A wonderfully relaxing holiday on new year's eve with a dog experienced! Great, spacious room with a view directly on the lake. The food was delicious, the service team very friendly. Because the goodbye was quite difficult. Many thanks for everything! Non vedo l'ora di tornare!

A great short break in a wonderfully warm atmosphere and a beautifully designed ambience. Our Suite was terrific. The Hotel is located directly at the Montiggler lake and so wonderfully quiet. Also our dogs were delighted, We are happy to come back! Many thanks for everything!

Cool location with a very nice view over the lake. Rooms where clean and beautiful. Good food and delicious coctails.

Great place. Also for foot sufferers within 10 minutes convenient to reach.

However, in my opinion, the price of performance is not right.
The portion of the ordered food was very small and therefore already a disappointment when serving. In terms of taste, good, it is too high in price.
Even with the ice cream sundaes, the high price did not fit the quality.

Very nice rooms, very clean and modern. We have had good experience with the staff and the owner family last year and this year. All very accommodating and friendly!

Café: had to wait over 20 minutes before able to order. Service not as good as expected.

Bar/Restaurant: Unfortunately bewarheitet the bad reputation of local with lots of running clientele. The service from start to finish totally disorganized, it is difficult to get a menu, to place the order, extras like a second glass to the water or ketchup to the fries are repeatedly forgotten after multiple recalls. To pay you will be asked to wait, pay with card is possible on the terrace Anscheinendbnicht and the lady at the bar has after the waitress of service reminded you twice the here customers to pay with card waiting for us clearly audible said : "They have to be patient for 5 more minutes".
Overall, everyone is stressed, annoyed and somewhat overwhelmed with chaos.
The food would not even be so bad, but such a mess already in the pre-season means nothing good for the summer of 2018. For those who have sometimes returned to the Monticolo lake in the previous years knows the chaos already…
A pity because according to me, customer satisfaction with a little more organization and friendliness would be very easy to increase.

Poor service, totally disorganized as well as unfriendly.

Incompetent waiters who forget orders, after 30 minutes of waiting and on the second attempt to attract their attention, we got up and left. Even the staff inside rude and hasty. If you want to sit without consuming, the view is very beautiful. Disappointment.

After a 1/2 hour the first operation was over. A quarter of an hour later we were allowed to order, with the comment of the service, hopefully this is still it is already 13.30 o'clock. After another half hour, the food came. The drinks came after the meal and at the same time the invoice, with the statement of the operation (foreign) It has the end of service and must settle. Another table next to us with children waited an hour and then went back without drinks and food. Madness is not worse!

Location of the bar really very nice with umbrellas view Lake Monticolo. We took sweets which unfortunately were not very fresh and the service was not the most accurate. I was there a couple of years ago and it was much better. Now it seems a bit decaying and it is a pity given the location and potential turnout of tourists. To recommend however the route around the lake that is always suggestive.

Amazing location hidden away from civilisation. Very friendly staff. Good food and very accommodating to special requirements. German is the main language here, but you'll get by with English too. There is a beautiful dock where you can rest or take a row boat onto the little lake. The hotel will also rent you mountain bikes for free. They are great for exploring the forests around the hotel and even into the surrounding wine region. Just be aware that the route back to the hotel is a long uphill.
