For me this hotel deserves a 5 star rating: When you choose how many assign I find it right to calibrate the scale in order to make the scale "relative", and not "absolute".
This hotel is just nice, there is everything you need, it's quiet, great cleanliness, good location (albeit out of country). Quiet rooms, all with large sheltered balcony — good quality sleep.
The kitchen is really good quality, varied, abundant, well presented.
Dario the owner is an exquisite person, as is the rest of the staff we have known, so much sympathy, kindness and utmost attention to the customer (even to small difficulties or needs that the individual may have). Everything was done to accommodate us in all, we had problems of arrival times, schedules dictated by the stages of the excursions, dinners, breakfasts… Dietary requirements (also gluten-free and vegetarian) … All managed with the utmost serenity and helpfulness, just talk about it and decide together.
There are also some interesting extras like the very large space of leisure with pingpong and football and huge fireplace, sauna and whirlpool.
Of course all this is for granted if you go to a hotel that costs an eye of the head… But the great surprise of the Rosalpina is that everything I described you pay a really honest price.
I have been here, and not for the first time, with a large group of friends and all have felt treated very well (even the dog we had with us — yes because here we accept animals, provided polite), all were satisfied — plus so I made a good fig I also for the choice.
A negative note (otherwise it seems that they paid me…) : The rooms are divided on two floors but there is no lift.
