Excellent location! Excellent service, unique and comfortable rooms. We had a free toor to Murano island with a water taxi that picked us up from the back door of the hotel. Everything that you would like to see is in 10 min radius walking distance. Great breakfast and again great service. The staff was going out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Cool roof deck. Located on a big street whit tons of shopping options / for the once that like to do that/. 100% recommend!

Excellent hotel. While the hotel itself is old, it manages to maintain a certain charm which makes it a perfect choice. The staff are excellent and always have a smile. The rooms are bigger than you would expect for European hotels. Breakfast has quite a variety. The location is just a few mins walk from the San Marco square.

It was a solid place to stay. It's was a little too busy there, but overall good experience. We never ate at the hotel restaurant, but it was a bit over priced for the bar. We decided yo hit some other places instead for small plates. Staff was very amenable and were very friendly. Made Venice a great part of the trip that we were taking for our honeymoon.

Loved. We stayed here in 2017 and again in 2018. Very clean comfortable rooms. Large bathroom in the room for disabled. Plenty of room in the room for a Walker and wheelchair. Lots of closet and storage space. The room overlooks the canal where the gondolas go, love hearing the musicians and singers. Breakfasts are good. There are restaurants in the hotel as well as nearby. Only one bridge to get to the water bus. If disabled, people are very helpful with the person as well as with wheelchairs etc. Highly recommend. Also the staff goes over and above for special requests. The hotel can arrange for a private taxi to bring you to the hotel from a cruise, airport or train station. Great hotel outstanding staff.

It's a nice hotel. Reservations need to be booked in advance. Responsive staff. A water taxi arrives directly to the porch.

We had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was very nice and the staff were knowledgable about the area. Rooms were nice as well, perhaps a bit on the small side but I think this may be the standard for Venice. The rooftop terrace provided a quiet spot for a picnic dinner, complete with views of the city.

Excellent location. Charming staff. Great breakfast. Ask for room overlooking canal. 5 to 10 minutes to everything in venice. Best part was Andrea the concierge very resourceful Spoke 6 languages fluently and graceful in handling all and any requests.

Great location and walkable to main city square. About a 10 minutes walk from a water bus drop off. Wi-Fi could be a little better but still very usable. Nice sized room with bath tub and shower.

Excellent location and hotel staff are brilliant! We had premium room which was very nice located at first floor. Unfortunately there was some construction going on and workers started 8.00am. We complainted and reception was extremely sorry and offered room switch immediately to higher floor without ua even asking. New room was quite and lovely and rest of the stay went without any hassle. We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Hotel Saturnia!

Perfect Hotel. Location 5/5 a stone's throw from the center and all the museums, elegant restaurant although I would have appreciated more privacy. The only drawback of the room required on the high floor received one on the first floor due to a breakdown in the Closet and the roses in the room never arrived but included in the package. Apart from these two wonderful room notes, very large bathroom, normal breakfast but well stocked with juices, juices, toast, cakes, savoury, brioches.

Nice rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are buffet and quite complete, including in addition to the typical waffles and tarts. It is very centrally located, 3 minutes from St. Mark's Square and on a fairly wide street.

The hotel is an old restored palace and maintains part of the original structure and décor. It's a little rococo, but very nice.
The room (double standard with extra bed) very spacious and the bathroom also, with bath and shower, WC and bidet and with a separate door a double sink. All very clean.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet is very good, highlighting the pastries that are excellent and you can make waffles at the moment.

I stayed there four nights hotel comfortable and central breakfast with great and plentiful choice. Staff were very helpful.

A recommendable hotel not far from St. Mark's Square. All sights are within easy reach. We had superior room which was large and spacious. Also the bathroom. Cleanliness top. Only point of criticism, the reception. The gentlemen appeared to us as unfriendly, unmotivated (but only to us: — () to my questions I was given a very unmotivated answer in my opinion. Only one woman at the reception, greeted me friendly and with a smile. The men don't even grüssten back. Too bad, everything else would be top.

Very central. Very good breakfast, we could even make fresh waffle. Nice room, big hotel. Very nice staff. Were there in December, will come back.

Beautiful. It's not a cheap zone for food and gift. But it's near all the famous clothes beans and very near piazza San Marco. And the vaporettos.

Unfortunately it was always necessary to wait at least 10 minutes to have a table at breakfast!

Great hotel. 1 minute from Saint Marks square and right in the middle of the fancy boutique shops. The hotel is old and different. But different in a good way. No corporate rubbish. This is family run, and it shows. Service was genuinely first class and nothing was an issue. A great breakfast in the morning set you up for the day. Highly recommended. We will stay here the next time we come to Venice. Stayed here as a family of 4 for 4 nights. Perfect English spoken by all we came into contact with. Very enjoyable stay.

It was just ok.
The location was close to St. Mark’s Square. That made it handy to get there but also very congested. I think next time I’d stay in a quieter area, north of the Rialto Bridge.
The room itself was BASIC — not even one picture on the wall! Open shelving and hardly any furniture. The chairs were not comfortable at all.
My travel agent had upgraded the room to a supposed deluxe room with a better view. We wound up situated right across from the Burberry st…ore, whose lights were on all night. Not exactly the romantic view I’d imagined. Staff was very nice and helpful for the most part. One person at the front desk gave us some wrong info, but a couple of people were very nice.
All in all, not very impressive. I definitely would not stay here again.

Place was gorgeous! My wife and I stayed here in Venice while on our honeymoon. We'd totally come back.

The rooms are lovely. They have beautiful furniture in the rooms. We have a great big couch to lounge on to relax. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is in the outside courtyard. There were plenty of choices for breakfast… Lots of fruit and pastries plus pancakes, waffles and cereal. The hotel is in a very trendy spot with many high-end stores in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were expecting a 4-Star hotel, but got a hostel. We nicely asked the from desk twice for a different room, but were dismissed. We stayed away from the room all day hoping they would change us to a different room. Our room looks nothing like advertised. No complementary water. Wi-Fi is in-and-out. No artwork on the walls. DUMP! Just hoping we don't get bed bugs. Do not stay here. Definitely not worth the price.

Great location, new rooms and staff prepared and polite! Included in the hotel the Bar Caravellino with excellent drinks and music, restaurant La caravel high level.

Hotel concierge was superb, all articulate helpful and responsive. Room was very clean with fantastic bathroom facilities. The view of the river was also lovely. Great location and easy walk.

Luckily Hotel Saturnia is extremely easy to find (unlike some other hotels). It is a clean hotel with good rooms and a kind staff. The rooms are really cool and quiet old looking. Honestly it is a great hotel with an amazing breakfast. Overall my stay was amazing. AND the service was great.

A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location that means you can walk to Saint Marks Square in less than 10 minutes and explore the area easily. All the staff are smiley, happy and helpful, and the rooms are beautiful. The food is great and the bar has a great atmosphere, although it is a little small so gets a bit cramped. You know a bar and restaurant is good when the locals use it too, and they do, so… I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again, which is likely as I proposed to my girlfriend on the rooftop terrace! She said yes, by the way. Venice is a wonderful, vibrant city, and everyone we met was friendly and made us feel at home. It's not as expensive as you may think and the lack of road traffic is striking. Clean air and no constant background noise. It is fantastic!

Great location and hotel and staff couldn't be any better. Had room # 7 on first floor which actually turned out to be a suite with 2 rooms and 2 baths. Fresh flowers and bottle of Procecco In the room as well. Hotel is over 100 years old updated for today's conveniences and our suite actually had exposed original beams throughout which added so much character to the place. If in Venice, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable with plenty of old world charm. Nice and quiet considering its proximity to San Marco. Breakfast is incredible — best coffee I've had in Venice! Everything was fresh and delicious. Excellent service too!

The hotel check in staff was very friendly and fun, the room was spacious and comfortable, with good bathrooms, and most beautiful Murano glass lamps. Breakfast at the hotel is very good, coffee is very good on the coffee table. Hotel is the perfect base for exploring a city. When we came to Venice when we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Hotel bar is perfect for dinner or a drink after a meal.

Everything is so good! Only internet is not ok for computer with my stay. Hotel said its telecom company issue.

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel in October 2015. The price is very high for the quality of the hotel. The breakfast (brunch or lunch at the American) is included and the hotel is very well located, at 5 minutes from St. Mark's square. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is old, furniture old, retained a typical character in Italian. The bed was comfortable, but we found the small room, furniture are giant for the space available, so there is little space to circulate. Note that you do not have control of the air conditioning and heating. The hair dryer is obsolete, not possible to use it. In summary, I recommend the hotel, but it would be good to do some renovations.

Food is old school (not pure venetian, more area sea combo African influence). Very tasty and priced correctly. Have not stayed here. Did look at a room. Family run hotel in venice — unusual for upscale St. Marks. Very charming and a step back in time away from the crowds which would ba a welcome relief. I love venice and old venice is kind of rare although all venice is old lol.

Truly lovely, old hotel, fabulously situated in Venice with a restaurant that is one of Venice's great gems. The staff is helpful, breakfast is tasty and rooms are great. I honestly can't think of anything I haven't liked here (and I've stayed four times). By the way, they have a canal access entrance so you can come straight from the airport to the hotel's rear entrance (about fifty feet from the front desk) ; this is pretty hard to beat as THE way to arrive for a stay in Venice. If your party is big enough this can actually be economical, too.

I enjoyed my stay here. The Internet speed was great. Breakfast was included. Beds were small but comfortable. Bathroom was larger than expected and modernized. I would come back here.

We had dinner at the pátio, very cozy. The food is great. Expensive as all of venice. 240 euros approx, couple. But for once you can go for a romantic dinner.

My wife and I love gourmet dinners! We have sampled a number of Danish restaurant over the years and last week in Venice we decided to end our holiday there with the wine tasting with dinner offered by Venice Walks and Tours. At 115 € per person for a 4 course dinner with 4 wine as well as aperitif and coffee it is quite reasonably priced — at least compared to what we are used to in Denmark. For each course there was a choice of two menu items, and to get most variety we choose different dinner courses — except for the main course. The sommelier explained the choice of wines for the dinner courses progressing from the ligther white wines for the antipasto, light white or red for the 1st course and a full bodied Primitivo Manduria "Atianasio" for our sliced beef entrecote main course. It was a wonderful dinning experience. The decor of the nice outdoor courtyard used during the summer is nothing speciel. But you don't go to La Caravella for the decor you go there for the knowledge of the staff — cheifs, waiters, sommelier etc. In giving you a wonderful dining experience. None of us are knowledgable about selection of wines, but at least after our visit to La Caravella we much more appriciate the art of choosing the wine that match the food.

One of the best restaurants I've been to. Мy wife and I go there every last week of the month, to enjoy the wonderful fresh salads and spaghetti. The menu is extremely diverse, and their wines are nice and at a good price.

A wonderful cuisine and friendly staff, quite expensive, but their money's worth. Tagliolini with crab and risotto with lobster.
