Review of B&B Casa Armonia 3*

There are B&B-s, that are more like a hotel, professional, the owner mostly lives elsewhere, and they focus on the service. Guest is a client. You arrive like a stranger and leave like a stranger. Hospitality could be perfect, but a bit sterile. And there are some B&B-s — where maybe they forget to put soap — but are familiar, straightforward, and one feels like you are visitor to your relatives, who lives abroad. Franco's house is the latter. These kinds are that you will always remember, the characters, conversations, smiles, gestures will interwine with the city in your memories. This attitude is the strength of Casa Armonia, which is unique in this. What may be the reason he has many regulars. Casa Armonia is one of the first B&B, which opened it doors in Pizzo. A rustic, medieval building with an antique-style salon and Pizzo's most fabulous seafront view. If you are lucky you may see upcoming dolphins from the huge terrace :) Which is also the breakfast scene. There is a large dining table for guests, so there is a chance to meet citizens from faraway country's, and have conversations with other guests during the breakfast. The terrace is a pleasant place to be able to spend hours without notice and enjoy the fantastic view. Franco — the owner — drives the inn almost alone, yet takes time to solve non-ordinary requests. For example, one night when I did not want to go to a restaurant, but I wished to have dinner on the terrace, he drove me with a motorcycle to buy a pizza, as an extra bonus he showed me some hidden party of the city.
