Manager recommended decorator head was very bad. She did not provide good service. The lady (Soumili) was busy to collect money just after starting ring ceremony. She did not introduce the person who will be able to provide service in her absence. There was nobody who can remove table chair from dias.

Went with my parents for a short stay. The rooms are clean and spacious with a comfy cosy bed. I forgot to take any pictures. The morning yummy cookies arriving at the room was the best part of the stay. The staff are warm and helping. The buffet breakfast and dinner that we availed was elaborate and delicious. The desserts were the best part which I manages to take a pic of. The ambience and presentation of the food was welcoming too.

Staffs are attentive & co-operative. The sapphire room is average but higher category rooms are better. Breakfast is also decent & the staffs are always inquiring if I am facing any issue or not? Only check in time taken is a bit more.

It is located 30 min away from Airport and currently the area is less crowded when it comes to traffic and people on road. The staff is polite and are very proactive. The breakfast was complimentary in my package. And the quality of the food was good. They were quick enough to lend me a iron board and iron when I had requested. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Overall it's a good hotel with good staff that listens to the customer.

The pride Plaza hotel is one of the better hotels in the New Town area of Kolkata. The hotel has all the basic amenities that you can ask for. There are huge buffet rooms, entertainment centres, good food, parking space and most importantly it is located within 20 mins from the airport.

Good stay. Rooms are great. Meal is awesome. Location is 20 mins from Kolkata airport and a smooth drive usually. Staff behavior is excellent, very courteous.

Great hotel with great facilities. Wished to provide 5 star but the reason I deducted 1 star is because the behavior of the securities deployed especially in gate 3 are rude. They should be trained how to behave with their guests rather than showing attitude.

Excellent hotel. Very good hospility. Very nice food. Best 5star hotel in my life I ever seen yet. The main point is that the office staff s very much helpful and good maintaining with care ness.

It is a decent hotel, close the the Airport. Has good rooms with clean bathrooms. Staff is cordial and helpful, easy check in and checkout. Good food at the restaurant and a nice breakfast spread. Overall a very good corporate/business hotel which comes with all necessary amenities.

Infrastructure wise it's a nice hotel. Maintenance is average. Location is fabulous. I have only one concern regarding the complementary breakfast. It's pathetic. Better not to try it.

Reception staff was very unfriendly. That's the last thing you want when you're checking in into any place! They took a Rs. 2000 deposit from us for incidentals! I guess I'm order to be international standards, they need to know better…

The staff is very warm and friendly. The rooms are posh and cozy. Feels really good to stay at the place. A great place in Newtown. The food needs some betterment though.

They have no notion of customer service. The entire hotel needs refurnishing. The sofas are so dirty. Besides that they really don't know how to treat their customers. Broken taps in the bathroom. Locked fridge. No menu in the room. They'll even ask you to deposit extra amount and won't give you two keys even if two people are staying.

Located in New town nearby to airport. Lot shopping options are nearby. Large rooms and lot of space is plus point. Food is good. Sitting arrangements oneach floor gives great time spending options. Staff need more training and little service improvement. This is large hotel.

Very conveniently located especially if you are in a official tour. Close to Kolkata airport and away from the hustle bustle of Kolkata. Bang opposites to hotel Novotel. Clean room and bathroom with all modern fittings and accessories. 8" spring mattress on the bed that makes a good night's sleep. Their dining area could have been bigger but that is not a major issue. The reason for me giving one star less is that I found their buffet breakfast menu has shrinked compared to my last visit one year back. Overall good experience.

The ambience was very good. The staff were friendly and presentable The cuisine was great to taste. The multiple cuisine options were loaded to be choosen from. Overall a 5 star experience.

It's just a hotel fall under 4 star although it's between 3n 4. Food is bad. Buffet breakfast is alien combination. And u won't get food /breakfast nearby. So u hv to eat at hotel. Quality of food is like a normal hotel. Some staffs are well behaved. Rooms r clean big. Lack of professionalism unlike 5star hotels. Nearby under construction zone make u dull further. For couple it's a really bad choice.

Main course was not good. Mutton curry had too much salt and Fish Paturi was cooked well. Starter was average. At starter, the chicken item was below average. Drinks are good. Dessert items are well. Over all not so price-worthy.

The place is nice. I attended a two day event there. But unfortunately most of the people there got food poisoning from the buffet they provided. After complaining the next day, it was nice of them to change the restaurant and chef to provide lunch the next day. But the damage was done already. I needed a whole week to recover from my stomach problem. From the photos you can see the food looks amazing though. It was the second day food after they changed the restaurant and chef. The hotel is located in a very nice location. You can take buses from to various location from just in front of the hotel.

Had a very unusual experience here. I was here for a seminar. The staff told it was on the sixth floor. But there was no trace of it. There I saw a young come running after me to take me to the venue which was on the ground floor. Very nice gesture. The facilities at the hotel was of standard five star quality. My only grouse is that staff could wear their dresses of better quality.

Excellent services extended during my stay. Guest friendly staffs. Such a nice place with all facilities to stay with family and friends.

Although Breakfast menu is awesome with lots of variety and custom service availability. The hotel swimming pool is booked most of the times for events… stayed around 3 weeks.

Rooms are not comfortable. Water in the tape gives bad smell. Restaurant staff requires proper training. Not having good manners.

The place is great. This place is usually a place to give different online examinations. The place is fully equipped with air conditioner. The computers are very good in performance. The examination can go fluently as no problem occurs in internet.

Had the opportunity to stay here for a week or so. The rooms are cosy, the facilities are good and the corridors are huge. Walking from one end of the hotel to the other will take the breath out of you The rooms are fitted with consumables, the service is a tad bit slow. Receptionist generally forgets what you'd wanted. The pool area is brilliant. Very windy and an amazing place to host a poolside or a pool party. The pool is covered though. I'm not sure about the spa, it closed down on our last day of stay. The highlight of our stay was the food. Extremely good quality food. The chef did a wonderful job in keeping up the taste of the food. Overall it's a great place to host marriage parties. The close proximity to the airport and 3 big banquet halls make this is a really happening place.

The rooms smell musty and dusty, had one room changed already. The new room has lesser smell, but still uncomfortable. Staff is very helpful, however, that cannot resolve the smell issue.

The place is very good for staying. Rooms are very neat & clean. Food choices are also good & they are tasty as well. Only thing that I am unhappy is about sometime the service is very slow apart from that I am very satisfied.

Only stayed for one night, but it was good. Room smelled like smoke (was a smoking room, so no real complaint there). Breakfast was sufficient and Wi-Fi was so-so.

Apart from being close to the airport, there is nothing much you cud talk about mentioning it a "5 star". Commute is a challenge always. No courteous staff, I would say confused staff rather … We had to call 10-11 times for a print that we requested. There also seems to be lack of staffing as we had to come couple of times for billing and till the time we checked out we found the same issue. (everytime we had some query, the duty manager or the person authorised was not available) The Wi-Fi is not complimentary, they charge beyond 3-4 hrs. Located on the outskirts of Kolkatta, there are not much options left to you for food apart from what they serve which is again not so great and too long to reach you! (So if you are hungry, forget it) Overall, Communication, Courtesy, hospitality — not as per standards! I mean look at the OYO rooms based at price 1500-3000 INR you get a super class service, be it food or anything, also — located at the central of the city. (quoting just an eg) Having given an option I would settle down at any other 2-3 star hotel than coming here. Would not recommend to anyone!

Too costly. Worst hotel ever I stay. These guys are charging customers even to use Wi-Fi. That costing around Rs600/4hours. C'mon guys now a days net connectivity comes under basic amenities that you should provide free of cost to the customers to whom you are charging 6000+/night for a stay. Only hotel staff is good.

This hotel is average. Location is poor. You will have trouble to reach here. Also the surroundings are not safe at night.

Been there on a business trip at Kolkata. It is at the most happening location of Newtown, very close to the shopping malls. They have a spacious and secured car parking at the basement. Checking in was quick & hassle free. The room and the bathroom were very modern and spacious as well. The swimming pool was medium in size but well maintained. Buffet meals were sumptuous and of wide range. Authentic bengali dishes were there as well. Overall it was a good experience. The only downer was the Wi-Fi was not complementary.

Horrible experience, Managers don't know the meaning of hospitality. On what grounds have they joined hospitality industry is anybody's guess. We can get much better experience at half the rate in other 2-3 star hotels as per my personal experience. I will never stay here again & advise people to refrain from it if they want comfortable stay in kolkata.

I gifted your restaurant voucher as a birthday gift to my mother and you guys left nothing to spoil it for her — your Kolkata property doesnt even have bar licence and yet you are selling it on Groupon. Your staff is unhelpful, rude and lies! NOONE should trust you guys.

This bar is very nice and there would very nice food here so come and take.

This hotel can be a 3 star one. Yet room service had not been satisfactory. Food particularly breakfast was not palatable and options were less. I lost my personal towel (large, light green) from the room. Despite having complained several times it was not found. Wifi internet is unusually costly.

It is just an ok place. Nothing more than that.

It may be a 4-star hotel, but one doesn't get the feeling of a 4-star hotel upon entering it. Leave alone from the outside, you don't get that feeling when inside either. The Eco Hub is much better than this. Maintenance is not fine. Although I haven't stayed here, the hotel doesn't seem very attractive from the outside as a 4-star hotel. A lot of improvement is required, and expected from The Pride Hotel, as a 4-star hotel in a future posh location such as Newtown (India).
