Ambience is good. Hotel is in heart of the City masab tank banzara Hills. Food is just awasome. Varieties of food is in the buffet. Staff behavior is friendly. But need improvement in Room Telivision. LCD is now backdated. And also require TATASKY or Dish TV. Cable TV is fully backdated.

Apart from gorgeous complex delicious platters, hospitality and caring attitude of all members of staff, this time I experienced the presence of two beautiful personnel. On Mother's day, Mr. Subhro, placed one unique engraved watermelon converted into a sculpture of Mother with her child as his tribute to his beloved Mother. Yesterday another person, name not known to me, transformed one towel into an elefant and placed in my room along with a floral tribute to my HH Maharajji. Thanks to Hotel administrators for enrolment of such persons in their flock. I'm staying in this hotel occasionally and recomend for safe and delighted stay in this Hotel.

Not worth the money they charge. Plenty of other options available in the city. Very small rooms and there's a new policy of not allowing guests to the rooms which really is out of order. The staff cannot even explain the reason why guests are not allowed. They just say it's the "Management Policy". So, if I have hosted people coming over from other parts of the country at golkonda am I suppose to sit in the restaurant and talk after paying which is a bit too much for their sub standards. Would definitely not recommend and this is my last booking.

One of the best places in Hyderabad to organise business conference. The guests can stay in nicely done comfy rooms and conference rooms are big enough for a medium size office gathering. The hotel is centrally located near Banjara Hills making it convenient for people to drive down. Parking is not huge but is sufficient for a medium size gathering. The best part is food, they have awesome recipes and each dish is cooked to perfection without an overdose of spices. You will love their biryani both veg and non veg. It is a luxury hotel and highly recommended place for your family gatherings, celebrations and conferences.

Please beware. I had attended a party over here. (relatives anniversary party). I can give surely provide a whole glimpse of what this Golconda Hotel is. First of all the Taste of their Food they provide : — Worst I must say. They really don't know what a particular dish tastes like. Money : — My god why tf are they charging for those items that much, pathetic. I simply cannot say about the room service and stay experience over here. But I know I never even want to. Because the manager or the other staff here is very rude. They have a problem even if you stand against their glass corridor. Two or Three times they have asked me not stand near to it as it might get dirty. I don't know what this hotel is all about but a place where people aren't treated good is not a place to be visited or stay.

Took a room here thinking it's a 4 star hotel and they will have good facilities. However the experience was quite opposite. Bedsheets in the room were dirty. No comb in the washroom. Visitors were not allowed. Absolutely pathetic. Breakfast isn't good.

This is one of the grandest hotel in Hyderabad in the mid-economy range (its great if your company offers you accommodation). the staff is good and very supportive. the gym here is good and trainer available shall provide anytime guidance. not to mention the great food options available here. Late noght buffets offered are less burden on the pocket.

Suitable for lay back long sitting or for brisk business. Pretty ambient, clean restroom n decent smoke zone. However there's no live music as in past n has became quite expensive.

I rated it four star for its location and cleanliness. Very well located, old property but neat and clean. Food is very expensive and very ordinary considering it's Hyderabad. Breakfast was sad and front reception could be more helpful. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Paradise takeaway is just the next building. Overall offers good value for your money if you are travelling for business.

Was her for a family dinner, good cozy place with a nice ambience. Service was really good and everyone was treated freaky good. The food was to good, just the right quantity and taste. Pricing is a little on the higher side but it is expected. They also had some good live Indian classical music. Present overall experience.

I've been here twice so far — both times for the engagement ceremony of a relative. The first was in a banquet hall while the second was in open air lawns. Never stayed here, so can't comment on the whole hotel experience. The location, however, can be considered "central" for someone who wants reasonably quick access to city sights as well as the airport.

I stayed here in August 2016, overall it was a good experience. The rooms were, good classy and clean, the toilet had a glass wall covered with curtain which usually features in high end hotels. The food was awesome for breakfast and they also have a fine dining restaurant whose biriyani was good. Swimming pool is very small but clean and functional. The front desk staff could have given a better experience.

This is one of the oldest hotels in Hyderabad. My usual visit is to the jewel of Nizam restaurant. They have a good set menu that includes quite a few delicious Mughal cuisine dishes. They have live music played which adds to the over all experience.

The hotel is clean and the staff is welcoming. The rooms are spacious. The location is easily accessible buy public transportation and there are a lot of food and shopping options around.

It was a good place for food in past but now it has lost its standards. Midnight buffet was most unpleasant experience. Food was staled then surroundings near food was really upsetting. I could easily see bugs moving in and around food which literally made me leave that place asap. Dosas were good as they were made then n there served hot felt only dosas were hygienic than other items. Please have a keen look at food before you eat here especially at midnight buffet.

Rooms are nice with comfortable beds and modern, stylish bathrooms. However, our non-smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes when we arrived. The breakfast buffet is underwhelming and the pool is very cold but probably nice in the summer. The gym is also decent and clean with two treadmills, other machines and weights. Shower is hot with good water pressure and room includes a safe, television, and nice furniture. Good location near nice restaurants and Banjara Hills area.

This centrally located hotel is the best to spend weekends or for travellers to this historical city of Hyderabad. The room are spacious and cozy. The staff is helpful, it also has can service, free Wi-Fi and city tour plans. Breakfast is a mix of Indian, south Indian and continental. 24 hours restaurant gives travellers an option to eat at late hours. In room dinning has a good menu too.

Always passing by this Hotel but never stopped. But today I stopped and I really had a great time here. The buffet spread is Healthy, big and tasty, The starters are the main attraction because of their taste, biryani is good and the service is also good.

One of the best place to stay in Hyd. One of the oldest but well maintained hotel. Good and courteous staff. Nice food in restaurants. Was there with family (wife and 2 yr old kid) for 3 nights and it was very satisfying. Nice rooms, large windows with good road side view, nice bed and a wonderfully done bathroom. Word of caution: The guys who manage the travel desk in hotel are biggest cheats. Pls avoid them and instead book taxi from outside or app based taxis than getting cheated by them. Overall a nice stay. Will look to stay there again whenever I visit Hyderabad again.

Great for non veg food. Loved chicken and mutton Biriyani there. Fish starters also were good. They have mid night buffet which has limited but good items on buffet menu. Vegetarians may not enjoy much. Ambiance was nice as well.

This may feel like a rant rather than a review but it must be said. First the good things, location is easily reachable, rooms are clean and nice, food in the restaurant is also nice but on the expensive side. The worst thing is the staff, not all but most of them. You'll have to ask a thing at least 3 times to get it done and they will blatantly ignore you if there is a rush and they are bombarded with guest at a time (at the restaurant). Imagine being rudely stopped in front of other guests at the reception on the 3rd day of your stay at the hotel for not registering my wife's documents (which I had submitted but they failed to register due to lack of internal communication). I so wish this hotel to do good but its not gonna happen until they start treating their guests with respect.

I love the ambiance. Hotel should be more specific about the parking. I was waiting for the parking slot for more than 15 minutes. If the hotel works on good parking staff, I think this is one of the best at that cost.

Worst customer service I ever had in my life. Just wasted my money. Irresponsible staff. No one wants to take a responsibility here. It seems I'm in a lodge. I need to call 10 times for a small things. I will not suggest anyone to come here n I am not gonna come back. Worst hotel.

The Jewel of Nizam at the Golkonda Hotels, Masab Tank is one of the nicest restaurants in a star property. The whole place is so elegant and royal that you are transformed into a different era the moment you step into it. The place has been built using a lot of Nizam era artifacts, paintings, jewelry, war tools like swords adorn the walls. The crockery and cutlery is mostly silver. Coming to the food, JON offers an array of traditional Hyderabadi dishes and is one of the few places where you can find Hyderabadi haleem throughout the year. The biryanis are to die for and don't forget to finish off with double ka mittha and the anokhi kheer (made of white onions).

Their jewel of the Nizam restaurant is really nice for authentic Hyderabadi food.

We only stayed here for one night on our way to another destination and we were very happy with the service. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorted and the food was nice. I found the staff friendly and helpfull.

I am a good coffee lover and I had enjoyed the best black coffee there. My cheif used to stay in the hotel when he is to Hyderabad on official trips and never got a bad rating. Food and ambience are too good.

There Was a sizzler festival going on and sizzler being one of my Weaknesses We set out for a great evening With some great food. This Was my first visit to Golconda so Was not sure What to expect, alWays seen this building occupying a royal seat in the centre of Hyderabad like forever. The ambience inside could meet With some improvements, but overall it's a decent fare. Service Was a one man shoW, We should thank him, as he never flinched and never missed to be in our attendance as and When We reached out to call him. But maybe they could add in some more people to attend to all. We ordered the Chapli Ghosht sizzler, this Was served With about five Chapli Ghosht along With basmati rice, plated on a lettuce base. The Chapli Was really good, and We didn't stop till We doWned them all. Soft on the inside, nicely done on the outside, just the right salt and Spice. Missed a little of the french Wedges on the side or a bit of mint chutney to top it all but Well done, something unique.

We hade a party. The service is very good. Food is excellent. I am happy with the improvement in the service. Few people like it, few don't like, unless u experience u never know once try. I feel it is a very good hotel I love staying in golkonda.

Loved the hotel but the room was ok. We stayed for 2 nights, the first choice room was used last by a smoker so we were moved. The room was a little tired and could be better but at the price it was fine. The food was really nice in the restaraunt as well as a good choice for breakfast. I think some of the recent reviewers need to realise that for the price paid this is a great place to stay. The service throughout was really good although guests services was a little slow. However they did press several garments to compensate. Wifi was really bad. It's not the best hotel in the world but I would stay again and would recommend.

Don't ever think of staying in this hotel. First of all, this is not at all a 4 star hotel as the facilities provided here don't even match with 3 star. Poor ambience, poor facilities oooh. No hot water in the bathroom, faded upholstery, limited food choice that too at a very high cost. Better to go to some 3 star hotel rather than spending money here. Also, electricity problem which is quite frequent.

This was one decent hotel in hyderabad. You could just come in 30-45 min from airport and had decent service. but today 6th dec'14, staying in room# 223 has been the most pathetic experince in this golconda hotel. since the time I entered my room, it is in depleted state, the bathrooms are dirty, the side curtain fell of the rail. The mini bar fridge is empty and worse, I have been asking for bottled water on chargeable basis if hotel has cost saving issues but spoke 3 times to various people in guest service and room service but the guys do not bother. i think time is up golconda hotel. Your downfall starts. For me my last stay in such a pathetic maintained and service of the hotel.
