the only downside was the restaurant, if you dont eat seafood not much choice, my steak was tough and tasteless, waited 30 minutes for dessert menu, in the end we gave up, left and found a fantastic gelato shop nearby.

Perfect place to get intimate with everything Genova. Get the suites with balconies looking out on Ferrari square. You’ll be glad you did. Fabulous breakfast everyday. Restaurant and room service staff are very nice. We stayed here for three weeks we liked it so much.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The Bristol is located on Via XX Septembre, right in the heart of the covered walkways of Genoa. Location is ideal for walking to the Brignole rail station for trips to Cinque Terre. The property is beautiful and enhanced by the central staircase. Check-in was prompt and pleasant. The staff is quick to share their knowledge of the area and make recommendations. We were also impressed how they quickly and effectively dealt with a minor housekeeping issue. The managers were very attentive. We will definitely return.

The hotel is well located, the first impression is quite bourgeois and beautiful. The room was disappointing — dark, all old, tired, on the curtains dust, on the towel was hair, space is small (increasing mirror — literally above the toilet). The windows overlook a narrow street, although when booking asked for a more or less decent view from the window. Of the pluses — very decent breakfasts, great choice and a beautiful restaurant. The restaurant as a restaurant (rather than a buffet) has not yet been used, but I think it is nice to be on the terrace in the evening. If we make it, we'll try.

Rooms vary greatly from renovated to 1980s style. None of the pics you’ll see show the old style room, so it’s misleading. If you’re okay with that gamble, then the hotel is otherwise fine. Breakfast is okay.

Very poor customer service before arrival Before booking my stay I had a simple question concerning parking @the hotel. That‘s why I send a message via Facebook Messenger. After 4 days without answer I asked my question by email again. Because there was no reaction from the so called „customer service“ within 3 weeks I booked another hotel with a staff that doesn‘t ignore their coming hotel guests. Now, 7 weeks later they replied via my FB message, just asking me to send an mail with my question! I travel a lot but I never ever have experienced such a poor service before.

Very central, historic and luxurious. At the height of its fame, the environment is classic and cared for. The staircase at the entrance constitutes practically an attraction that should be open to the public. The event we organized and held on the second floor was assisted by the hotel staff, impeccable. The spaces have been confirmed ideal for a Congress and a refreshment.

I don't know about the hotel, but I was celebrating my wife's birthday at their restaurant. It was just amazing, delicious, beautiful and top notch service. The price is average.

In the center of Genoa, convenient for strolling under the arcades and shopping in the various shops and to reach the port and the aquarium. Historical building, beautiful staircase that leads to the floors of the rooms. Great cleanliness, the rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. Excellent breakfast in variety and quality.

The Giotto restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Hotel Bristol is of a very good standard, both in the dishes and in the service-impeccable.

Along with my family we were at the Giotto restaurant inside the hotel. The ambience is elegant and cared for. The staff were very helpful and very friendly, but it was great. We ate well and also the choice of wines was satisfactory. Very much appreciated by my kids on the kids menu. Very interesting value for money.

Very well placed hotel but deplorable bedding! I asked for a first time to change rooms because of a strong continuous noise of ventilation, which was granted me with very little kindness. I did not dare to claim a second time for bed. Five nights with a mattress in a bowl! Unacceptable for any hotel, a fortiori for a 5 star! I said that I had taken a flight + hotel stay on the SNCF site and that the description mentioned "bedding of very good quality"…

Very bad hotel. From personal experience my bags were stolen and I did not receive a refund. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. You can't leave any luggage or bags at the reception because the hotel service is very bad and it is the hotel staff that steals. Bad service.

Four stars well deserved. Central location, the staircase is a something to see, a masterpiece. Qualified staff, cleanliness, education and courtesy are all around the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices and especially no one asked us to leave the room although we had arrived close to the closing and we had a long time well beyond the closing hours.

Great hotel in the heart of genes, very welcoming staff and very high-flying breakfast. Two faults however, the tiny elevator that serves the floors… And the exorbitant cost of €25 per night for parking. It's all recommandéde.

The nice entrance! To have 4 * I expected more! A little old for my taste, maybe it's time to do some tweaking no? Cmq this is a detail! The room is very comfortable, spacious, and very clean, great breakfast. To go back? Sure Yes.

Very nice but reasonably priced hotel in Genoa. Staff are all warm and welcoming, going the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They are very helpful, making great recommendations on restaurants, sights and logistics. Hotel restaurant is very nice, in a second floor solarium with nice views. Complimentary full breakfast in the morning fuels you up for a full day of activities, or just relaxing. Close to the old city center, this is always my first choice when staying in Genoa. Highly recommended!

I have awarded 5 stars because the hotel is nice, with a breathtaking central staircase, very nice staff, beautiful rooms but… stains on upholstery, mildew in shower, broken toilet seat? Pity especially for the reasons listed above and for a four star.

Very good situated, price per room is really fair (110 €, breakfast included). Rooms are in good shape and clean. Breakfast offers a wide choice, just a little too many people. Parking is really expensive with 27 € per night. But they offer walet service.

My hotel prefers Genova. Ideal location, parking nearby to park the car, absolutely huge rooms. Great breakfast Great when it's nice and the terrace is open. Stairs that go up in the floors are beautiful.

Went here for lunch. It's a nice and impressive hotel for sure. Food was nice and service was good. The only thing to complain was we had no inside-seats and it was under sweltering heat of 38 degrees plus!

Elegant hotel, welcoming service and located on the central Street Via XX September, many shops around and lively streets. Close to the subway and bus lines. Easy and quick to get to the station. Tastefully furnished rooms, comfortable beds, clean. Royal breakfast, hot chocolate with real chocolate, high quality. Cheap excellent value for money (€136 at night). Ideal for short stays and visits.

The stay in Bristol Palace was just amazing! Great location (very well located, on the main area (XX Settembre), close the shops. Rooms/ suits are quite huge by modern standards, bathrooms are pleasantly equipped. A beautiful hotel with great STAFF. And the price is very reasonable for a palace. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel right in the center! the breakfast is not good little varieties of dishes. My room needed some repairs! The AC unit control not working right also! The room is big, quiet. Bed is comfortable.

This hotel is architecturally stunning (staircase inspired the movie "Vertigo"), perfectly located, includes a superb full breakfast buffet, and is an excellent value. But really sets it apart is the staff. They are so helpful with any questions and offer excellent recommendations. The restaurant also has some of the best food in town.

This is a beautiful and elegant hotel in a fabulous central location. It has a very small frontage, so you have to look carefully to spot it initially. Our rooms were lovely and everything was spotlessly clean — bed extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished, air conditioning just right and bedlinen gorgeous. All of the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful. The buffet style breakfast is very comprehensive, caters well for gluten free diets and is served in an elegant room. Public car parks cost 22 Euros for 24 hours, so the hotels valet parking service is great value at 27 Euros for 24 hours.

Local in the centre of Genoa, a stone's throw from Piazza de Ferraris and the most important shopping street (via XX settembre). It is a historic hotel with a charm all its own. Magnificent the helical staircase above the reception. The rooms are classic but always well taken care of and clean. The breakfast buffet served on the second floor is great, very varied and complete. The hotel I prefer in the city centre…

The newly renovated 4 star Hotel Bristol Palace, Genoa is located in the historical centre near the Ducal Palace and the Carlo Felice Theatre. Great hospitality and restaurant Giotto.

Overall, excellent hotel, but there were a few unpleasant moments. Originally there were towels and it was very cold, the climate control system installed was at 20°.

Clean room. Good bathroom. The ceiling height is impressive) ) as in a Palace. Wonderful breakfast. With champagne) could not at dinner. Did not have in place any cooks or waiters) ) ) had to look for a restaurant in the district. Underground parking nearby-22 €.

Good hotel, Central located in the centre of Genova. In the area of the metro. Clean rooms and toilets, everyday cleaning. Breakfast ok enough choice. Staff is willing to help you if this is necessary. Traditional classic rooms, but hey, you are in Genova. This is where you came for. Staff speak English.

Stayed here August 09. Room and bathroom of good sizes and bed was a dream. Air con worked a treat. The buffet breakfast was something to behold. Coming from New Zealand this hotel will live forever in our minds. Fabulous.
