I had the pleasure of staying at this property, what to say, everything taken care of in detail! Comfortable rooms, delicious spa, staff attentive to every single need of the customer. In particular I thank Elena and Simone who with their availability and their sympathy have made everything perfect. Super recommended!

The location is definitely great being a short walk from the Massimo theatre, unfortunately the room did not satisfy the stay. It looked like a closet, located on the 7th floor overlooking the fire stairs! Travelling with my little dog obviously the thing penalized me in the room. Breakfast is great and varied, friendly room staff.
Will I be back? I don't think so.

I honestly expected better.
We booked a double specifying that we had a small dog. In my opinion because of this transparency we found ourselves in a room shaty and tiny.
Extremely positive only note the breakfast great, plentiful and varied.

Unfortunately the front desk staff were rude and disinterested when first came to hotel but the breakfast was nice. I did tell the front desk when we were leaving about the two bad things in the room we had. Thankyou for your response much appreciated.

Very good 3 star hotel with a rooftop pool. It's about a mile (pleasant) walk from the main sights in the centre of Ortigia but opposite the Roman amphitheatre. Parking is secure and free. Close to parks, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Tears and the San Giovanni Catacombs.

Good hotel. Location easily accessible. Clean. Very personal employed, all professional. Careful and discreet waiters. Really wide choice breakfast with several regional products marked, very good cakes and even in July presence of oranges. To be recommended.

Clean hotel, large room, TV even with Sky channels. Breakfast with cottage cheese and mini cannoli to be filled at the moment, baked cassata and then all the classic sweet salty sample, all of good quality. No courtesy kit is provided so bring your slippers and I cotton buds. I recommend rooms from floor 6 up (there are 8 floors). There are bus stops a few tens of meters away (e. G. The 104 to go to the Palatine Chapel). The hotel converts I 2nd per day of the resort fee into a voucher to spend at their bar or restaurant.

Hotel all you'd expect from 4*. Staff very polite professional helpful. But hotel long way from centre and tourist sites and very noisy 24/7 from traffic on main road and ambulances to/from nearby hospital.

Hotel location really close to the Greek Anphitheater and to Ortigia island. Modern building. Room (I had the Executive room) clean and wide. Staff nice and available. Very nice landscape available from the roof floor (with swimming pool). Noted the missing of the slippers provided by the hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hotel for two months in a working period in Siracusa. Somewhere I ended up calling home when I was off work, thanks to the staff. There is a friendly and happy atmosphere and always a smile from all the staff. The reception staff who are the first to meet are always smiling and incredibly helpful. Especially Umberto who gave a warm welcome when I arrived and the best farewell my stay was over. The rooms are big and modern and perfectly cleaned every day. Pool area, reception, outdoor areas, bar and restaurant cleaned every day. Breakfast perfect there is everything you need and more to and excellent food in the restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and sights. There is only about 20 minutes walk to Ortigia. There is great parking at the hotel. This is a hotel I will definitely return to on vacation. I can highly recommend this hotel. I can only give five stars here, but the staff deserve ten big stars. ********** :-)

Strategic location to visit the city. Modern and very pleasant style. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and nice and functional bathroom. But among the things that I enjoyed the most is definitely the buffet breakfast with every well of God! including ricotta cheese to make itself at the time of the exquisite Sicilian cannoli. Price in line with the level of the hotel is services. Interesting the promotion of a voucher of €2 to be spent at the bar as a refund of the tourist tax.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. It is a very good hotel located in the center near all the historical sites of cultural tourist interest. Good breakfast is great the restaurant is service, always impeccable.

Definitely the worst Mercure I have stayed at in over 20 countries. Unfriendly and incompetent staff. Room and sheets dirty. The location is pretty reasonable.

Modern hotel in central area, very close to archeological area, Greek Theatre, museum, Madonna of Tears sanctuary. Very good level, well finished and with a nice rooftop pool. Ortigia is at 1, 5 km, you go on foot.

Great value for money, very friendly and helpful staff. Love the large room and bathroom! Only downside was the strong smell of room deoderizer. A lot less would be a lot better.

Good place to stay. The service is corresponding to 4 stars. Breakfast is average, but more fresh vegetables are preferrable.

The location is great. Breakfast was good. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious. Subjectively for me it is bad that carpeting on the floor in the room and many curtains, it is difficult to breathe.

Very comfortable Hotel for the center with very nice large rooms.

Prices to hang out around the hotel are not real. Tried to get a room on site for several weeks and even the platinum status and the view of a long occupancy of the rooms was completely uninteresting. Short holiday tourists pulling the money out of their pockets is clearly preferred… thanks for nothing.

Very clean Hotel, international breakfast but with local breakfast corner (cannoli, freshly squeezed) restaurant inside good at honest price.

My standard room was very spacious. The hotel itself, especially the corridors, may use a little renovation, but still it's OK and it's well located.

Rooms were very clean. Great staff, good breakfast buffet, decent fitness room (both cardio and weight equipment). Option for free open parking or paid covered parking. 25-30 min walk to Ortigia island/tourist areas.

Good location and very close to the sights to visit. And especially it is 5 minutes walk from the shuttle bus that connects the airport. 11 Euros l go back, ticket that you can buy directly on the bus several regular and fast shuttles. Until midnight. We. Arrived at 10.30 pm and 30 minutes after we had arrived at the stop Politeama close to the hotel. The. Driver informs you of your stop at. Micro! The. Quiet room and good comfort with the fridge every day filled with fresh water or various bobbin. The. Staff is really very pleasant. The breakfast buffet is great varies and good quality.

Very clean, modern rooms. Staff is aufwerksam and very friendly. Hotel is centrally located in Palermo city. All sights can be reached easily by foot. The breakfast was very good. In the evening there are small appetizers/tapas at the bar. The WLAN was working properly. One point I have to deduct because the temperature in the room was very warm (winter) and did not let itself settle.

The room was tiny as… and extremely hot. The parking available was rediculous (close… just across the road) as you needed to give them 1/2 a day notice when you need the car. The rooms were clean but just not that comfortable. Sorry.

Staff very nice hotel located very well. A very obvious flaw is the lack of private parking I walked around for more than 2 hours to find a parking lot. In the room the curtains are really bad in the morning as soon as the sun rises the customer can get up because the light comes in abundance! Ahhh I forgot very noisy!

Standard tourist and business hotel. The central location is quite convenient and the staff are helpful and friendly. The buffet and breakfast room are adequate and the rooms are fine. Overall, a reliable standard choice.

Great Hotel, very nice server. By cons The pool is not heated and there is no sauna. Paid Spa, fitness room. This hotel is located on a busy street, so very noisy. The rooms are however well soundproofed.

Beautiful SPA! Very clean. Very friendly staff A place of absolute relaxation… Between scents of spices, and citrus. Excellent herbal teas. Fresh fruit. To try! Great place!

Lovely hotel — friendly attentive staff — spent a week here — loved the pool OK it was late September — so never an issue getting a seat around the pool. Great, helpful barman — Andreas — had a drink / cocktail there every evening. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Bars & restaurants nearby but for €10 or 35 minute walk, you can go to Ortega where you will be spoilt for choices of restaurants etc. Try Olivia Natural Bistro if you just want a good meal locally — 2 minutes from the hotel.

The location was very convenient, right at the limit of the ZTL, the room was quiet, clean and quite nice. The staff was friendly and willing to help.

Nice restaurant, roof pool…, close to antique theatr, modern and renovated rooms.

This hotel is really ok except two things breakfast room lacks of space when hotel is full and there is NO IRON at all available. I understand Italian law about that but you can make iron available to guests by simply having it at the reception. This is 4* and I don't understand how business clients can use this hotel while not being able to iron the clothes.

Tiny room though clean … my room window overlooked an inner walkway — didn't feel safe. The hotel appears to be made up of a couple of buildings connected as an after thought. The AC in the room wasn't working when I first came in… the technician had to be called in twice before it was fixed. The breakfast buffet was good.

Hotel located at the entrance of the city. Location easy to find. Well-appointed room. Breakfast on the 7th floor with small pool and panoramic view. Free outdoor parking and paid basement parking.

My parents stayed at the hotel last week. They were there for emergency reasons (injury to my father on cruise ship, requiring debarkation) — the hotel staff was exceedingly polite, empathetic, helpful, responsive and gracious. Their support came at a tough time for my Dad and family, and we are very grateful.

Good location away from the busy tourist crowds but very close walking distance to the famous Greek theatre and archaeological museum. 20-25mins walk to the Ortegia area where you'll find many other historical and cultural sights as well as numerous restaurants to choose from. Rooms were clean, spacious and well decorated; car park on site with plenty of spaces. Very quiet hotel/area so you can sleep in peace, attentive staff ready on call. If I could fault the hotel in any way it would be that I would have liked non herbal tea made available in the room e. G. Earl Grey or any black tea option, but I'm sure had I simply asked the hotel would have provided.

Very good hotel… great staff… very clean every area of the hotel. The pool is nice too… breakfast very good especially the cakes! … just 30mins to Ortigia… supermarket very close to hotel… and a lot to see :) would recommend to everyone!

Very Good Hotel. I use it frequently for business and I find service, cleaning and care of the rooms at the correct level.

Not much charm but modern, clean and functional accommodation in good location. Good breakfast buffet with whole table of sweets. Highlight was fill-your own cannoli. No tea making facilities in room.

Cheap room, basic and lacking in views but cant complain. Free breakfast with a decent selection. Room cleaned daily, with well kept bathroom facilities. Wifi excellent and trouble free. Whilst some lack English, the staff at reception are excellent and will go out their way to help you out and phone italian businesses on your behalf, as well as advising on bus routes etc. Overall a good stay and would happily stop again.

Fantastic. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional and I can say that Mr Piazza Umberto was really nice and welcoming that make us be of repeat guests. This means customer loyalty.

Modern style hotel, a 7-story structure. In the basement there is the spa, but I have not visited.
Breakfast is served on the top floor and offers a very wide choice between pies, cakes, croissants, and even breakfast continentate. In summer you can also find almond granita and brioche.
On the same floor as the pool is located outside on the terrace, with sunbeds for sunbathing.
The room includes classic shampoo, soaps but also various creams for body toothbrush and toothpaste.
Only niggles not so great TV, sky and in some cases placed behind the mirror, and the outlets are only front rack of the bed and not on the sides of the bed, which I find most comfortable for your mobile phone.

Great hotel lovely and clean and very central. We stayed in four families really ok, if we're going to look for some particular: 1) SLOW ELEVATOR noisy.
2) scale in alternative, not all, height of lift, hotel.
3) the color of fire protection doors made her think of being all, hospital.
Otherwise everything excellent.

Excellent location and excellent quality. The welcome from the staff is very good and just after a few minutes to check in will receive a chip key to access your room. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and modern, nice design-based and researched if somewhat "cold", the quality and cleanliness of the rooms is very good especially the one chosen furniture. The double bed is quite comfortable although two twin beds complemented each other and that the only thing to scold, the blankets are adequate and heat up very well. The furnishings in the room and this is very accurate and detail, the room consists of a bed, an armchair, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe and a large desk.
The bathroom is spacious and clean, stocked with every need (towels, SOAP, shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, toilet paper) and also the choice of modern furniture is in line with the general health of the room, very pretty even the shower made only by glass (not very pleasant smell the bathroom just entered the room the first time).
Also lighting is adequate, there are many lights all controllable from General switch places in the most comfortable of the room (from a bedside table you can control almost the entire room). There are also many accessories that make for a comfortable stay as glassware, bar fridges, paper and pen, cards for the port. Breakfast served in the room was ample and of good quality.

My experience at the hotel overall was decent if there had not been the experience of television, and in the wrong room. My 9 year old son used at home with SKY the first thing he does got to my room at 23:00 to fall asleep as it does at home takes the remote and starts to look at the programs unaware that if you wanted to see a film deception wax was payment. In the morning when I heard that key cerano riconsegnavo $21, 00 (15, 00) to pay for an internet connection ever made then I explained that it wasn't an internet connection but the TV a movie $21, 00 and then feel rebuked that I had to read the rules in the room (when I got the wrong year to give me room, double bed with a double made me change of room after nearly three quarters dora then I was distracted to read the regulations) and in addition the recepcion rebuked me that my son had taken the remote, I thought a lot about this thing that meant the clerk at the Bureau that with that kind of TV my son could stumble in genre films hard! usually at other hotels when you go in the movies there are several steps and permissions from the reception.
Me seemed like when you buy a plane ticket on the cheap and are then many quibbles long story cost.

At 5 minutes from the Centre and ortigia.

I stayed at the Mercure for 3 nights on a business trip and I found myself very well.
The hotel is in a pretty good location for Ortigia, which is reached by 5, maximum 10 minute drive. Very convenient free parking outside the hotel.
The assigned room was small but very clean and nicely decorated; same thing for the bathroom, where everything was perfect.
Breakfast is continental, varied and plentiful and served at 6° floor with French Windows leading to the terrace (with pool) offer a pleasant view of the entire Syracuse and surroundings: breathtaking at dawn.
Definitely a great experience.
