Took the buffet at 10 in evening on valentine's day food was cold all items we will either finished or doing the last moments. very dissapointed. With the place. if they did not have proper food then they could have refused the sitting. atleast that would have been better of to somewhere else. Would not recommend at all if the clock has struck 9 pm.

Staffs are very humble and co-operative. From snake to dinner very delicious food. And overall it's a very good experience.

The hotel has a cosy ambience with good facilities. The coffee shop has a good ambience with good F&B options. The housekeeping services are nice. The bed, the room and bathroom linen, the lobby and common area decor are all worth praising.
Overall a value for money proposition.

Very poor service. Gyms equipments should be thoroughly cleaned after every use but there is none. Booked conference rooms for team meetings. Food was not served in time. None to clear plates. Overall very poor experience.

My brother is quarantined in the property as he flew back from Bangladesh a few days ago and because of the prompt service and help by the whole hotel staff and especially Mr. Debanjan Basu they arranged transportation and a room for him within an intimation of 1 hour. I'd like to thank everybody responsible for this smooth experience for him.

Very well maintained, nice welcoming. During quarantine facility they are maintaining all health protocols. Quality service and food is also nice. Well decorated room.

All the staff at this hotel are tremendously helpful, always give you a cheerful smile. Seems to be nothing is too much trouble to ensure you enjoy your stay. Soumajit the waiter gave excellent suggestions from the food menu and what an interesting person to chat to. Thanks to all the managers and staff including the security and porters.

The Buzz one of the best in the city. If you are lucky to run into Pushpayan and his crew during lunch or dinner he is going to make sure you have a more than comfortable experience. Loved every moment spent here.

Lovely place lovely ambience specially when u r greeted with such humble attitude and lovely songs of Tagore at the waiting lounge … The food is mouth watering very healthy, delicious, tasty specially their mutton preparation and desserts and cooked in the best possible way it can be … now coming to some minor issue's the place can be made little more exotic the pool area/section can be made more large though fr rooftop its the best thw washrooms needs a little more attention otherwise its perfectly fine and last but not the least hospitality it can be little improved regarding food section (serving, bill paying etc etc). As I have said this these are minor issues but overall The Gateway Hotel people should all visit a must watch place in Kolkata.

It was my wife's birthday on 1st Oct and to celebrate the occasion I selected Taj Gateway Hotel for a lovely dinner with our daughter, son-in-law and grand son who have come from Sydney especially for it. Buzz, the restaurant, served us the best food. We enjoyed the evening thoroughly. We now feel like visiting the restaurant time and again. All staff of the restaurant were very courteous and the ambience was equally befitting.

It was a lovely experience at the Gateway. We went there with our 6 months old daughter for breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us the breakfast to our table (it was difficult to manouver around the buffet spread with the stroller). Midway during the breakfast, my baby girl was hungry. The staff led us into a vacant room to feed her comfortably. Last but not the least was their amazing breakfast spread and those freshly baked waffles.
