Terrible security! my sister gave her shopping to the staff that told her they would put it in a safe place. Everything casually disappeared and no customer service, no CCTV. Chocking for a 5star.

Zero Stars 🌟 So disgusted to hear how my relatives have been treated after staying in your hotel during the week. They had property stolen whilst in the care of the hotel and received zero communication or customer service, with any attempts at communication ignored. When they eventually received communication today, the approach was rude and extremely unprofessional. I'm astounded that this is the level of customer care training from a 5* hotel. Guests be very aware of your property and don't let valuables out of your sight! Be warned! The last thing anyone wants to feel is Unsafe in their accommodation.

Hotel is lovely. Concierge snd hotel staff brilliant Restaurant is absolutely awful service. Wait ages for a menu. Don’t pour drinks for you. Forgot to bring an ash tray. Starters are bigger than mains. Don’t offer a wine list. Very quiet but very disorganised. Guess it’s due to COVID and struggling to get staff back but this is the only restaurant on the island so expect much better.

Very chic and classy place beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay at the San Clemente Palace for my daughter and son-in-laws wedding in August. From the gracious welcome from Selim and his warm welcoming staff, nothing could be faulted beginning to end, a very memorable experience. Mille grazie!

Incredible resort… really made our stay in Venice very special and memorable. Such a great sanctuary to get away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Would definitely recommend as a perfect spot to stay when visiting Venice. The staff were all incredible.

The staff makes us feel like we are their first and only priority. We feel like VIPs the way the staff treats us. Wonderful grounds, great amenities and superb service, food, drinks and accommodations. We will always be loyal to The Kempinski chain. Kudos to the front desk, Ladies in Red and Concierge. Valentina and Shaima deserve a special recognition.

Helpful staff. Nice grounds with great pool and Cabanas.
Restaurants are good. Wine and champagne lists are excellent. Breakfast dining outside is good but inside a bit like a canteen. Shame as the selection of foods is good.
Spa and gym are good facilities.
The reception staff and concierge were very helpful.

What an amazing stay at San Clemente Venice for Easter weekend! We loved the peace of private island away from crowds, short rides on our free shuttle boat to the center, incredible cuisine and wine selection in all hotel restaurants, big airy room overlooking Venice lagoon and great service from happy staff! Highly recommend to families with children, who can have fun in a pool, etc. Special thanks to Management and all the staff for delivering an unforgettable experience and not disappointing. Looking forward to come back soon!

Absolutely amazing! Great place to stay while visiting venice. A perfect getaway from the busy city. The food is exceptional and the staff is friendly and helpful! It's so nice here, it's tough to leave and its equally as nice as walking around Venice. Can't wait to stay here again!

A separate island, transport links with the city on schedule. A free tour of the Murano Glass Factory is free for guests.

‘The happy place”! A very nice couple we met here told us this is their “happy place” for them for several years now. As far as we’re concerned, we’ve fallen in love with our new happy place, too. The perfect place to be in Venice — away from the crowds, enjoying the silence and a nice day at the pool with our child and at the same time the city jus a boat ride away. This is relaxation pure. Staff is friendly, rooms are excellent — we really don’t want to leave again…

Wow what an experience, the ease of the airport transfer to the hotel by water taxi, the welcome from the staff, the comfort of my room, the boat transfer into Venice seamless… a special thank you to the GM and to Elio for making our dinner experience last night very special and to Piotr and Helen from Kempinski for the invite I cannot wait to come back.

Service is some of the worst I've ever experienced! You're better off staying at a Marriott. Everyone moves at a snail's pace! We waited 30+ min to receive a drink we ordered. Had issues with our room, and was told someone would call us with a solution, no one ever called. Way overpriced for what you get, not worth the money!

Heavenly place in a private island in Venice. We had truly amazing stay in this lovely hotel from arrival to the end. Staffs are very friendly, attentive and professional. The ground and the views from the hotel is beautiful. Everything was perfect and so lovely. Only small downside is having no kettle/tea/coffee maker at the room. They happily delivered a kettle when requested because I needed hot water for my sore throat but it would have been better already to have it in the room. Note: They have very nice complimentary shuttle boat between the hotel and San Marco square, every half an hour. The schedule looks every 20 and 50min but there is some slightly different running time along the way. For example, there is no boat service at 1:20pm probably having 1 hour lunch break for boat drivers and in the evening sometimes it runs 10min earlier or later making 40min. Gap between. We didn't pay close attention to this slight difference, and ended up missing the boat 2 times which lead to 30 min running late to our reservation to a restaurant or other schedule. Little reminder to guest to pay attention to this slight difference on schedule would be a nice touch, although I know it was completely our mistake not to pay attention :-)

The best hotel to stay in Venice. You can go to city by boat any time and if you like to enjoy the silence you can stay at the hotel/resort and have a great time by the pool. Its very peaceful with great service, great rooms and suits with delicious food all around the day. You can enjoy this great hotel with your beloved ones and its very suitable for coming as a family with kids since there are activities they can enjoy during the day while you are resting. They even have a special park for children near the pool.

A hotel in a unique location with a beautiful park and very comfortable and clean rooms. The absolutely negative side, very serious in a luxury facility, is the quality of service and the quality of the food in the restaurants. It is not possible to have a cold pork chop dripping with oil and meat whose fat percentage is disproportionate. Luxury is not to charge an espresso standing at the bar counter 6 euros!

Really lovely place with a very cool history. Perfect for a calm gateway from Venice. San Marco is a 10 minute taxi boat offered complimentary by the hotel every 30 minutes. Can feel a bit isolating if that’s not what you’re looking for. The spa treatments are very expensive however, a manicure is €60! The standard room is a little smaller than I expected but this was ok. Huge hotel with very unique hallways to the room.

This place is astonishingly beautiful. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Staff is friendly and super professional. Can't wait to come back again!

Always excellent. The only drawback is the shuttle service which is less frequent than a few years ago.

Luxury hotel that occupies the entire island with very spacious room, excellent facilities such as synthetic tennis court, swimming pool, park with life path.

Exceptional setting. Our room was directly on the water with the view towards Piazza San Marco. Service and concierge and restaurant, all professional and very friendly. Thank you and soon.

If you wish to stay in Venice and to have a calm retreat, then this is the place to be. Via regular shuttle service you can reach San Marco easily. The breakfast is delicious — especially in summer when you can sit outside it is excellent. The former monastry has nice rooms. Try to book one with a view to venice. And don’t take the cheapest one because this can be a little bit small.

Venice is a beautiful and unique city, but also VERY crowded. This hotel is the perfect escape just a short boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square. The grounds of this hotel are absolutely beautiful. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a Bellini or a Rossini. The rooms are a bit small as you can expect from an Italian hotel, but they are decorated wonderfully and the views are outstanding.

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful building, grounds, and accommodations. The staff was super helpful as well. Our early morning water taxi was unable to operate due to heavy fog, but the front desk staff managed to get us on another in time to get our train. Only negatives are: the food is over priced and not nearly as good as the local fair in Venice; the air conditioning shuts down on Oct. 1st; and our bill included a donation already itemized we had to verbally opt out of (which I thought was presumptuous, since I know nothing about that charity).

What about? Spectacular grandiose immense beautiful and certainly very dear I was always on business and I was shocked by the enormity of the place very nice staff is really chic the whole maybe less carpet would be better…

I was taken to the San Clemente Palace by my boyfriend for a surprise weekend away this August bank holiday weekend… it is the most amazing place I have ever been! The grounds and the building are incredible, and all the furnishing and decorations are beautiful. The staff were all wonderfully accommodating and couldn't do enough to help you, the peace and quiet away from Venice was a godsend after a busy day, and the boats were extremely convenient… I could go on and on about how good it was, I loved everything about it! Whilst we were there, my boyfriend proposed on sunset hill and everything about it was perfect; the Ladies in Red helped him to plan and execute the perfect proposal complete with flowers, candles and champagne, and they did the whole thing with total discretion, I had no idea what was coming! It was perfect, and I loved every minute of our trip, we are already planning to return for our honeymoon!

I had the pleasure of staying at San Clemente Palace Kempinski in Venice with my girlfriend. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment. The staff is forthcoming, and the island offers the perfect getaway from an otherwise very busy Venice, with boat rides every 20 minutes to and from the island. We were generously upgraded to the "Venice suite", which is a gorgeous and spacious room. If you are lucky, you might even see the hotel's mascot "Clemente" — a beautiful white rabbit that roams the island. :-) We would like to thank the kind team at the hotel for the lovely stay and hope to come again one day!

For the Venetians with the boat you can enter the island and the bar make you the Venetian discount.

Location and Staff.

I was lucky enough to spend my honeymoon on this lovely island and it could not have been better. As soon as my wife and I set foot on the island we were treated with the utmost respect. The service is unparalleled and the property is even better in person than the hours I spent ogling over pictures online. I'd be lucky to stay here again!

The hotel building was stunning. Lobby, rooms and the outdoor are was just amazing. But there's å season why this hotel only gets 3/5 stars from me, the service was terrible, and the poolside restaurant was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. The menu was limited, and the mixed seafood dish contained only octopus that evening. The catch of the day dish was the most overpriced dish I've ever seen. A small fish, maybe 200g and some standard salad was a stunning 60 euros. Anyone could've made that dish for less then 5 euros. I had to order something from the room service because I only got six (apparently prawn stuffed) raviolis for 25 euros. They had closed the room service kitchen at 00:00 so they only served cold dishes, wich I had to wait 40 min for.

We had an awful trip to Venice (#Ryanair) but as soon as I arrived at the island I felt renewed, especially after my 1st Hugo. The staff were attentive and made me feel valued. The accommodation was top class with large airy rooms and well catered bathrooms even the public ones. Don't get me started on the grounds, absolutely stunning. The poolside service was top notch. I would absolutely return and recommend this oasis.

Beautiful facility filled with luxury and beauty. Very helpful, courteous and friendly staff. Accessible by hotel's boat or water taxi, 15 minutes from Venice. Groomed gardens with beautiful status are peaceful and serene. Breakfast buffet is diverse and well presented. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Beautiful Hotel located on an island overlooking Venice! Equipped with a terrace facing the sea is ieale for functions and parties.

Excellent service, beautiful hotel and an ideal location. A picnic with the right flowers and bed of roses in the evening after that were mastered with bravura. A perfect engagement surprise.

A little oasis away from the crowds of Venice…

Truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel!

I had a wonderful time during my holiday. The rooms are beautiful and the service was great. Atmosphere was amazing and historical. The staff was very helpful and friendly – The chef was absolutely wonderful, the food was fantastic and we enjoyed the delicious food and great service. Lovely and amazing hotel for a relaxing break.

If you are going to Venice, I can suggest ST. Regis, Venice. It was an amazing experince. At first I really enjoyed to walk over the island. The rooms were big and I was feeling strange in a good mood with the view. The breakfast was really good and the service was great. Also the food and service of Aquarello was great and very romantic. Everbody should taste it. We stayed there 5 days and everyday we were going to centre, in half an hour there were shuttles to the center. It was not a problem to reach the shuttle. At first we hesitated what would happen if we couldn't reach last shuttle even it was late at night. They said no problem, just call us and we will come and pick you up. I have never seen such a nice welcoming. Hope to go there once more.

I spent my honeymoon in San Clemente palace it was the perfect hotel great service great staff and a great resort for couples.

“An Excellent Choice Combining City and Resort” We spent two weeks at the hotel in August 2011 so got to know it very well. One week was our annual corporate retreat with our staff, and one week was holiday and relaxing. The hotel is an excellent combination of ease of visiting Venice itself with the calm atmosphere of a luxury resort away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and town. The hotel staff from the group managers and front desk managers and from the concierge to the support staff could not be nicer, although the hotel is huge and the staff spread a little thin when major events are happening at the same time that guests are in need of attention. But over all they did an excellent job of taking care of us. The food is very expensive as could be expected in a resort in Venice but of excellent quality, and there is a comfortable bar menu to chose from if you want to sit quietly throughout the day without a major meal. The hamburgers are extraordinary and worth the trip in themselves. The group sales managers, the food and beverage manager, the front desk manager, the concierge team, the head restaurant hosts and hostesses — all were professional and excellent and personalized our visit. You can easily get to the center of Venice with the free water shuttle that runs every 20 minutes during most of the day.

A private island, private boat to collect venice! wonderful product, on the best in the world. Of course is a 5*hotel, but really the price for the moment is a little bit less of the other in venice! Health club, pool in summer, tennis court, and Golf are true! Excellent the restaurant Ca de Frati with a friendly staff, and joung Chef, Giorgio.
