We had a great stay here in this "luxury" B&B, apparently the first 5-star B&B in Ireland. Snacks and drinks are complimentary, the host is a wonderfully organized French gentleman who has interesting stories to tell and you can spend hours chatting before realizing that you better get going to catch that plane at the airport … The luxury comes at a price — it is a little more expensive than other B&Bs in Ireland. The location is ok if you have your own vehicle, the views are nice (not amazing) and there is a fairly busy road about 30 m from the property across the parking space so, while inside it is luxury, outside it is less so. Access to the promenade / coastal walking trail which takes you all the way to the heart of Galway is only a short walk away past the camping site. I would give this establishment 4 stars but because our host was such an entertainer, I honor him an additional star.

We stayed at Sea Breeze Lodge May 22nd and 23rd. Beautiful location and Lodge. Breakfast and the breakfast room a pure delight. Our host Fred gave us spot on great restaurant recommendations. We have friends planning a trip to Ireland. We will definitely recommend staying at the Sea Breeze Lodge in Galway.

They've thought of everything, and the view is amazing! Very friendly owners, outside the busy city centre, but close enough with a short taxi ride. Fantastic weekend!

Fred was the greatest b&b host! Wonderful accommodations that go above and beyond. You can tell that Fred really cares to get to know his guests and he treats everyone so well. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I made the trip to Ireland to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and I simply left my heart there. We were so blessed to meet Fred and stay at SeaBreeze. I only wish we could have stayed more than just a night. Ireland is a magical place, but somehow there was a bit more magic at SeaBreeze. It was our very favorite place to stay-magical, warm, hospitable, beautifully appointed, and a host that blessed us beyond measure. I can't wait to visit again and I will absolutely be staying at SeaBreeze for longer than one night. Thank you Fred, for the wonderful memories and continued friendship.

Wonderful experience staying at sea breeze. We were treated like royalty, breakfast was great, fruit in the room, easy access the Galway city center.

Great location, beautiful rooms and breakfast was delicious. We stayed here three nights on our honeymoon and could not have been more pleased.

Great place, good location close to nature. Very service-minded owners, Fred even did a birthday-cake for our daughter! Excellent breakfast!

We booked the master suite based on photos on the website. Its not accurate. The room is actually smaller. And has no direct view of the waters. It is across a very busy street. Not quite what we expected. Having said that, the room itself was comfortable and fully equipped with modern amenities. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Fred is a generous host who leaves crackers and an enormous bowl of fresh fruit in your room which has coffee and tea making facilities. The room and bathroom was cleaned very well every day. Overall I would recommend friends and other travellers with the caveat regarding its location.

Amazing B&B beautifuly located along the coastal road with beautiful views of the bay! beautifully furnished, large, modern, comfortable room, bed and pillows were so comfortable and the views were lovely over the bay. Great attention to detail with robes and slippers, fresh flowers and fruit, the friendly. Helpful and accommodating owners had great attention to detail in the room to make it as comfortable a stay as possible and really go out of their way to ensure your stay with them is enjoyable. Lovey breakfasts and beautiful location. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Galway.

This is an amazing 5 star B&B! A fabulous place — outstanding. Super comfy bed with huge bathroom and separate bath and shower. Lovely little touches that you don't find at a Hotel for twice the price like real milk in a jug in the mini bar (tea/coffee making facilities) with some complimentary crackers and cheese. Never seen that anywhere else. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom including bottle of bath salts — just the job for a lovely long soak in the big tub. Great breakfast in a lovely dining room — good quality coffee — always a plus! Beautifully decorated B+B with lovely TV lounge — didn't avail of this, but looked lovely. Would definitely go back again. Situated in lovely quiet spot in Salthill. You could walk to Salthill, but would need to drive into Galway city.

This 5* B&B has an amazing luxurious feel to it, and the hospitality and breakfast are top notch. It is by far the best bed and breakfast out of the 14 places we stayed while in Ireland. Michelle will help you plan your day and has great maps and directions for you. You need it, just ask and she'll get it for you. It's located just up the street from a nice beach. The bus stop to Galway's Latin Quarter is down the street, and cost is Euro 1.80 each way. We found this a great way to get to Galway, and loved the area both during the day and at night. Our room was nice — rooms in front may have a better view than those in back. The bed was top notch and felt wonderful. I wish we could have spent another day or two there.

This was, by far, the most spacious and well-maintained accommodation in which we stayed during our twelve day family vacation which was the best decision we could have made. There are actually no words to describe how beautiful this B&B is. The Sea Breeze Lodge makes for a beautifully appointed lodging experience. Spacious and immaculate place to stay. It offered sincere hospitality, attentive, conscientious service, and high quality in all aspects of our stay. Recently renovated and exquisitely appointed room in a casual and relaxed environment. We really appreciated the attention to detail, from fresh flowers in our room, fresh fruit, snacks and bottled water in the fridge, along with coffee/tea. The bathroom was beautiful and modern, and breakfast was delicious as well. It is situated in a very calm area but isn´t far from the city centre though. The rooms are beautiful and decorated with updated furnishings and fantastic beds. Hardwood floors, plantation shutters help with those who may have allergies. Our host, Freddy, was remarkable, taking time to greet us both during breakfast every morning and whenever we returned from daily excursions. The breakfasts were nothing short of fantastic and the menu even had something for my ten year old "picky eater. " We stayed in one of the front rooms which had a lovely view of the bay, making it a perfect place to end long days of sightseeing.

New (or seems so), supper clean, a comfortable bed, right on the bay. Breakfast was great, many choices we did not see in most B&B's and served with a great smile. The price is about average for Ireland but get so much more. Bath-robes, slippers, fruit, fresh milk in own mini fridge, cheese and crackers, tea and coffee, biscuits and flowers in the room. Delicious and generous breakfast in a bright sunroom. Amazing view of the bay and beautiful sunset. Could not recommend more and will go back every time I am in Ireland.
