We thought the service was great and if weren't moving on would go there again. I had a seafood dish with pasta and it was delicious. The other two I was with had pizza — always too much but very good for lunch the next day. Dessert was good too as were the liquor store we had with it. Great atmosphere right on the lake.

My wife and I recently visited Lake Como and stayed in the Hotel Orso Bruno and found it the perfect spot to unwind after a busy visit to Rome and Florence. The hotel is located in the small town of Urio and has the ferry landing just outside of the front door. The hotel restaurant (Il Filo d'oloio) offers delicious food with a fantastic view of the lake. They also include a delicious breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit, homemade baked goods/breads, sliced meats & cheeses, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. The team working at Hotel Orso Bruno were very nice and offered recommendations for our short visit. Great little boutique place in a quiet part of Como, views of the lake, quick drive to Como (town).

Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Location quiet but nice. Hotel in need of updating. Has a nice Pizza restaurant attached but service is a little disorganised. The hotel is very convenient for the ferry and you can download an app which makes navigating Como a little easier. We chose a lake view room which was a little basic but the view was worth it. Ask about the beach area at the back of the church as this is a great place for some down time and a great place for a Sundowner (Spritz is only 2.50 there! ) As a base to explore this hotel is ok.

Beautiful place to stay. The room was clean and rather large, the bathroom was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the hosts were amazing in their hospitality.
The location is also pretty much perfect — a little up the lake, in a quiet area away from the tourist hotspots, so there isn't too much noise, but also close enough that it's not a trek to get to those hotspots. It also helps that the dock where the ferry stops (the stop is named "Urio") is LITERALLY across the road from the hotel.
If you do stay here, seriously eat at the attached restaurant "Il Filo d'Olio" — the mixed seafood dishes (there are two types) are both faultless, the wine is amazing and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
Couldn't have asked for more.

Very friendly staff, they went above and beyond. The restaurant was actually very good, with a nice selection of meals and a great pizzeria. Good location with a ferry stop right in front! Good parking, but book prior. Our room nice and big with a lake view. I highly recommend this place.

A nice stay. We enjoyed the lake view — and the food was pretty good. The owners are a young couple who are attentive to your needs. We had the quad room and it was nice, with pretty good air conditioning. The quad room separates the two rooms and has one room with queen and the other with two singles. Enjoyed.

Although we actually did not stay at the hotel, as we have rented a house down the street. We did eat at the hotels restaurant several times during the week, the hotel was patient and accommodating to English-speaking people. We did walk through the hotel to get to the restaurant, and it seemed very clean and intimate. The family that runs the hotel is very kind.

Small Hotel on Lake Como well located, quiet and soothing. Friendly, non-invasive and correct restaurant and the competitive price/quality ratio. The room was clean, quiet, with comfortable bathroom. Nothing to say — very good and pleasant place to spend their vacation.

Lovely place. I speak of the restaurant where I have always enjoyed an excellent risotto with perch.

Sweet small personal hotel on the shore of Lake Como. Great value.

As pizza restaurant we only tried the pizza and is very good. I am a lover of pizza and this one I liked a lot.
As hotel excellent value for money, great location, clean, helpful owners and turn x. The only criticism is the private car park in front of, only three places that I've never had any problems with it.
