Beautiful hotel, Seaview room with balcony superb. Staff superb, friendly and knowledgeable. Would say 4* leading hotel of the world and I'd prefer tea/coffee facility in the room in this day and age! Also ironing facilities.
But we'd come back to beautiful hotel in fantastic setting, thank you.

Nothing better than this in the area or anywhere for that matter. Service is great and facilities are likewise. Stunning views of the magnificent coastline from almost everywhere. Delicious breakfasts, lunches by the pool, as well as dinners on the terrace. Family owned and run and reflected in the feeling of the experience. We return as often as possible.

Beautiful hotel. Incredible views, great pool and grounds. Rooms are fantastic, very clean and elegant. Service is the only borderline 5 star component of this hotel as they appear to be a bit understaffed at times. Overall though, an amazing hotel that is definitely worth staying at while on vacation.

TERRIBLE SLEEPING EXPERIENCE I would like to underline that all the staff is very kind, however: Tiny room, queen bed, for two people is claustrophobic Small bathroom as well Pillows are terrible: either too hard like stones or too swollen with synthetic foam Curtains do not black out at all. Sea view rooms are penalized by street noises starting at 6 am! I have discussed this and they believe they have proper windows. Price of a double room like at Hotel The Carlyle, five stars hotel in Hotel New York where Woody Allen plays the clarinet with his band. A lovely show.

The Grand Miramare is a stunningly beautiful hotel which has world class charm and spectacular views of Santa Margherita and the Mediterranean Sea. It is an older hotel with marble staircases and superior service. The grounds of the hotel were perfect for a wedding we attended as guests in June. If you haven’t traveled to Santa Margherita, you are missing a true seaside gem with its lush greenery and flowers and stunning landscape. The colorful buildings and homes along the sea are like a painters palette. They have valet parking, but to get around, walking is ideal. They also have water taxis.

Love it its beautiful the service is great and the personal are respect full and theyll take care instantly if you ask for anything and they are always aware if you need something. Great place to stay.

Italian Elegance and tradition.

Top Hotel of Santa Margherita Ligure: Not very central location but directly on the sea and a few dozen meters from the small marina. Good Level convention center even if not overlooking. Behind the structure (vintage, with a wide staircase) a charming and reserved garden. Available large swimming pool and private beach.
Prices certainly not cheap. But… noblesse Noblesse.

Overlooking the sea, it also has a magnificent garden.
The rooms are spacious and cozy.
Very comfortable and large beds.
Huge bathroom with every comfort.
The service is excellent.
Private parking is available.

This was truly an awesome experience. When we arrived at check-in were given extremely helpful guidance that was beyond what we expected. This set the tone for the experience going forward. The hotel and our room was classic Italian riviera (at least our impression of it) and we loved it. The bed was extremely comfortable, the views were awesome, and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic and the service made you feel like a truly valued guest. Amazing. Within walking distance of everything. What more can I say. It was an incredibly memorable experience and I recommend it 100%!

Hotel with a strategic location on the sea, all the staff were courteous, professional, and kind. We had the chance to have a room with a sea view, and only that, is worth the trip. A restaurant with a Chef at the height of the place. Parking in front of the Hotel. We loved it and we will be back.

This hotel is in the perfect location & while the hotel itself is very nice the bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in! It was so bad I ended up taking Advil before bed in hopes I would not wake up in as much pain! We had a beautiful corner suite with two terrace but that couldn’t make up for the bed! As far as the staff, we found the staff in the restaurant to be nice and helpful but the front desk staff not so much. We asked about dinner reservations &… also about chartering a boat and they acted like it would be a big stretch for them to help. After two weeks in Italy and a few different hotel stays we were not treated this way at any other hotel. Unless they change out their beds, I would not recommend this hotel if you want to relax and get a good night sleep, which is a real shame. Beautiful property in a picture perfect location but sadly this was the one hotel we were happy to check out of!

Great ambience and great hotel. Doesn't need much to get to 5*. Maybe wider elevators (double stroller did not fit in).

The Hotel is located on the beach, very small street between the property and the beach, private Beach access, guaranteed sun beds for all hotel guests, great Breakfast Buffet (the extra charges for omelette was a disadvantage), rate reasonable, the landscape is huge well taken care of, the pool area is very luxury, quiet, the rooms on both sides (Sea and Garden view) are excellent, the view is always nice, the hotel is super clean, the rooms are very much clean, quiet, no noise from the street at all, as a standard in the area no coffee machine or kettle for hot water are placed in the rooms, the mattress is very comfortable, the Air-condition was a bit noisy though, the overall stay was excellent Location is magnificent, convient to everywhere, santa Margherita is 3 minutes away from Portofino old city, public paid parking is 30 meters away from the Hotel, you can always ask the concierge to park it for you and bring it as much as you want Very much recommended Hadi Awde.

Wonderful wonderful heaven on earth! Great hotel, great location, incredible scenery, wonderful restaurant and the most amazing, super attentive staff that made us feel like a queen and a king! Great place that I would totally recommend to everyone and would return myself… loved it!

My wife and I have stayed twice. Each time it was a great experience. Lovely rooms, beautiful surroundings, great food and impeccable service. I rate it highly. Great location. Near cinque terra and Portifino. Santa Margrietta is a wonderful city. Small, accessible, picturesque. Gibson Lanier.

Our retreat for weekend of spring and autumn when the riviera is sweeter. Sweet as the pleasure of finding a wonderful place like Miramar. Elegant and charming without being stiff, where for cleanness and order excelled approaches the pleasure to be received as friends rather than customers by a highly professional staff. How not to stay warm and cheerful ways of finally delighted by Fabrizio, the maitre d ' of this jewel of the Ligurian riviera?
