It is managed by an inexperienced and non attentive staff. We asked for an ice bucket; the first time they delivered the second time they gave us a glass filled with ice. We made reservations at their hotel for dinner when we arrive they told us we didn’t have a reservation It was very embarrassing The attitude was nonchalant. I had to contact the front dest to get it straightened out. The Wi-Fi is awful. The Refrigerator barely worked and we didn’t get any help with it. The hair dryer over heated in 4 minutes; no USB ports anywhere. The staff was not warm and helpful as I have experience in two other hotels we were at previously. The view from our suit was breathtaking and the room was clean.

We celebrated here the baptism of our son, last May 8th. Everything was perfect. The raw seafood were super appreciated by all our guests. Thanks to all the collaborators, especially to Maitre Aldo and Mrs. Gabriella. Impeccable attention and attention to detail.

Everything, I was not at all satisfied. The frivolities of the chef were frozen of I don't know who he is I don't want to comment on the rest. If I start commenting on The Waiters I won't finish anymore.

High level restaurant, excellent cuisine especially the raw, I had lunch on the terrace and the view of the sea is priceless, the bill appropriate to the local did not surprise me, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is in an optimal location, with most of the sea-view rooms. It is located practically next to the famous polygnano beach. The rooms are very nice and equipped with all the comforts. The amazing thing is the cleanliness, the room is cleaned 2 times a day, only flaw, air conditioning to ball, basically it turns on every time you leave the room. Prices quite high, but let's still talk about a four star. If you get the chance, eat in their restaurant!

I arrived a few hours if I had to give a rating from 1 to 10 I would not give more than 2 maybe it's too much, they charged me a suite 510 euros a night the room had to be sea view instead from the terrace you see only sauces there had to be hot tub but I'm fortu born that I found the

We spent Palm Sunday lunch on this fantastic and only terrace overlooking the sea. Despite the rain we were warm admiring the winter sea. Unique atmosphere, room staff and attentive and professional kitchen. Great and highly recommended restaurant.

This hotel banks on its reputation of its primary location in the amalfitano coast. It has 4 stars and it’s clean but overpriced for what it is in this location. I’d say this specific branch runs like 1 or 2 stars max. The rooms are not quiet — you can hear everything going on in the hallways and above you. I couldnt sleep at night because a family above us would chit chat all night long and I could hear kids running around. The rooms are cheap-modern (very ikea basic style) and nothing like the rustic charm of the town of polignano. When they make your bed and room they often forget at least one thing. Parking is a 15 min walk and uncovered unless you pay more. The bathrooms dont have robes and the towels arent very soft. Nothing in the mini bar but two waters that will never be replaced for your entire stay. TV in the room didnt work. Safe in the room didnt work. They tell you you’re getting a room with a view of the ocean but it’s a side view and actually faces the noisy street. Restaurant is the same type of thing. Dont waste your money if you’re expecting a 4 star hotel.

I think a 4-star Hotel can't afford to respond to a customer at 9.45 Sunday morning, at breakfast, that fresh fruit — provided by the menu because it is present in the dishes of other customers — is finished.
At the cost of buying it… but I doubt it was really finished, considering that the hotel also has an active restaurant.

My experience at the restaurant was absolutely negative, products appreciable but scarce portions, good service but rude executives, very unwelcoming, neither hospitable, rude and unprofessional.

We made a stop at the Terrace bar to freshen up and enjoy the beautiful view. Nice and helpful staff Average prices.

We had lunch at the hotel restaurant, the Bastion, an exceptional experience, from the food to the location, from the staff to the chef. Recommended to enjoy excellent fish dishes.

Hotel is nice. For 4stars there perfectly okay. Breakfast was Italian. Staff friendly. Wanted to settle a meal and we did not claim the dinner service there. After reconnaissance and by looking at the documents, she then dissolved everything in air. Shower was big enough. Bathroom was clean as well as the room.

€150 for one night in low season… arrival at the hotel and the room I had requested was not available… I'll settle for a measly 1 first floor view Domenico Modugno (other than breathtaking views! )
Not to mention the ants in the bathroom…

A great restaurant. Great variety of dishes made from fresh fish and prepared in a variety of ways but always yummy.
Here we chose to celebrate our wedding because you are informed about quality, prices and the typical panorama of Polignano a mare (BA).
We had a great time, even for the kindness of all the staff.
We'il be back when I heal from orthopedic damage sustained in a major car accident.

Apsolutely loved this hotel! Very clean, very welcoming, staff even speaks English! They truly know how to make you feel warm and welcome! The only thing I can say was a little tricky was parking, we went in to talk to them and they moved their van to accommodate us. I cannot say enough about the staff and this hotel. Thank you for everything! We will return!

Upscale yet quaint. Incredibly beautiful location on the cliffs over the Adriatic. Staff will accommodate most requests. Tiny bar in the lobby provides wine, liquor and all other beverages at all hours. A wonderful breakfast of local foods is provided daily. You won't get a better location in Polignano A Mare.

Great rooms, friendly service, great views. Nice part of town.

Beautiful hotel, luxurius rooms. Amazing location, friendly personel and very good breakfast!

Rooms are simple but comfortable, great water pressure in the shower, nice front desk staff. Walkable to everything. They have 1-2 covered parking spots for 25 euro/night.

It is overlooking the small cove in the heart of Polignano. It is really comfortable the excellent service and the restaurant serve delicious seafood specialties. The only drawback is the price but in line with the competitors of the same level. The Stella Wax remains Polignano a mare.

I have stayed at many 4 star hotels. This is an odd one. It is beautiful. Or at least the hotel is. We were placed in the Dimora. This means we need to walk from a separate building about 5-6 minutes away for breakfast. We have no internal communication with the hotel. I must use my own phone if there is an issue. If locked out, you cannot call up to the rooms, you must go to the hotel. The hotel, except for a SPA that costs extra, has no other amenities. All 4 star hotels I have stayed at in Italy do. I was planning on using this hotel for one of my group trips that I organize but I will have to think twice. I am now sitting in the warm, humid lobby of the Dimora where I was placed so that I can have the only access to internet available to guests! Comfort, in the basic sense, is not one of their strengths. The staff is very helpful. The parking, although removed from the structure, is fine. I know, when I am here, with all the confusion and oddities, that I am in Southern Italy and this room was far from a bargain.

Value for non-conforming price. We stayed in a suite, shower stall leaking water to the room, shower head with limestone which does not allow the smooth flow of water, leaky sink.
Pointed out, the situation has remained the same.
The booking there was clarity about services and diversity among the suites as well, convinced that the steam room and plunge pool on the terrace, we had only a teuco hydromassage. That's fine. Know first, best, given the cost we would have chosen more carefully.

I was a guest in the suite and felt in a 5 star hotel. The modern décor of the room and private terrace overlooking the Sea made me love. Gorgeous breakfast.

Fabulous location, for those who have the ability to book a few days before we can have the privilege to eat by the sea-view terrace. Staff were courteous, always very vigilant. Had two starters from 18 euro each, a 4-course first 15 Euro, white wine produced in Puglia 12 euro, 10 euro 7 euro, 2 2 sorbets covered, 2 coffee 3 euros. Of course the whole fish. The price for the service is not excessive. A must try.
