Super location with magnificent terrace and garden. Impeccable service and very kind staff… that I would say then of the owner… Top!

Very clean. Breakfast is prepared with care. Nice and helpful staff.

We stayed for one night in the hotel, which was enough. The staff is very nice but the rooms are old, bright and the beds are permeated.

Magnificent place on Lake Como, Cernobbio the third Crotto in my opinion and one of the best restaurants in the whole province.
Excellent reception and the intimate and reserved environment suitable for a business dinner as well as for an outing in sweet company.

Very nice small hotel with only 8 rooms. Room was clean. Unfortunately, there was no wardrobe for the coats. The restaurant has a good reputation but relatively high prices. For us Germans, the usual Couperta of €4 is getting used to in Italy. The breakfast was very good for Italian conditions but there was only toast.

Good food looked after prices a little high great environment.

Nice place in Cernobbio, a few steps from the lake, the discreet eating, a little pricey but nice experience.

Lovely place to stay for a weekend getaway! Rooms are small but nice and clean. The bathrooms are huge. Staff is very friendly! Didn't try the restaurant for dinner (yet). Will definitely stay there again.

Location very quiet and relaxing while being a few steps from the center. The staff is very helpful The restaurant is noteworthy; I tasted non-trivial dishes very cared for in the flavors and presentation… it was a long time I wanted to go but I waited for a special occasion.

A family hotel as I like them. With a certain character. Comfortable and clean room. A very spacious bathroom a great welcome. Very good breakfast. To recommend. Don't hesitate to eat at the hotel restaurant. It's very good, the service is good too. The Pannacota, a bomb.

4 Stars well-deserved excellent cuisine.

The hotel is a piece of history and has a nice garden but everything inside is old. The breakfast is not very good. I had the occasion to visit a colleague staying at hotel centrale, it was far better.

Rissoto, the rissoto, the rissoto… THE BEST EVER! BRANZZINO was really good too.

We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Terzo Crotto in Cernobbio and loved it. The building is spectacular from the outside, particularly the restaurant patio and facade. Breakfast was included and we spent each morning on the patio, waking up with the sun. Because of this, we didn't try the restaurant for dinner, though it was close enough to downtown Cernobbio as well as a relatively short drive to Como (15 min) and Tremezzo (40 min) to fully explore the dinning choices of the area. Breakfast was very nice with fresh made juices and fantastic, huge cups of fresh brewed espresso. There was also a selection of meat and cheese slices and rolls, eggs, and croissants to load up on energy for the day. We really began to feel like locals, sitting and relaxing on the terrace, sipping our second cups of cappuccino each morning. The rooms themselves were the only let down. They were in no way bad, just didn't quite live up to the expectation set by the exterior of the building and the restaurant. I would say only that they were spartan. The bed was comfy, water pressure was great, and most importantly, the AC actually cooled down the room. With that, I really can't complain. Service was excellent and though we continually badgered them about our luggage the airline lost arriving, they also answered with a smile and even helped us place a call in Italian to the airline. Parking was also very convenient though difficult to figure out the first time.

Fantastic hospitality, comfort food and delicious.

Next to Terzo Crotto, there is "Residence Cernobbio". My evaluation is BAD! We paid 3 weeks but used only 2: awful bed, dirty rooms, unpleasent owners, expensive and unsecure. Shame to find such a bad accomdation in the nice COMO lake (full of nice hotels). PS: I did not try the restaurant /Hotel terzo Crotto.
