This is one gem of a hotel! There is heaps of evidence of real grace and elegance. Old marble everywhere, leather seats and originals on the walls and strewn around the premise. The elevator is about as old as it gets (as in still working) and you wait for eeeeeever, but this is the pace here! Time has stopped on some level. Everything is also well cared for. A lot of effort to keep things up and tidy is evident. At the same time, there is proof that the economy is moving forward outside: The breakfast buffet is advertised from the first second you talk to staff (after checking-in). Apparently: '… possibly the biggest breakfast buffet in Pisa, Italy or even the world'. Yeah, it is big! And you'll get your money's worth — but, to come back to the topic of economy, this is more about quantity than quality. The choices are plenty, but it mostly came in cellophane from the supermarket around the corner. Again, there is grace and luxury to be found though. The coffee maker includes all you can imagine on a press of a button, even Ginseng-Capuchino (don't ask, I didn't try). Some cakes tasting and looking as if they came fresh from grannies oven, I saw pumpernickel! So, all in all, you can't go wrong if you need a place to stay in Pisa — the staff here is exceptionally friendly, the place is a 1 minute walk from the central train station and the experience is worth it…

I and my girl stayed for two nights here. It's quite close to the train station so it's a very good option if you're thinking on going somewhere else but come back to sleep. However it gave me the creeps some nights as it's located in a narrow alley. Staff wasn't especially friendly, but the first person who received us who was much nicer. Room was old, although some pictures of this hotel shows amazing modern contemporary rooms it could not be your room so be careful. Personally I wouldn't come back and try to find something closer to Pisa tower which is the only nice area of this city.

Let me tell you about Hotel La Pace. This hotel is quite close to the train station (Stazione Pisa Centrale), so you can just walk about 2 mins to arrive to the hotel. So check-in was easy, and in about 10 mins the room key was handed over. The room was quite big and the stay was quite pleasant. The air conditioning was "okay" but it was cool enough. (Breakfast) : Breakfast was good. They had quite a variety of breads and Cakes. As well as bacon and scrambled eggs. They had everything you would expect from a 3-star hotel. (Important Note) : They do not provide toothbrushes and toothpaste. You could buy it from the small convenient store opposite the hotel. The toilet can't be locked even from the inside. (Note for Families) : They use keys for the doors and family rooms are located on the lower floors of the hotel. (Before going to Pisa) : Okay so going to the Leaning Tower Of Pisa is quite easy and don't take the taxi as they could rip you off. Always use public transport, so bus is the most convenient way of getting to Pisa from the hotel. Please note that if you buy your ticket (s) on the bus then it is going to cost you 2.5 Euros. (Don't Forget) : To validate your ticket inside the bus as if you don't then a fine may be imposed.

The bed was really comfortable and breakfast was really impressive literally want for nothing! They even have a range of gluten free options which were very good. Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful, got check in and out very quickly. The hotel has some lovely quirks like 2 red telephone booths in reception and art covering every inch! Air con is in the rooms which is very welcome. The only downsides to the hotel were the bathroom smelt like drains but this is very common throughout Italy and there is metal shutters on the windows. Outside the hotel literally 2 minutes to the central train station and the pisamover from the airport drops passengers just the other side of the station. It is a hike to the leaning tower but it is a very interesting walk. The area the hotel is a bit rough you are likely to get cat called and some of them even tried to touch me, maybe not the place for solo female travelers.

The charm of the. Hotel is just that. Already when you enter, you feel like in a castle, the purple red implodes and gives you a sense of luxury but also of home, thanks to the staff, available, confidential and always attentive to the need of. Guest. The rooms are not the classic "cold" rooms (pass me L. Expression from Alberghetto) cozy and equipped with mini-bar, bed Comodossimi! In the morning, what's better than a hearty and varied breakfast where you can find everything? I liked that as opposed to many hotels or B&B do not have the "short Braccino" on the portions! And then we want to talk about the position?!? 5 minutes from the station, 5 minutes from the center, not facing noisy street… Another thing that I appreciated so much that you do not fall into the room at 7am to do the cleaning, (sore note that I found in other places) gesture that I find rude and unrespectful towards the privacy of the customer! Bravo, this is your honor. Definitely coming back!

Ero di passaggio a Pisa, venendo in treno mi avevano consigliato questo albergo perché vicino la stazione, effettivamente non potevano consigliarmi meglio! Ci metti esattamente un minuto a piedi ad arrivare dalla stazione e in cinque sei in pieno centro. Colazione a buffet fantastica, ricca e soprattutto con prodotti di qualità. Camere ordinate e pulitissime, accoglienti. L'edificio è antico ma le opere di restaurazione lo rendono moderno e al passo con I comfort che offre. Personale gentilissimo e molto amichevole, sempre disponibili per qualsiasi problema. La prossima volta che passerò da Pisa saprò dove fermarmi!

I really, really liked the hotel! Yes, a bit old furniture style, but who cares — I did not go to Italy to stay in my hotel room! It was CLEAN and tidy. Bathroom was big enough! There was a hair dryer (very important when its raining outside) and towels as well. Oh, and the terrace was a very pleasant surprise :) Staff was brilliant! They were always greeting us with a smile and were very helpful when needed! Not just robots behind their desk! Thank you, thank you for the lovely first time "Italian hotel" experience! Nothing fancy, but incredible good vibes. Thin walls, but surprisingly enough we slept like stones both nights. It is old, extremely close to the station, super sweet staff (big up for alfonso and the guy at breakfast who gladly made us cappuccinos with soymilk). Hope to see more vegan/plantbased food there and elsewhere in the future. The hotel was filled with paintings by this guy Hippert, and there were something magical about them. Or maybe it was just us;)

Good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room. Near the station. Cons, Soundproofing (Windows). Station-oriented, at night the noise of the railway traffic and the takeoff of the planes was overheard. At night the atmosphere in the area could be better.

The room was very nice. There was no soap nor shampoo and seranda the broken dust was a lamp one burned nightlight and did not work and collected with gear for one night on 37 each and toilet with shower shared. In general you can suck looked then Pisa and happily home to Rome sit down and then better Otelli.

Fantastic location so close to airport and train station. Tower is also only a short walk. Pisa is full of pick pockets, though that seem to stay close to train station. The hotel is basic and staff are friendly.

For a training course we were hosted in the structure, we also had the opportunity to try the breakfast really good. A big thank you to Andrea and his staff Gentissimi and Disponibilissimi.

Very good hotel, fabulous breakfast!

The hotel is fine, it was all clean and tidy. The breakfast is pretty good, especially the jam vending machine. Very comfortable rooms. It is pretty well located next to the station and with a lot of variety of restaurants nearby. The tower is about 15 minutes walk through the center. In winter they put an ice skating rink in the next square.

It is not a luxury hotel, but it is very well located, clean, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast great. Oh! Very friendly staff.

Not recommended! The location near the station is good. The front desk was very nice, they kept our bags until we returned at 14:00. The room is outdated the bathroom is functional. The pillows are too thin. All expected for your price. The cleanliness was clean and the bed was very good. I have gone camping and have never been so uncomfortable… The area in the afternoon had regular pint (the hotel is in a passage) there were groups of 15/20 men who did not bring much security to the area, with cries and clashes (several days). The problem came on leaving the hotel, the girl at the front desk told us that we didn't have to pay rate given that by booking through their website they had that detail (we didn't get proof). Fabrizio (was on the way out) we rebuked, I told him that paid but his partner had not said that. We repeatedly threatened to call the police, while I took out my purse and offered at least 4 times to pay the fee, without attend to reason. We're screwing around.

The isolation of the rooms is not good, I can hear clearly the people in the next room. Not so good in general.

As for breakfast super splendid and delicious besides being included within the rate.
Its excellent geographical location The metro station is 50 meters. We recommend.

Quality-price Good hotel xa a short stay. Attached to the train station and close to the center. If you want to travel to Florence it is a hotel where you can stay and be quiet.

Hotel located in a dirty neighborhood, near the train station. Dealers in the passage in front of the entrance to the hotel. The establishment is ageing, and poorly soundproof (the noises easily cross the walls and also pass through the ventilation of the bathroom), the cleanliness leaves to be desired. Moreover, the room that was originally assigned to us was in a dismal state: foul smells, rotten bathroom door, questionable cleanliness, etc. It looked like a hotel room to pass… That said, the breakfast is plentiful, the location is not central, but the historic center is not very far. Staff at the reception available and friendly for some, completely exceeded for others. I do not recommend this hotel.

A good hotel only 3 minutes from the train station. Rooms were basic but comfortable with kettle & complimentary tea & coffee. Bathroom was spacious With shower over bath & a bidet. Only gripe was the thin Italian towels which don't really dry the skin very well. Air con. Was not very efficient either. Very quiet room we never heard a thing during our stay. If you are on B&B option the breakfast is good with an excellent choice hot & cold buffet, there was even a full honey comb to scoop out! The bottom line is an efficiently run hotel with a "lived in" look, in an ideal spot for the station & only 20 minutes to the centre of Pisa. We will probably use this place again in the future.

A great little stop for a night, it's not far from the airport and for the price it deserves 5 stars but… whilst it's great value for money don't expect the Savoy or the Ritz. It's a comfortable hotel and the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy.

Nice clean hotel. Not easy to find inside a small shopping alley, but convenient for the airport. Taxi charge 8€ from airport. Nice size rooms with basics.

Perfect place! When arriving the neighborhood can get a little scary, but don't stop at the front, the inside is really good. Big positive: The staff is very nice and gives good advice. But especially: The breakfast is extra! I have never seen so many choices.

Very close to the Pisa Central station, 2 min walk to the hotel. Perfect for folks staying for few days. Rooms are good, had a little struggle with the shower space, but not a big concern. Loved the breakfast here, lot of options. Great breakfast buffet. Staff are very friendly. They have TV with cable (sky). They helped us with our topical traveler questions. They also allowed us to keep the luggage there after checkout for free. Lot of restaurants nearby as well, few of them open 24 hrs. Would recommend this hotel.

Horrible room! I wanted to put no stars at all. We booked this hotel because it was in a good location near the train station and it had decent reviews. Boy, were we disappointed! While location was indeed good, that's about the only positive here. The room was a good size, though very old and a bit run down. The bed frame was old and nicked and the furniture looked like it was made in the 1930s. That could have been overlooked, if it wasn't for the fact that the bed was probably the most uncomfortable one I had the misfortune of sleeping on. It was like sleeping on a plank of wood. The bathroom was spacious, but the door wouldn't close properly and there was no shower to speak of, only a bathtub with a hand held shower head, but no shower curtain. The bath towels provided were more like dinner napkins in thickness and not much bigger than that either. The final nail in the coffin was that the room had no AC or any kind of fan! It got to 35°C during the day (we visited in June) and when we got to our room at night, it was almost the same temperature inside! The windows were covered by some kind of shutter/grate that couldn't be opened, so even with the window open, there was no chance of a breeze. I woke up after only about an hour of sleep, completely overheated, sore from the uncomfortable mattress and unable to fall back asleep again. Worst night in Italy yet…

There were three of us, we were given an apartment! Two large rooms, decommitments, large bathroom, great facilities (including Sky). Breakfast NO limits Fabulous! I would stay here again just for that… Too bad because the place would be a little refurbished, it's a bit saggy. And also the surroundings are not beautiful. But it's a short walk to the station.

Although the hotel is a bit elderly, the staff is really very friendly and hospitable.
Many customers complain about the rooms, but they do not consider having paid for an economy room (at a very paltry price). The standard rooms are comfortable.
The breakfast is fabulous, probably the best in Pisa.
Unfortunately the area does not help: as all areas around the stations is frequented by ugly guys, but this does not depend on the management of the hotel.
I recommend staying in this hotel, especially for those who want to easily reach the station or the airport, but also for those who want to stay in the center of Pisa without spending a capital.

Took a spontaneous trip to Pisa by train and needed someplace to stay at 12 am. This was a two minute walk from the station and the gentleman at the front desk was very gracious. My husband and I hadn't eaten all day, and the desk attendant opened the kitchen/ bar just to make us a couple sandwiches and open a bottle of beer. The room we stayed in was very cozy and warm, in contrast to the wet and rainy weather we were having, and affordable. I would definitely come back! This makes me want to stay an extra day in Pisa.

The hotel is located in a rather dubious gallery but very close to the train station.
Very good reception The staff is nice, however noisy room and faded, traces of mold in the shower, temperamental water heater. The air conditioning was not working.

Great hotel in a good location close to the airport and spotlessly clean! We stayed on the first and last night of our Italian adventure and the friendly staff gave us sound advice on where to eat, shop etc. My 7 year old son left his very special blanket behind on our last night and Andrea moved mountains to ensure we got it back safe and sound for which we cannot thank him enough. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be back! X.

Hotel la pace was very accommodating, clean, and the breakfast was especially great. I would recommend because we only had good experiences here. It is also a good walking distance location from everything.

Good location, good price, good breakfast, well done cleaning. It happened to us a bed a bit uncomfortable. For the rest I recommend given the proximity to the Centre and the station.

We stayed 4 nights until Christmas 2015 (double and one single).
It is strategically located, close to the train station but quiet, 20-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo.
We found the rooms very clean.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff for tips on your stay.
Extensive buffet breakfast and complete over that yummy.
Also as a strategic base for visits to the seaside resorts of Versilia.
Recommended, even for the very good value for money.

Nice three star hotel in an excellent location, within walking distance from the train station and the city centre. Friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bed very comfortable. In the room there was also a TV with Sky. At the end of stay we were offered to leave luggage at the hotel until the evening for free. Great experience, to be repeated!

Not if you can travel to future, but if I can assure you that when you enter through the door of the hotel you are travelling to 40 years ago at least.

Basicly it is below for 3 stars others hotels. AC wasn't work just making noises. Only reason that I gave them 2 stars for their good breakfast sevice and good location. Genoa has better hotels and less cost for my advise who planning to travel Italy.

For the price range come ok. Rooms are somewhat old fashioned. Good parking facilities in the public parking garage. Very much recommended for a cities trip due to the excellent location.

Hotel besieged in a passageway next to the station with friendly and helpful staff. Very old and dark rooms have a bad night room afraid films like pathetic.

Great property for accommodation and value for money. Young and very helpful front desk. The only minus: hard to find place have always many demands.
