Loved this place. I had the Roma pass, but getting there early was the best idea. I was able to grab a lot of great photos without anyone around. The views both inside and outside of the castle were amazing. The best view was from the top. I would definitely say that this was one of my favorite places to go in Rome. It's worth the price getting in even if you don't have a Roma pass.

It'S A must see in Rome. Once inside you have the option to download a free application which at each point of the Castle offers an explanation in the desired language. Either in writing or with audio. Yes, forget about the Wifi of the place. It'S unfortunate. Use network data. Although you still lose time, it is finally discharged. If there was more time, I'd be sitting there with champagne ;)

I think this sight was the one I enjoyed most cause it wasn't so packed like the other ones and you still can see the history of the building. And it's kinda huge to discover all the areas. If I gonna go to Rome again I would definitely visit again.

It Is Worth seeing this magnificent millennial monument. The Tour is done with an app on the phone that explains pretty well. Well worth the tour completed. Many years of history. Recommended.

It'S a surprising place. Papal Residence in Luther's time. With good views to be well-centered in Rome and the Vatican. All a surprise you want to be preserved in such good condition.

Worth seeing castle right on the Tiber River. It is best to be there at 9 a. M. In the morning when the gates open. Then you can look at everything in peace. From above you have a great view of St. Peter's Basilica.

Here you can see what a fortress is. The Castel Sant 'Angelo, once papal protection — and retreat, is now a testament to monumental architecture. The festivities are walkable. Man can see the ramparts and old cannons. There is a nice café on the upper weirs.

A place steeped in history. Hadrian salutes. Too bad that this Tomb has been overbuilt. I would have liked to see it in its ancient romantic Beauty. But it's still impressive even now, considering the Walls are thousands of Years old. Every Roman Fan should have been here:-)

There was surprisingly little going on in the Castel Sant 'Angelo. With the Rome Pass you get into it quickly. Magnificent views of the city.

Admission is 14 euros for adults, children are free. Upstairs there is a cafe — you can have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful views of Rome. A lot of steps to go up — count your strength for this fitness! Recommend!

When I visited Rome, I was with the godfather, who had revisited the film Angels and Demons before visiting. Beautiful building with a lot of history in it. Structurally it is very beautiful, and the view from the top is imposing. The timetable is very spacious, the entrance fee is 14 euros but it is worth it. You can see from there the Vatican and several frescoes painted inside.

Surprisingly good! From the outside the castle looked intriguing and although we thought it might be a bit basic inside we felt we would give it a go hoping that the 14 Euro entrance fee would be worth it. It was! Far bigger than expected with the building superbly intact to really get the feel of how it was all those years ago. There’s a nice coffee shop with great views and the terrace on the top gives outstanding views of St Peter’s Basilica and the whole of Rome. Definitely worth a visit on your way to / from Vatican City for a history hit that’s a bit different to the others historical sites in the city.

Great views of the city, including the Vatican. Be prepared to walk up some stairs. Some interesting exhibits, but go for the photo ops. Seriously, it's a great place to get photos of the Tiber, picturesque bridges, and of the city in general. Not too crowded. Even has a bar/restaurant inside.

Excellent place to experience both Antique and Medieval Rome, the former Emperor Adrian Mausoleum is a very interesting place to explore. The itinerary is very well made and takes you from the medieval battlements and dungeons to the hallways of the emperor's tomb. The building was a papal residence so there are some very historically interesting places to see inside. The terrace cafe and the roof terrace are gorgeous places to spend a sunny day or an evening. Children entrance is free of charge. Do not mind with the suggested mobile app, it's hard to get it to work.

An interesting site, quite worth a visit. Great views of Rome from up top! Reduced price tickets for EU citizens 18-25, take advantage! Unfortunately most of the exterior spaces were closed due to snow at the time of my visit (50% off ticket price was fair). Nonetheless I was still able to enjoy a view of the Tiber from above and tour the Papal apartment. Fascinating from both an art and history viewpoint. Bundle up for a winter visit! The winds are strong and brisk on the upper levels!

They have several buildings, so depending on where they send you, you might be better or worse accommodated.
