Review of Cupid's Heaven Beach Resort 1*

Extremely disappointing experience. Not at all recommended for the following reasons: 1. No receptionist present at the counter to check us in. There is not even a proper counter. After 30 minutes of waiting I had to call the hotel number and let them know of our reservation. 2. The shocker! salt water in bathroom. Not even a bottle of drinking water served. Having travelled over a 100 kms and reaching the hotel on a hot afternoon, we were looking forward to a relaxing bath. The hotel staff assigned just shrugs and tells us that they only get salt water in the area. Whe we asked if they could provide drinking water, he says WE NEED TO BUY DRINKING WATER FROM OUTSIDE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THEY ALL DO! (We asked a family living close by and they readily provided with municipal water which was not just fit for bathing but took care of our drinking water requirements as well. 3. Hotel has no backup when power goes off. The electricity went away several times and we were unable to sleep with the fan. (We got a non-A/C room. ) 4. No TV in a non-standard room The hotel staff told us they do not provide TV in rooms even though I could clearly see the TV cord hanging from the wall. 5. EVEN SALT WATER STOPS NEXT MORNING BECAUSE THERE ISN'T POWER OVERNIGHT! We decide to check out early next morning because of our harrowing experience. To our surprise, even the salt water has stopped and we are unable to go to the restroom or take bath. We have been to several hotel thanks to Goibibo's discounts and loyalty points but this was the WORST experience not just in Goa but in all the hotels we have been to so far. I would advise future travellers stay away from this hotel until these issues are taken care of.
