Review of Alba Marina B&B 3*

If you are looking for a quiet place, clean, family run, managed by people smiling, and welcoming to the hand, then this delightful B&B is the right place for you. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with warm wood furniture made in the carpentry workshops of the family. The structure is well-organized, with a pleasant courtyard and a small orange grove on the back, attezzato with areas, laundry and barbecue available to guests. There is also a functional courtesy room where you take a shower and leave The luggage on the day of departure. The breakfast is served on the terrace with views of the sea and mount Hood. The breakfast is hearty and genuine: the lovely mother of the owner indulging every morning preparing cakes delicious. No shortage of fruit, juices, and delicious savoury options such as mini arancini, bread cunzatu, cheese, olives, all locally produced. The owner, Nino, is a golden boy, nice, friendly, helpful and a great worker! Will welcome you with warmth and will give you lots of useful information on the area: where to park, eat and what to visit. The girls who help with breakfast and deal with cleaning it are very kind and do an excellent job. The property is located in Castelluzzo, a strategic position to visit the wild beaches of the area (in my opinion the best), San Vito lo Capo, Scopello, Zingaro nature Reserve, Reserve of mount Cofano, Trapani and the saline, mozia, Segesta and Selinunte, Macari, Custonaci, and the Bay Cornino, Erice and the Egadi islands. A recommendation:absolutely need the machine to move, even if Castelluzzo has everything (bar, bakery, restaurants, grocery, etc…) the nearest beach is at least 1Km. Rely on the structure of the Alba Marina, Nino and family senirete at home and enjoy the proverbial sicilian hospitality in this corner of Sicilia bedda!
