No dresser for clothes and I had to call two times for hangers as the closet only had four; Very thin blankets and pillows on the beds, I called for extra blankets. The ones that were delivered were tired and worn. I had the very distinct feeling we were alone or almost alone in the hotel; the first floor rooms (saw when I used the stairs) were all open and under construction, with equipment everywhere Breakfast was very poor with stale bread, many prepackaged treats, etc. We ate little and had a bigger lunch elsewhere; Shower in the room (we had paid for an upgrade) was so small that I barely fit in it without touching the walls. I am 5’4” On the second morning we were seated next to the men working on the first floor at breakfast who were eating in their construction gear The music playing on the radio in the dining room was continually skipping and no one noticed The staff in the dining room did not speak English and brought us the wrong drinks as a result When we went out, the front desk gave us 2 umbrellas at my request. One was broken (discovered when I was halfway down the street and opened it when it started to rain). When I returned, I told the front desk person it needed to be thrown out. I later saw it back in the bin. The lobby has an old, stale smell to it. The rooms, lobby and hallway all have the same smell. I saw on line that this is an “old-style” hotel. I like that usually, but this hotel needs renovation and cleaning.

The pool and sauna were a revelation. Felt like I had won the Lottery.

We tried the restaurant, something absolutely divine, unique dishes and exquisite, the staff helpful, friendly, and comfortable environment, we will be back with pleasure, suitable for romantic dinners.

Stunning hotel in the heart of beautiful Perugia, offers luxury rooms and services and a beautiful view, even from the restaurant room, where I personally enjoyed the delicious breakfast, vast choices and all of excellent quality. Central place, really recommended.

Wow! They were pleasantly stunned. One of the best dinners ever made. The dishes were amazing, a perfect combination of traditional cuisine and modern cuisine. In my very personal top ten of "heart dishes" together with those of my grandmother I have included I "tagliolini with white sauce of pigeon and truffle", to try once in a lifetime!

The Sina Brufani is the perfect holiday hotel to say in. When visiting Perugia the staff are excellent, nothing is a trouble for them. The location is perfect to enjoy the vista over Perugia. Every year their is a jazz festival. Where artists come from all around the world to play in Perugia.

Historic palace, historic hotel nothing to say. Rooms taken care of in detail. Great customer service, but they play a little too much about being historic, it would take something that would be a bit modern. I would love to go again.

A waste of money. If this is the only 5-star hotel in Perugia, then there is no 5-star hotel in Perugia. Nothing works and nobody cares. Never seen such rude, careless people at the reception of a 5-star hotel. Room key not working. Instead of sending someone up, they gave me the key in attachment (like a bed and breakfast). Safety box, not working. A 5-star hotel without a bottle of complimentary water, let alone a kettle for instant coffee. A joke gym without towels (you are supposed to bring your own from the room, like in an Inn, and leave it smelling in your room overnight), let alone a bottle of water. Stay away.

I was there only at dinner and although the food was very good the portions were not a great deal.

Staff very courteous and SPA of modest size, but nevertheless quite relaxing and welcoming, as well as the rooms, cared and precise.

The only five-star hotel in the historic center of Perugia, with a beautiful exhibition of a contemporary artist named Duke to see and then go also in his gallery at the studio with appointment.

Lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. The room is great; clean and comfortable; even a bath, which I didn't expext. Bed is great; I love their pillows! One thing: I was hoping for a little coffee machine and/or water boiler in the room, but there wasn't. Also, the spa wasn't available due to maintenance, which they didn't let me know beforehand. I got an apology, but got only an offer of free dinner after insisting on some compensation (the spa was the main reason I booked the hotel). Also, it's an old building, so you will hear other guests in the next rooms. So mind this if you need absolute quiet. For the rest, I can definitely recommend the restaurant as dinner was superb! Also, room service was punctual and perfectly executed :) And a big plus is the location: beautiful view over Perugia and right next to Piazza Italia, so you're right in the centre and close to everything.

Beautiful Hotel perfect position lovely staff I would highly recommend it.

Very charming historic hotel. We got a room with a balcony. We also had a wonderful experience using the pool with a glass/transparent bottom with a view of Etruscan ruins. The Turkish bath was relaxing.

Top notch hotel with an excellent restaurant. The swimming pool/hot tub built over a Roman bath is a must see.

High Standard Hotel. It deserves the prestige it has.

I was there on March 24th, 2018, I was very pleased for the spa/spas that are there. But for a problem they were closed. It was the only reason I went there. I was not even advised before the fact and even at check-in, I could change if they had said it before…

There have been several years ago… But Wau that place that view that dinner that I remember…

It is a classic and historical hotel Old age but elegant Restaurant employee are nice and friendly （-3) floor the swimming pool with Romantic ruins and has been presented well.

Very nice location An elegant and at the same time contemporary environment. The location then is respectable, overlooking a beautiful terrace on the ' sea '. Obviously it is not sea but the impression that you have is precisely that of Trovarvisi.

The restaurant disappointed me very much, I was there with a colleague for work, visiting Perugia and I have to say that for the price paid, it is not worth it. Very friendly service.

Absolutely exceptional location, friendly staff, magnificent interiors & a wonderful historical flavour maintained throughout despite lovely contemporary enhancements over the years. A great choice for visitors!

Sins Brufani was very accomdating as a hotel in Perugia. Excellent staff, delicious breakfast, and nicer than usual beds. Fantastic location as well; center of Perugia as well as about a half an hour bus ride to Assisi.

Walked in to get an aperitif we waited 15 minutes the waiter, then went to look for it… ordered 2 prosecco only chips and peanuts have been arrived, spent 14 euros. The location is very nice.

Very elegant hotel. Unfortunately strong in the years come. The sanitary facilities in my room were functional, but exhibited damage to well-visible rust spots. The breakfast buffet is inappropriate for a hotel of this category.
The service is poor, we took 3 people a little half an hour to check out and then there were still errors in the bill.
The hotel benefits from its very nice location in the old town, but should improve its service and equipment of the rooms.

Loved this place. Had a room on the second from top floor which had two balconies and a king sized bed. Giant room, too. The pool with the glass floor doesn't reveal as much ruins as I was hoping, but the cave like room and details beneath the pool are still very cool. Service was amazing including the valet. You're perched at the very top of the city and pampered — what more could you want?!

Beautiful panoramic structure and located in the city center. A bit decadent and outdated. Good quality anyway.

Beautifully renovated hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, marble bathrooms. Professional staff (not had once seen the cleaners walking back and forth). Breath taking Etruscan swimming pool in the relaxing area, small but good quality sauna. Slightly disappointed at the restaurant food — this type of hotel (higher end class) calls for more complex food. Reasonable prices for what you get! Overall a very good experience.

A magical place. The staff are friendly and very professional. The view over Perugia is impregnable. What about the pool and sauna to relax at night! In this hotel everything is luxury, calm and voluptuousness.

Excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Breakfast is really good, not full English but all top quality, try the juice. Didn't have any other meals. Very nice health centre in the basement, very clean and all the equipment works flawlessly. Pool is small but lovely and warm. Staff are excellent. Room was average size, clean and very well equipped. Wi-Fi works well. TV small with only one English news channel.

One of the most amazing hotels that I've visited. I've seen different 5 stars hotels, but this hotel is really different, because it is a historical heritage place, which even keeps an ancient peaces of a building (you can see the archeological findings in the basement). Exceptional service, premium materials, lots of marble, but it still feels cosy. In some other hotels with lots of marble you do not have that feeling. Amazing textiles, attention to the details and perfect view from the top of the hill. Breakfasts are good, the variety of food is not crazy, but of course, it includes prosciutto, cheeses, focaccia and sweets, which is good enough to be a great beginning of the day. The spa center is getting busy in the evening, while during the day there is noone and it can be all yours :)

Bella struttura, stanze ben arredate, forze un po' vecchi I pavimenti e la moquette (si sentivano alcuni buchi nel pavimento sotto la moquette). Per il resto buon servizio e colazione ben fornita.

In the heart of Perugia this beautiful hotel has many services. The only regret is not having been able to take advantage of the limited time available.

Visited Perugia for the weekend. Stayed at the Brufani for 2 nights. And had the best 2 nights on my 3 week trip to Italy. Arranged for a junior Suite (rm 230) with an incredible view of the valley. Had what was one of my best dinners of the year. Staff was attentive and helpful. Shower pressure was wonderful. Will visit again.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for one night. I so wish we could have stayed longer. It was beautiful. It was clean, the room was big. The bathroom was great. They put slippers out for us at the end of the day. There were these awesome fluffy bathrobes and a Jacuzzi tub in the room. The hotel staff was great. The drinks from the bar were perfect. What a view when you walk out the front door of the hotel I would highly recommend this hotel. The pool is incredible. Glass bottom to see the ruins. Awesome place. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and helpful. The beds were comfy too.

If I could, I would give this hotel a 3 1/2. You can tell that it used to be a 5 star joint that had been run down over the years. When we got there we were given a room with the view of a wall even though we ordered a valley view. We were disappointed but it wasn't to bad. On the first night the bedding was old and it smelled like caramel and body odor we were displeased but it was sorted out when the maids came to clean (the maids also put a chocolate on your pillow every night which was a nice touch). The pool was just awesome and the restaurant was expensive, but the service was pretty good and we loved the desk receptionist with the short brown hair. Overall the hotel was great and had very good views that unfortunately we couldn't see from our room.

Very good hotel, very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Super value.
