Outstanding hotel in Amalfi and great service.

A Hidden Gem! The Hotel Floridiana is somewhat tucked away in the middle of the historic district of Amalfi, sharing the building with another hotel and businesses. You will not have a room with a view here but the Floridiana more than made up for this in other ways and although we were there only three nights, we were glad that we had picked the Floridiana in hindsight for a number of reasons. First, while it is somewhat buried in the town it is in the center of the historic district which means that you are near everything (not that Amalfi is that big to begin with, mind you). But still, a minute walk to the cathedral, and main plaza, two minutes to the pier, two minutes to the paper museum, etc. Amalfi is quite touristy so there are many, many cafés, bars, and restaurants scattered about, all within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The Floridiana, along with several other Amalfi hotels offers complimentary walking tours of both Amalfi as well as Ravello which are well worth the time. Second, the accomodations themselves were very nice. We had room 103, a spacious room with a loft that had a small coffee table and an en-suite jacuzzi tub! The Floridiana also shares the roof with the other hotels in the building but there is a nice space up there to sit and enjoy the sunshine and get a view down towards the marina. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast which was incredible! Great Italian Roast coffee and an offering of both hot, cold, and sweet buffet items.

Fantastic Place, the owner Mrs. Agnes, delightful person, nice room with 2 bathrooms and a Jacuzzi, rich breakfast buffet. To go back absolutely.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. The room that we had was large and with balcony. The only thing is that if you want to sleep until late you can not by the bells of the church that is to 50 mts. But it's a good excuse to get up.

Everything is perfect about Floridiana — location, hospitality, breakfast & rooms. It will be my obvious choice on next trip to Amalfi!

Hotel Floridiana was incredible. It's in a perfect location close to the action but tucked away from the noise. The rooms are spotless and there's a beautiful terrace on the roof. By far the best part of Hotel Floridiana is the staff. I had a bit of an emergency on the first day and Agnese was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. She walent above and beyond for the entire duration of our time there. 10/10

Perfect place to be in when visiting Amalfi. Great staff, great service, great rooms and great location!

This was just the perfect place to stay in Amalfi. The ladies running it were so very hospitable and hospitable. Thank you Agnese and all the friends.

Loved the jacuzzi in the roof top, wonderful location, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfy beds (not as hard as the rest of the beds we had during our trip). We loved Amalfi and it's small streets and pretty coast line, so much better than the Positano tourist trap!

Great Central Hotel at good prices.

Rooms were quite nice and the hotel staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was also delicious.
