It is a family hotel, and you notice that.
They are so friendly and do everything to give you a great stay.
Outside it is also great the view is phenomenal and you can walk straight into the sea.
We really recommend it, you can relax.
The food and drinks are of high quality and the breakfast provides you with everything.
We will definitely come back there.

PERFECTION! We celebrated our wedding on the 16th of July, and from the beginning to the end it was all PERFECT, the location is WONDERFUL, the food EXQUISITE, the waiters fantastic, and Joseph and Elizabeth have been exactly complied with our every request, from set-up, music and entertainment! We have not had even a guest that has not said to be was beautifully. Evening fun and memorable which will always remain indelible in our hearts.

Very nice staff a little less… Villa Margherita is situated in the middle of nature and the sea and this makes you experience a special experience regarding the hotel rooms etc. They're pretty clean. Staff are not up to the hotel also screaming and arguing in front of customers, they don't have a uniform and they are unprofessional and ungainly … Too bad.

I was at margherita villa for the wedding of a dear friend of mine great friendly personal location. The very young manager always present to see that everything was in order. Really great food and in large quantities. Pool by the sea and what not. To try absolutely.

I got married in this restaurant and overall it was nice. At some point they practically evicted us from the hall under the guise of the sleeping hotel guests. The waiters were not ptofessional in many respects. We paid for services that unfortunately we could not fully structure on the best day of our lives.

BEAUTFUL GETAWAY! Villa Margherita has everything! Amazing view over the ocean and literally 30 seconds to the beach. Friendly staff, free parking and tasty food from the restaurant. We were really pleased about our stay that we decided to stay one more night. You don’t want to miss this place!

We had absolutely the most amazing stay at the Villa Margherita! The property is stunningly beautiful — the garden is so peaceful and relaxing and perfect for spending a quiet afternoon. And the staff is so attentive and helpful — they were always available to answer any questions and help to arrange our daily activities. We arranged in-house massages which were so needed after several days on the road. And the food is so divine! We loved the variety in the breakfast options every morning and we enjoyed a delicious steak and fish dinner paired with the perfect wine! We absolutely loved our room — it was huge and the bed was oh so comfortable. We can't recommend the Villa highly enough!

The location is OK, but the restaurant is very poor in quality and service, the room I used was full of dust. Only valid as B&B no more.

What a beautiful place! A Tuscan villa located on the seaside and transformed into a hotel. The rooms are not brand new but it is part of the setting and it does not stop to spend a pleasant stay. The food is delicious, the à la carte cuisine offers choices of excellent dishes and prepared with first-choice foods. The view from the pool and balcony from the floor is superb. You can admire beautiful sunsets. The staff is more than friendly and very attentive. They love children like everywhere in Italy and they are in small care. This property is well located and is not very far from the centre of Livorno. The cities of Firenze, Sienna and Pisa are not very far away either and deserve much attention. Renting a car is best to visit this part of Tuscany from this place.

Loved this place! The home to my wedding. The villa, the workers and the location are absolutely stunning! We came all the way from Australia and Villa Margherita definitely made it worth the trip! I can't explain how perfect they made my special day! Rooms are beautiful, food is amazing and the pool is Devine. Highly recommend it!

This is an address we love. A hotel like in the years 60! Which is also busy to be tastefully restored. Location is beautiful with a very nice view. The restaurant is really nice and good! We spent seven years there every year!

Hotel with an exceptional location, sea view, numerous terraces or quiet tanning and resting areas. The pool with sea view is very nice, a little fresh in early May.
The main building is being renovated but the services are already quality and very pleasant (fully renovated bathroom and tastefully decorated room).
Very nice staff, always at the disposal of the guests of the establishment, he does not hesitate to try to communicate in French.
In the new restaurant, the dishes are very well served, beautiful quantity and quality according to the reputation of Italian products, choice varied and diverse.
Close to Gare (5 min walk) to visit Florence, Livorno, Pisa and Siena by train.
Negative Points:
— Wi-Fi connections are in great difficulty… none in the room or at the pool (available only in the restaurant room and on the first terrace)
— The hotel organizes events (weddings, communion, baptism) and this can be a disadvantage if you seek peace and quiet, the staff are less available and the access to the terraces are reserved by the guests of the organized event.
-Swimming pool and Jacuzzi not very clean, certainly due to the beginning of the season (early May)

We only spent one night here but the room was amazing, great view of the ocean, the breakfast was awesome too. Hopefully we can stay here again when we are in the area.

Very well renovated hotel. By the seaside. There are some islands including Corsica on a clear day. Hearty and delicious meals. Breakfast is excellent.

The particular food. New starters and fine the former are no news with abundant second fare but with fresh seafood prosecco drinking bottle and pleasant courteous service. Ottavio sea views. Experience to be repeated.

My wife and I stayed there in summer. Very stylish property, although feels a little neglected, especially the garden. I guess the owners know that they can get away with that because the location, the view, the service, the food — everything is excellent (that is why I'm not even taking anything off the 5 stars). The 1st impression was especially great: you walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor (they do have an elevator though), then down the corridor towards the balcony, and then for a few seconds everything you see is the deep blue of IL MARE! The staff was great too. We got back to the hotel past 11 pm one night, kitchen was closed and they were about to leave, but when we asked for tea they stayed behind and made us some. Restaurant: prices more than reasonable for the quality. One evening we had the squid stuffed with quinoa and pine nuts, served with orange sauce — probably the best seafood dish we ever had! We would definitely return if we were to stay in that area again. P. S. One of the recent reviews indicates that some renovations may have been done, so I guess this place may look even better now.

These guys are going out of their way to be great. We had a lovely room with a view over our balcony to the pool and the ocean beyond for a great price. Our family room was huge and lavishly appointed. We ate in the restaurant and the food was tasty and well priced. When their renovations are done they're going to get plenty of five star reviews.
