One of the most distressing hotels I've ever seen.
We arrived on the 25th morning after a booking to say the least outrageous: the owner kept sticking the phone in our face, both for line problems and for commitments with other customers, leaving out the fact that every one of our complains about it was promptly answered with a wicked and rude joke.
The room was decent enough, but in the bathroom you couldn't have a bit of privacy as the key was missing and the shower box lacked a sun and from the 3rd floor you could smell cigarettes coming from the owner smoking both inside and outside.
Breakfast, on the first day, was sparse as there were only empty jam bowls (in common for everyone), while the other days, after our complaints (with rude and bad joke from the owner), was already fuller, even if it lacked food Salty.
I am aware that under my review will try to climb on the mirrors, as he tried to do with other reviewers as well.
The hotel's main problem? Just the owner! Unkindto with customers and employees, of course, he still gets away with the criticism of those who, unfortunately, came across this hotel.
Ps. We only came because he accepts dogs, but the dog did not accept him.

Not only does the hotel Le Siirene have a great location but the great professionalism, availability, sympathy and patience from the owner, Mr. Aldo, to Mrs. Elvira (she made us breakfast and cakes were made by her, yummy and not always the same), to the boys who with electric cars have repeatedly accompanied us to Scilla country, to Miss Maria at the reception and not least the cleanliness of the Room and the whole structure, make you feel pampered and spoiled, always with great discretion. The only "neo" to have to start again, but if it is true, and it certainly is, that in Scyila you go at least twice as the legend wants. So, dear Scyila, I hope that the sorceress Circe will do her duty with me, so next year I will come back again to relax and enjoy your sea. Thank you.

I had booked a room arriving on August 11 at 03.00 in the night.
The hotelier at the reservation (11:00 on 10/08/18) confirmed to me the availability of the room and took care of the certainty of my presence, given the time of arrival.
I reassured him of the certainty on my arrival as I was travelling with 2 children.
At 7:00 p. M. The same day, he would call me and tell me that he no longer had a room available for a mishap.
I leave at 21:30 as scheduled and luckily I found it at the Grand Hotel Victoria in Bagnara Calabra.
