Wonderful small boutique hotel directly on the Laggo Maggiore. We spent a night there end of July / beginning of August 2014. The following especially we liked:
Location:
From all the hotels in Cannero Riviera none is closer to the Lake, the hotel Arancioamaro. Between the hotel and Lake's are not more than 3 metres — and they are used by the restaurant. Tip: when you check equal to a table for dinner right on the lake reserve.
Interior Design:
Who was responsible for the interior design, here was someone at work, understands his craft. There's no Kitch and no pomp, but a good balance of Art Nouveau romanticism and Scandinavian minimalism and closeness to nature. Only the white stained wooden floors give a wonderful feeling one. Walking barefoot in his room one has the feeling you walk on a boat dock.
Rooms:
We stayed in the junior suite on the Lake. Beautiful, spacious and light-flooded rooms. Very tastefully decorated. Not too much – not too little. So that enough space remains and you can actually also some air to the breathing has. The room has two highlights: 1) the bathroom: large, bright and top. With a waterfall shower in a super large shower stall. (2) the balcony on the sea side: He is not tall, offers two people but enough space to enjoy the magnificent view over the Laggo Maggiore at a reception. Because the entire hotel so extremely close to the edge of the Lake, you float on the balcony more or less directly on the edge of the Lake.

A small but carefully selected and cooked with local food menu. Highly recommended: The pork tenderloin — and of course fish.
