Very nice place, really enjoyed staying here. The place is very beautiful in all corners. They even treat as with courtesy of the chef. I would love to come back and stay here again.

We booked this hotel based upon a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately, as the country's borders are closed, we are unable to keep our reservation. Each time I call the hotel to speak about a refund since the situation is outside of our control, they hang up on me. Multiple times they have HUNG UP on me once I tell them I would like to speak about a refund! I understand that times are difficult for businesses, but to not even have a conversation and hang up is truly appalling. I can only imagine to poor service they would have been provided should we have stayed there.

We’re literally impress of stayed at this hotel. Nice, friendly, kindness, helpful stuff. We was stayed at Royal pool villa I just called that’s paradise! And a floating breakfast was soooo great! Hopefully to come back again to Ubud and there’s gonna be our 1st choice.

This place is amazing! Got to the hotel at night… and can’t wait to see the view in the morning daylight.

Incredible staff, perfect room, crazy view.

The staff were excellent and helpful, the food was great and the room and facilities were outstanding. We also did the candlelight dinner which was an amazing experience. The resort is a short 15 minute cab or ride in the scheduled shuttle bus which is the only possible downside, however this location allows for the spectacular rice terrace views from many of the rooms as well as the pool and restaurant area. We would certainly revisit on our next trip to Ubud. We stayed for two nights in a grand suite room.

Dreamlike hotel in the middle of the rice terraces near Ubud with a fabulous surroundings. The rooms are Balinese in style and leave nothing to be desired. The Staffs are mega friendly and fulfill almost every wish. One of the most beautiful places to stay in Ubud. Try it out. You will not be disappointed.

I stayed one night here as a treat for my birthday. I love the room. I love the private swimming pool. I love love love everything. And that's not all. In the morning the staff surprised me with a birthday cake! ❤️

It was a tranquility and calm place, with view over the rice paddy fields with several of coconut trees and the sound of waterfalls all those give you a rejuvenating feelings. We indeed felt rejuvenated and refreshed The compound is very nice, we stayed on the one bedroom pool villa, you can see from the pictures I shared was indeed nice and beautiful. The resort staff also helpful and nice, bear in mind that when you bring lot of luggage with you it will be difficult for you to carry onto your villa as you may find several stairs and road blocks but the staff would be glady to help you out The only downside was, you may find your villas a little bit dusty or dirty here and there, but that was expected because you will find this over on resort or hotel whose management were not from an international standard brands.

Good location with view of rice terrace, shuttle services to Ubud was very helpful. Rooms are new and built in modern style and Service was very spontaneous.

Puri Sebali has been the highlight of my trip to SE Asia. The staff is AMAZING! Dody walked me to the ceremony with the Garong, and then introduced me to his mother and wife (who gave me tropical fruit), Febri trekked with me in the rice fields and took me to the cock fights behind the temple; I had always wanted to see this. Amazing! And Hastari was a total sweetheart, she took good care of me! Beautiful room, great breakfast Fabulous massage. I'm telling you, this place is a GEM!

Take a room with a private pool, enjoy the breakfast (super service from (gede), order some crispy duck, take the morning walk in the rice field, a good massage, the shuttle to Ubud Center to enjoy octopus at the Hunan Locale restaurant and a visit to the monkey forest and this is it. Puri Sebali Resort is just awesome, with a very warm personnel, loved every minute here! (Best quality price/result! ) Nous avons adoré!

One of the best vila located in ubud. The staff was awesome and the room was fantastic. Overall everything was unforgettable moment.

We had a lovely but short stay at this resort. First of all we booked one bedroom pool villa which was amazing and totally worth the money. Nice private terrace with own little pool and amazing views. Really felt relaxe in this property. Room maintenance was also very good. The views from the villa and the restaurant are also beautiful: the rise terraces and the jungle. I took some great drone videos of the surroundings. Breakfast was good and you can choose from the menu yo…ur combo. Restaurant food was not 5/5, max 4/5 depending of the course. Shuttle transportation to Ubud central is a nice little plus. We felt very welcome and overall service was very pleasant.

Saw rave reviews online and thought the steeper price tag I paid for the room will be well worth it, but alas I had a very bad experience with no air-conditioning for my room, plus I was requested to sign a dubious "agreement" asking me not to say anything negative on social media. I booked a Grand Suite Rice Terrace room for 2 nights in April 2017, and checked in in the afternoon. The location is 20 mins away from Ubud centre, and they have free shuttle plying the route therefore do check on the timings to plan your day. The room was spacious, has a very high ceiling and overlooks a beautiful rice terrace. The bathroom was also nice decorated, with comprehensive toiletries provided. However the key drawback of the room (and no respectable hotel rooms should ever be like this) is that the air-conditioning unit is located high up above the room near the ceiling, almost 2-3m above us. When I first stepped into the room, it was already very warm (bearing in mind the surrounding temperature is around 32 degrees), so I switch on the air-conditioning, and left the room for the day, hoping it will cool after. I even draw the curtains to prevent the sunlight from coming in. At 11pm that night we returned, and found that the room was not even at 28 degrees! It was as warm as outside.

I would wait a few years and then book maybe. Staff wonderful, infinity pools are always good anywhere. Food not boutique, poor, ambiance questionable due to extentions that we were not notified about, sad considering my wife is recovering from cancer and we came to ubud for recovery and the puri sebali looked the goods. … We have stayed in this resort for 15 days and we have travelled the world over our years, would suggest go elsewhere, power issues, smell issues and about to become a wedding destination upon renovations. Long way to go to meet luxury boutique status, in fact we are leaving early! Staff thankyou, mgt disappointing and sad, never to return, no value, happy to discuss… Wishing you a happy future and we hope you take the feedback with respect and posivity. Ranking 3/10.

Me and my wife had a great experience at Puri Sebali. Staff is very courteous. They have free pick and drop cab service to Ubud Palace. Pool area is also nice.

Great place to stay. You can choose whether a private villa with private pool inside or suites. The food are also yummy here. The staff are nice and friendly. So far, I love this place.

Excellent place with stunning views, this place have everything for everyone be it a couple or family. We went as family and they upgraded us to family pool villa from pool villa, breathtaking views of rice paddy from private pool with devine food and cocktails from their restaurant with absolutely fantastic personel attention. Highly recommended if you are looking for peacefully holiday.

We have stayed here for 3 night now as part of our honeymoon… stunning views, best in the area I think. So peaceful n quite.

so much to do and see in the area and about a 5-10min taxi to the centre where there are lots of restaurants n bars.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! My husband and I stay here for 6 days in a Pool-Villa during our honeymoon in Bali. The view over the ricefields is exceptional beautiful just as the whole hotel is. The staff is as kind and friendly as I never experienced it before (and I've been to different 5-stars hotels all over the world). They make this hotel even more heaven on earth! We've experienced a great ricefield-tour (included), a yoga lesson (included) outside on the terrasse with a wonderful view as well, enjoy the everyday teatime (included) and had a super romantic in-villa candle-light dinner with an extraordinary lovely handmade flowerdecoration. The amazing breakfast always includes a delicious fresh fruit platter, a fresh fruitjuice and different mains (even typical balinese breakfast which my husband loved to try). They provide a shuttle-service to Ubud which we didn't use often because Ubud was way to busy for us. Words just can't describe how excellent this resort is. If we would come back to Bali we would definetily stay here again! I would absolutely recommend this resort to family, friends and everyone who wants to expirience an exceptional holiday.

Love the ambience, love the room, love the breakfast and teatime offered. They also provide free rice field trekking in the morning. Superb! I saw people doing yoga, I didn't know about the programme, maybe they offer it for free also, can ask the receptionist. The place is quite far from downtown, but no worries, they provide shuttle bus. Super duper friendly staff. The only thing that was not perfect was the bath tub leak when the water was too high, not sure what happening here. Not too annoying though, the floor will get wet anyway.

Several time I when drop my client from seminyak and doing a tour from puri sebali, the staff very friendly and location in tranquile and calm ambience, at night when we drive pass to rice field tonget to hotel we can see the fireflies in corner of t-juntions before the hotel, as the tour driver, iw ill highly recommend this hotel for your hotel in Ubud.

My wife, daughter and I went to the Puri Sebali only for one night to take a break from Seminyak. It was wonderful. We booked through their website and just got a driver to take us there. If you stay two nights they will drive you one way I think to the airport. The grounds were beautiful. Great views from our villa and what looked like every room there. They only have maybe 20 rooms max so it was super mellow there and the staff paid great attention to the guests. We received a nice welcome drink on arrival plus cold scented towels to wipe our faces with. They offered a free 15 minute foot massage but we skipped that. The rooms were beautiful and well put together. The mini bar and bathrooms were well stocked. The pools were very clean and weren't over chlorinated. Food at the restaurant was well done and the service staff was well trained. Our room came with lunch and breakfast both. We went to dinner in town and ate at Three Monkeys restaurant which I recommend. Best part about our stay here was that they drove us into town both ways and the rice field trek in the morning. It was supposed to be two hours long but with a six year old that seemed a little long so they cut it down to about 45 minutes for us. It was a great educational experience for our daughter. Little bit outside of town from Ubud and I loved it even more for that. Such a great quiet escape from the Seminyak. Can't wait to go back.
