Nothing less than perfection every time I stay here. I recommend spending the extra money to have a room facing the Hamarikyu Gardens (浜離宮恩賜庭園). This side has excellent views of the park, sunsets, and Tokyo skyline across the Tokyo Bay (東京湾). The other side of the hotel faces the Nihon Television Tower (日本テレビタワー), which is a less desirable view as you can see people working. The hotel location is ideal for connecting to all major train companies, within a five minute walk. The concierge and check-in staff are very professional, polite, and speak English for tourists. The breakfast option is absolutely worth the price — especially if you prefer to eat early in the day, as many surrounding food options do not open until 10:00 AM. The breakfast option has a full Japanese and American style buffet, including chefs that make omelettes.

Luxury hotel ideally located in Tokyo. JR station is easily accessible. Junior suites have a Grand life on the city.

Great for both the location and the staff. This is the first time I have been using the best quality bathroom products. Recommended. Although the room was small, I hope to go back because I have a nice memory.

A great stay that works well for foreign visitors. My only additional requirement is for room service which I do not believe is provided. My room was large, well appointed and maintained to a high standard. The hotel has good facilities with additional nearby places to eat, drink and shop in a small area The service was impeccable by the staff and I thank them for their efforts.

Good view of the high-rise floor, the room dry and comfortable, not far from the Shimbashi station, convenient transportation, near Tsukiji market and Ginza. This accommodation is an excellent experience in the travel.

I've spent a good two weeks of my life in this hotel and have only fond memories. The views are amazing and everything about my experience here is wonderful. Once back in Tokyo, I will be staying here yet again!

This hotel was adequate for my stay. The fitness facility could hardly be called a gym; the room was small and the equipment, minimal. The room was clean and spacious enough for a single traveler. However, it was odd that no body lotion was supplied during Tokyo's cold and dry winter, as another reviewer here has pointed out. I did not sample the hotel's food, so I cannot comment there. I would stay here again, but with the knowledge that it could be expensive in terms of travel (taxi) costs to not stay closer to two popular areas of the city, Shibuya and Shinjuku.

Check in when the waiter rush, we booked two rooms, 2:30 P. M. Check in, incredibly there is a room is not ready, the front desk brother a forehead sweat, sweat! The hotel door is Hayao Miyazaki's big clock, every day the whole hour has the performance, do not miss OH.

Used to be a great hotel with good service and I had recommended for many to stay here in the past. Now the hardware has been run down to such a bad state (check out the shower head holder in the bathroom) without even being checked/replaced. On top of that service staff are not well trained and I saw them providing differentiated service to different customers. At the reception the staff agreed to deliver body lotion (which was not readily available in-room during cold dry Tokyo winter time) to someone’s room. When I called to ask for it the call center staff simply asked me to go buy from the convenience store. Will definitely not return.

Definitely an Hotel with the best rooms I have seen. I couldn't ask more in Tokyo: excellent rooms with a beautiful view on the Tokyo Skytree, directly from your bed, during nights, during noon and morning. I have found rooms always clean, and the room respected what I was expecting from a 4 star hotel. Super great, the very close station of Shiodome, perfect to start your trip in Tokyo. Two bad points thought. The (international) meal and the breakfast is quite poor, classic and nothing different from a 2star hotel — neither the food quality is something to remember. The second bad point is the bathroom, badly designed, with transparent doors over the shower. Not much great in case of friends or colleagues.

Nice hotel. The rooms are relatively spacious. Minus: Sports Complex is paid.

A modern and contemporary hotel. Rooms are well-fitted and comfortable. There is a ventilation mechanism to bring in outside air, good to have when you can't open the windows. Many high rise towers too close by, so you've to keep curtains drawn for your privacy. Convenient access to several train lines, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, etc.

Great hotel: Large rooms (by Japanese standards), provided with everything and with an exceptional cleanliness. The location is perfect for visiting the main districts of Tokyo: it is very close to the railway station for the circular and to more metro lines.

We found this a fantastic hotel to stay in. The facilities were excellent. The area was safe and well connected to public transport. The staff at the hotel are excellent — extremely helpful, friendly and courteous.

Wow! What Service! Wow! Look at the price! The Shiodome hotel was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at but also one of the priciest. At over $450 a night, shouldn't everything be excellent? Service: The service was good, but good customer service is baseline in Japan. There's bi-lingual staff and an excellent breakfast (Japanese and American) buffet — I like to have a little of everything. However, compared to other comparably priced hotels it didn't seem like there were tons of staff available. Maybe this is normal, or maybe it's an unobtrusive quality? Rooms: Space is limited, but in a $450 hotel room? I had a small room, with a desk at the foot of the bed and a bathroom. Everything was meticulously clean and the room had plenty of natural sunlight with large windows. Location: Close enough. Was close enough to the train station, Bic electronics store, and plenty of restaurants. It's close to the fish market, but I wasn't able to wake up early enough to go. I'd stay here again, but would look around at other hotels first. Not entirely convinced it's the best option in the price range.

Great hotel in a great location — walking distance to Ginza & lots of restaurants near by. Above subway stations with three lines so easy to get around. Rooms decent size for Japan and had a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay!

Small sized room but very comfortable. Wi-Fi is a little spotty but they installed some sort it portable router in the room when we called down. Great views and great location. Easy to get around via subway.

Stayed here twice during the same trip. Very nice hotel. Good breakfast buffet. Only ate dinner at the hotel one night. The Sushi restaurant was good, but there are also lots of restaurants and bars walking distance. Very conveniently located near JR and subway lines. So it is great for getting around the city.

Great location to start with… 2 stations within 300 meters. Ginza is walking distance. There's a MacDonald outlet for the junk food lovers within a few meters. Tokyo Tour pick up happens within a few meters. The room was quite lovely. Big. Clean. Wonderfully equipped. As was the dressing room and the toilet. Food is quite good. The Cajun steak was spectacular. Sushi is good too. The staff were very friendly.

Perfect Never intended in staying near Shiodome. The area never appeared to be convenient to me, but post Tsunami, the prices for hotels dropped significantly and I chose it based on price and tripadvisor recommendations. I was not disappointed. The location is actually far more convenient than I once thought. It's situated near Shinbashi (Shi"m"bashi) and Shiodome stations. The former is on the Yamanote line, which for travellers new to Tokyo, is the most convenient way to get around Tokyo (it's a 59 minute loop, which covers nearly all main tourist areas of Tokyo and is included in the JR Railpass if beginning or ending your pass). Side note here: If you are a foreign tourist visiting for a short period, be sure to apply for the JR Railpass prior to leaving. It provides the most convenient, affordable travel around Japan. As per nearly all Japanese hotels, the staff are extremely pleasant and the facilities very clean. This isn't an area where Japanese fail. The one sore point with most foreigners (particularly from large countries like US, Canada, Australia), is that Japanese hotels are small. Not so with the Royal Park. Large glass windows and open plan rooms make the rooms feel airy. They also have modern large bathrooms.

Very good location, very close to shimbashi station, can ride asakusa line, ginza line, JR line and Yurikamome line. Also can ride oedo line from shiodome station to Tsukiji market, just 1 stop. It has limousine bus to Narita and Haneda Airport. The new renovated twin room is spacious enough and has very nice view.

Nice, clean hotel. Rooms (and King beds) are larger than expected. Amenities in the room are excellent. Very close to Ginza and other attractions.

Staff are amazing room was fantastic with great views. I left very expensive jewelry in the room when I check out. The room service returned it, great honesty. Breakfast was amazing, looking out to Tokyo tower. Great location.

Excellent location, close to two major stations and the monorail. Rooms are clean and have great views out over the city and river. Bathroom is well stocked and a decent size, and having a separate shower is a real bonus in Tokyo. Staff are very helpful and all speak fluent English. The location alone makes this a good choice in Tokyo. Certainly enjoyed my stay.

Good/average hotel, appropriate for business but not for tourism. Location is good if you do business around (Shiodome, Shimbashi, Ginza, Marunouchi), convenient with several restaurants in towers and malls and a McDonalds downstairs, very convenient for breakfast. Location is not good if you're there for tourism, way too boring at night. The room is okay, perfectly clean and functionning but also very small and with no room for clothes apart from few hangers. Don't take breakfast at the hotel, it's bad, absolutely not at par with equivalent hotels, and very expensive. The service is also pretty bad. The gym is real, which is not common in Japan, but it's also very small and limitted to 2 treadmills and 2 bikes and few weights… I recommend you look at other options first and take this one only if it's convenient for your business.

Very good hotel in Shiodome, located in the upper floors of one of the skyscrapers, within walking distance of the stations of JR Shimbashi and Shiodome (the train without the conductor of the line Yurikamome which goes to Odaiba). The views from the top, from the center of Tokyo, are very interesting.

I was lucky enough to be staying at this hotel in November 2012. The room in the 36 floor had spectacular views, the breakfast a real luxury, and the service friendly. The area of Shiodome is new and is filled with skyscrapers. Within walking distance lies the District of Ginza and Tokyo Tower. The best hotel in which I have been.
