Among the forests of the Piedmont Hills where peace and tranquillity reign supreme, there is the Silkworm, which is managed by the owners and their son with his wife. Really friendly people; Simply good home cooking. Breakfast a little poor but genuine with homemade cake and jam. The only drawback was the intense heat of these days that forced us to sleep with open windows without mosquito nets, so we were literally devoured by mosquitoes!

After a trip in the pouring rain, we were greeted by a warm and familiar atmosphere. Beautiful room, the stone wall and brick very particular. We decided to stay for dinner and enjoyed delicacies at zero km. After a restful night, a breakfast of artisanal jams gave us the right charge. Staff very friendly and helpful, characteristic furnishings and styled with context, optimal location.

This past weekend we reached Manta to spend two days relaxing at the farm. The property is surrounded by greenery and allows you to rediscover the peace and quiet while not far from the town. We found the kindness and courtesy of the owners when we arrived. The room, great and functional, has been restored by enhancing the existing structure for a few centuries. We had dinner at the farmhouse enjoying the products of their land and expertly cooked by the owner who creates art with extraordinary dishes and delicate taste (you eat very well without feeling weighed down). Her husband shows, illustrating with interest, the property from them. Not least just breakfasts, excellent and abundant. You can taste their homemade jams (of various taste) savoring also the amazing tarts. Everything we offer is genuine. To cultivate products that then you need for lunch and dinner. The farm is also great for the kids that I can enjoy carefree surrounded by unspoilt nature. In our opinion it's certainly worth a try at least once in their lifetime. Certainly will return. It was a great holiday. Thanks again to the owners for the kindness and courtesy that lend themselves in everything they do for their guests.
