Excellent stay during the Christmas period. Friendly and dedicated staff. The best concierge in the world is Jacky! But his colleagues are perfect! Can't wait to go back!

Nice staff.

My husband and I had travelled from Cumbria to Venice by train, we were tired, hungry and thirsty when we arrived at the hotel. Immediately we were welcomed by friendly staff, all spoke excellent English too.
Our standard room was just right for our three night stop. We popped into the bar and sampled a little food and drink. The bar staff excellent.
Breakfast was fabulous.
All in all five stars, from the staff who served us at breakfast to the bar, ladies who cleaned our room and turned down our bed, to the reception excellent service.
Thank you all for making our three nights with you wonderful.
We highly recommend stopping in this quirky, clean and friendly hotel.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We were here about 3 weeks ago, and we loved everything about Ai Mori d'Orient Hotel. It was in a perfect location, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the place was beautiful and spotless! We were even upgraded to Junior suites, which was above and beyond. Also need to give a shout-out to the barmen, Bobo and Federico, for making the tastiest drinks and putting up with our shenanigans! I highly recommend this wonderful place, and I know we will stay again next time we come to Venice!

Fantastic hotel with great service and location. Clean, room was made everytime we left the room, very comfortable beds. Location out of hustle and bustle quiet residential area but only 15-20 minute walk to San Marco or water bus ride 10-15min. Definitely recommend the place.

We got to the water bus from the airport to Venice, this hotel is on the first stop and about 5 easy minutes walk. 15 euros each, private boat is 150 euro each. Hotel is so so beautiful and the staff are one of the best I have come across and I travel around the world with work. To get into the centre the hotel you can book you a water taxi or walk, having a stroll that's the best and wonder around the shop. At night get a private boat back right to the hotel. Sit out side there is peace and quiet not like in the city. I totally recommend this hotel, it's a must. Big big thumbs up.

I've been to this wonderful place. Atmosphere out of time. A cosy room with exotic charm. An unforgettable stay, attentive to every detail. Great breakfast buffet. I recommend it for a romantic stay! Great.

We stayed here for almost a week and were lucky to be upgraded to a junior suite which was stunning. The hotel was beautiful, very stylish and welcoming. All the staff were friendly and attentive and couldn't do enough for you. It was great being away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to two vaparetto stops to get pretty much anywhere. The area around the hotel was lovely with plenty of choice of places to eat al fresco. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in a calming environment away from the crowds.

Hey all, I enjoyed 2 days in Venice and want to share my experience at the "Ai Mori d'Oriente Hotel". We arrived by the train at the train station of Venice and needed to walk about 20 minutes to the hotel, cause it was our first time. When we arrived, we got our keys and a lot information about the room and offers (Boat trip around Venice or drinks at a rooftop bar). The hotel service accompanied us to the room and informed us about the service of the hotel. Near the hotel you have a lot of bars and restaurants. All important sights of Venice is about 10 — 20 minutes away. The cleaning service was not good, because they just clean the room, but they did not refill the glasses, cups and shampoo. I needed to go to the hotel service and get it by myself. The worst thing though was the shower. The construction of the bathroom is really bad, if you take a shower, the floor is all wet. You need to take your towel to not stand in water. That's really uncomfortable in my opinion. Overall the Hotel was still okay and the breakfast good in the morning. So I cant recommend this hotel, if you care about the room you want to sleep. But the location was good and the breakfast too. Hope you have a better picture of expectation of the hotel. A cute and inviting hotel in Venice Italy. Of the three lovely places we stayed this was easily the most friendly all around. For breakfast they had a wide array of food and drinks. The room was cozy, comfy, and I enjoyed the overhead shower as well as the heavy and sound proof bathroom door. Thank you for a wonderful stay for our first trip and we hope to be back again!

Not far from train station, but if you have luggage take a water taxi or water bus. In Venice there are no cars in the city. Early spring and late fall seem the best times to visit because of the large number of people. Lots of places to visit so would recommend 3 days or perhaps more depending upon stamina.

The hotel service is top notch. Very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and how to get around in the city. There rooms are nice. The location is kind of far from the activities, but there are restaurants near and it is peaceful and quiet.

Nice hotel except for the annoying noises of the refrigeration or air conditioning units.

On the whole this was a very nice hotel in a peaceful, quiet part of Venice. However, our visit was spoiled by the cleaning staff stealing from our hotel room. We left tips for the cleaner and she left the usually complimentary chocolates. One morning, the chocolates we had been saving had been removed. On the morning we were to leave the cleaner kept knocking at our door pressuring us to leave. Very disappointing for such a nice hotel. I think more care needs to be taken in recruiting honest and conscientious cleaning staff, and weeding out the bad apples who steal from guests.

Lovely hotel good transport links to airport and railway station. Fab rooms, clean and bed linen and towels changed daily. If you partake of the breakfast it's unlikely you will need lunch. Staff are very helpful — highly recommend.

It was a very nice hotel, very clean, very good bed and breakfast. Lots of small attentions little chocolates, weather map and water bottles deposited in the evening in the room and on the evening of the Valentine's Day the Little +. Visit offered in a private taxi in Murano glassware.

Very quiet Hotel, we believe that well located. Very clean. Continental breakfast is quite complete. Bar prices a PEL in expensive, but we assume that u Level 4 star Venice. The workers all without exception very friendly. Advisable.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in this hotel and it was a real pleasure.
Everything is thought to the smallest details, from slippers, to razors, to little cottons for my wife to water bottles accompanied by chocolates for the night. The room is very clean, beautiful. The bed is very comfortable.
The breakfast is plentiful with salty and sweet (especially appreciated homemade cakes).
The staff are very helpful, attentive and caring.
They offer free excursions to Murano with private Taxi boat.
I have rarely seen such a high performance in these hotel ranges.
I would recommend this establishment without any hesitation.

A wonderful hotel, decorated in oriental style. Location Super, in the north the stop for Vaporetti "Madonna dell ' Orto" (for trips to the islands of San Michele, Murano or Burano or with the Alilaguna Orange to the airport), in the South "s. Marcuola (Casinò) " On the Grand Canal for the main lines 1 or 2. But still a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle!
Very nice rooms, impeccable beds, with fridge (including minibar), programmable safe, house slippers, air conditioning, and LED TV. What is missing is a normal outlet in the bathroom, but a hair dryer is available. Also shower gel and soaps, even a disposable shaver with shaving cream.
At the very best is the breakfast, Italian and Continental, I was missing anything! Very untypical for Italian hotels. Different types of buns, bot, scrambled eggs, fried bacon, toast, various yoghurts, eggs, honey, jams, fresh fruit, cereals, various sausages and cheeses and of course also various croissants, cakes and even strawberry pie! A variety of coffees from the vending machine, but with the exception of the watery hot chocolate tasted delicious! On different days vanilla cream with strawberry pieces was brought to our table! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved this hotel — next year we come back! Grace Mille!

Beautiful little hotel in a quiet location away from the main tourist area in Venice. Rooms are very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Only bug is that the bathroom is a wet room, other than that we believe you could not find a better hotel in Venice.

A little out of the way and not easy to find the first time, but beautiful hotel with amazing breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us a care package for breakfast since we were leaving early. Also made calls to arrange water taxis and trips. Luxurious bathroom and very comfy bedding. Loved it.

The experience at this hotel has been very good. The rooms have very well used space and are moderately spacious. The location is very good, it takes almost nothing to get to the most touristy areas however there is no noise from the street. Highly recommended.

Staff very friendly and went out of their way to help us to reserve bookings at restaurants and book tours we wanted etc. Room was lovely, we booked just s standard twin and when we got there we had been given a junior suite. Great breakfast and lovely atmosphere. Close to everything but quite quiet.

My wife and I stayed here last week and were very pleased with everything. The staff was attentive from arrival to departure three days later. Courteous, accommodating, very responsive to our questions and requests. The room was beautifully decorated and sparking clean with a view of the back canal and sound of church bells. The bathroom was AAAA++++. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food, excellent coffee machines, and good service at table-clothed tables. The hotel is located about five minutes from the Orto pier for vaporetti service to anywhere in Venice and Murano and Burano. We highly recommend the hotel to travelers. We got lost walking from the train station but that wasn't the hotel's fault! The front desk staff and breakfast room staff were outstanding in their friendly, English-speaking service.

In a serene neighbourhood just minutes away from the hubbub of the commercial areas and a fifteen minute walk from Piazza San Marco (if you don't get lost! ). Hotel staff are welcoming and speak excellent English. They were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, making reservations and arranging a water taxi to the airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a distinctive Ottoman flair… canopy bed, heavy drapery and "turkish" rugs on a terrazzo floor. Bed linens are crisp and the mattress comfortable. Pillows were not to my liking but I am accustomed to down, so it is a personal preference. A few tables were out front where a drink could be had. I believe light meals were also served. The breakfast included hot and cold items. A little something for all tastes in a pleasant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location! The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us find good local eats and had great recommendations on things to do as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice.

Great rooms, very romantic. All staff was very helpful and friendly. The ceiling in our room on the top floor was low which was a bit annoying having to duck. My guess is that other rooms are o. K. There isn't a shower curtain so you have to take a bath or shower sitting down. There is a free water taxi between 10-11AM to Saint Mark's Plaza area. They also offer night boat ride down the grand canal for 30€ pp.

We stayed at the Mori Oriente for a two night stay for my birthday celebration from 20th Jan23rd. The hotel is a lovely hotel, very clean and tidy and lovely staff. Our room was a standard room but was a lovely room all the same, my only complaint was we had room 612 and it was very noisy when the people above us went to their room as our bathroom was under the staircase and the slamming of doors was quite annoying. Other than that it was a perfect time spent their. The breakfast has plenty to choose from a good hot and cold buffet service and the staff are very helpful. I loved the location and would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Beautiful hotel, very nice. The location is not central, but in 20-30 minutes you are in San Marco. In the circistante area there are many restaurants and bars in the evening.

I chose thus hotel as a surprise trip for my husbands significant birthday send only told him just before leaving that we wee going to Venice. Wasn't sure about my choice of hotel as I'd arranged this in secret but I needn't if worried the wonderful staff had read my email and upgraded our room. They couldn't be more helpful and we'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quite, clean, lovely hotel that isn't in the middle of the tourist area.

Staff very good warm. Hotel is well located, close to the Center but in a quiet area. Room was warm and comfortable, but for "Deluxe" is a bit too small. It would have been better if some drinks.

Hotel is located in northern Venice (the Cannaregio district), within a short 4-5 minutes walk from the airport ferry (Alilaguna, orange route). It is a very quiet neighbourhood, not too many tourists, but many great restaurants aren't very far away. The hotel is very charmy and offers free Wi-Fi and free breakfast. The room I got was spacious enough, with a double bed and a separate bathroom, including a bathtub. It was very clean (hotel was re-opened in 2014) and it was quiet, I slept very comfortable without any outside noise. The room also had a small safe (not big enough for a laptop though). Wi-fi was adequate, not fast, but sufficient for checking mail and browsing the occasional web page. One nice surprise was the breakfast, which you could enjoy either inside or outside. It consisted of various types of bread and buns, cheese, ham, egg, yoghurt, cornflakes, granola, fresh fruit, 3 sorts of cake (! ), etc. More than enough to keep me going through the morning and part of the afternoon. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, always ready to give some advice or help out in any possible way. Every (? ) evening (18:10) they have a private water taxi that can take the guests of the hotel on a 60 minute tour on Canale Grande (the main canal in Venice) for a fee. A great way to experience Venice for the first time.
