Amazing place for a quiet and quick get away, great hospitality, delicious food, surroundings are so so soothing, felt great royal experience with bughi ride every time commuting in n out. Large spread of breakfast is the highlight of the palace. Highly recommended dinner at gol bungalow with the soothing n beautiful view of Hyderabad city with cold breezes.

Visited with 3 friends for lunch. The setting and the location was wonderful.
The food was well above average.
Unfortunately for the price I would say the service was awful.
I would not go again because there is far better value for money elsewhere but to experience once was a delight.

Such a beautiful tranquil location steeped in so much history. It really made feel like a princess. Front desk staff Mohammed Qayyum service was second to none and couldn’t have been any more helpful.
The heritage walk is a must see to truly indure the richness of the palace and hosted by a very informative guide. Definitely a place I will go back and stay.

I visited Taj Falaknuma Palace for dinner at Adaa with my clients last night. With brand taj, I expected a royal experience and hospitable staff, however that went terribly wrong. During the visit, me and clients were stuck in traffic so requested to have someone to assist on palace tour if by chance we didn’t make it on time, but the staff in a very rude manner responded that the historian is available only at 9pm and if you are late you can explore on your own, howev…er fortunately we could make it for the tour 15 mins late. The palace was undoubtedly magnificent. Another turn off was the food. We ordered some mocktails which was at room temperature — big turn off. Another turn off was food — the starter salmon fish was hard to chew with no good marination, rara gosht had a pungent smell and chewy. Biryani was ok but the mutton in Biryani was hard and chewy. Ordered two deserts — double ka meetha was really good but malai puri tasted horrible. The staff tried apologised after seeing my feedback they were very courteous at that moment. So overall the palace was splendid and scenic. However I will not recommend anyone to stay or dine at this taj property. A palace visit should be fine.

Just loved the experience… starting from the hospitality of the Faluknama staff at the entrance … to the Faluknama tour by the guide… to our event… followed by Amazing food… Everything was extra ordinary! Would love to visit again!

Such a luxurious and aesthetically beautiful place. The love music when we were there (Sufi singers) were also really good. The food was good and the horse carriage that takes you to the place makes you feel like a king.

This is one of the best experience I had in a long time. The property is so beautiful. The gardens, swimming pool, spa, dinning halls, staircase everything has such an old world charm. The welcome by the hotel in the horse carriage followed by showering of fresh rose petals makes you so special. The staff goes to great lengths to make sure that your stay is comfortable. The food is so heart warming. The room was so beautiful and comfortable. The gym was well maintained and has most of the necessary equipment. Would love to visit here again.

Excellent hotel and everything that goes with it. Staff are very helpful food is excellent so are the rooms very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the ride in the horse drawn carriage from the main gate to the palace. Excellent views and landscape gardens. Good spa staying here is an experience you will never forget. Good value for the money you pay.

We have visited recently for Hi-Tea at Taj Faluknuma Palace. Ambience wise it is out standing. The palace tour and interiors are awesome. The guide was also very good, only thing which disappointed was the snack. The snacks which they served was not worth of that money. It could have been better. Otherwise had a wonderful experience to see such heritage palace…

One of the best Taj properties I have visited. The sheer charm and feel of royalty makes this place stand out. Not to forget the famous Taj hospitality. So was there for my birthday lunch and they took care of every request. The food, the tour, the ambience everything lived up to the name. Finally they got me a surprise cake and bouquet of roses… just made it so special!

Must go place, we had a palace tour for this and I have never experienced any thing better. Be it Ambience, be it hospitality, be it management, everything was just awesome. Kawali in the lawn was also awesome. You can have a look at dining table having 101 seats. You would be amazed looking at the luxury life in the property.

Went to Adaa for lunch today. The palace is beautiful and the service we got at lunch was excellent. The food was amazing. However the restaurant failed to inform us that there is a minimum charge which came as a surprise to us at the end of the meal. We would have appreciated it if we were informed at the making of the reservation which would have made our overall experience even more enjoyable. As an epicure member I am surprised.

Best luxury heritage hotel in city. You can feel like NIZAM during the stay here. Beautiful view of city from 2000ft above. Best time to visit this place is post monsoon, September to January. During summer time this place will be very hot. If you want to just visit the place better to book for a lunch or dinner, than staying in the property. They charge around rs4000 per person for dinner during weekends.

Superb experience of living through the yesteryears of Hyderabad's rich culture and history! The guided tour that was part of the stay was very informative but the only comment that I have is that pronunciation of the guide was very thick, making it not very clear especially for the foreigners who are not accustomed to Indian accent.

A truly amazing hotel with staff that are amazing. We celebrated a double birthday and the hotel could not have done more. We had birthday greetings written in flower petals, cakes and special menus for our celebration dinner. The heritage suites are huge and totally private, you have a whole wing of the building to yourself. The pool encircles an old banyan tree and is very relaxing. But it is the staff that make it perfect!

Visiting the Taj Falaknuma Palace is a once in a lifetime experience. You will never forget. We especially recommend the tour through the palace. The overall experience is the best. You are taken to the palace by horse cart. They shower you with rose pedals, every where you go, they ask you, if you are okay, what you need. We can highly recommend the hotel — it is unique. The breakfast on the Terrasse is unforgettable. They have two restaurants — Italian and Indian — we tried both — very good. The pool is romantic. Overall very satisfied.

Can't give more than 5 stars the best hotel / palace in India. Most expensive and most luxurious. You will feel like a king. The only place in the world which can accommodate 100 people on a single dining table.

Had an opportunity to stay here. The place belongs to the famous Taj group. The name itself suggest the facilities provided inside with large rooms. The variety of cuisine served.

The Taj Falaknuma Palace is luxury redefined. The interiors are beautifully preserved and it still holds the aura and charm of the yesteryears. We were also able to attend the tour of the palace and it was amazing.

Great experience, went there for the afternoon tea and tour, all very charming. A lot of food is included in the high tea so make sure you show up on time to enjoy it. The palace and grounds are beautiful and the tour was informative. I don't understand the huge fuss about requiring an advance reservation — — on a prior trip to Hyd we trekked there only to find that they didn't allow you to dine at any of the restaurants without a prior reservation, but really a reservation only took a call on the day of.

What an amazing experience we had when we visited last week. We were seated at the Jade Terrace for dinner and the views are truly amazing (was an upgrade at the Following Bungalow had many guests and the rain had Redford the usable space). The service is out of the world and impeccable. The Chef's menu was so very tasty and each with a unique flavour. The service was above and beyond and made our special occasion even more special. The staff are attentive at every moment but also give you the privacy needed. The Qawwali singers truly add an immense charm to the place. The complimentary cake and wine made it even better. One of the best meals ever and worth every penny this. The experience from booking, to the email exchanges for preferences, till the finish was truly without any blemish Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

There is a tour of the palace during the day for about 30 minutes where you're taken around the different rooms of the palace. Very fascinating. What caught my eye was the 101 Seater Dinner table. It's a great destination if you're staying there or are into palace tours, etc. You could either stay in one of the plush rooms/ suites, where the service is absolutely amazing. Or else visit for some fixed packages for high tea or dinner — both require advance booking. Dinner is preceded by a palace tour, which is an ok first-time experience. There are two restaurants — one each for Arabic Indian cuisine. The best part by far of the experience is the view of the city from the terraces.

Wonderful experience. A great place to soak up on the history of Hyderabad & its Mughal raj of the last century. Every part of the palace has history and the workmanship in wood, glass and marble is a must see. If you get the opportunity to stay enjoy the cuisine and the fabulous views. Its worth it if you have two days to spare while in Hyderabad.

Faluknama palace was built by Nizams prime minister as such it is a historical monument. In 2000 Taj Hotels  started renovating and restoring the palace.  The renovated hotel was opened in November 2010. This luxury hotel is suitable for rich families stay.

Loved the experience, could not have asked for more, the palace is remarkable and is premium heritage hotel operated by Taj group. Royalty is the peak here, and in addition to it you have a breathtaking view of Hyderabad city, they offer a while different level of hospitality and food. Truly a nawabi experience. Just one word Awesome!

This is a very nice place. Recommend to visit. The view is beautiful with full city view. The palace is glamorous. However, Its very hard to make a reservation for dinning or afternoon tea. Even the dinning service is not up to 5 stars level standard. Serving drinks without straw. Serving tea without tea spoon. And they dun know what to serve with guests' order. This is not accepted experience in such famous high rating hotel.

This place is more than just food and drinks. The palace showcases the luxurious life which the Nizam lived. There was a palace tour for 30min and I have no words to describe the palace. The Taj Group took this palace on lease in 1995 and they took 10 years to restore the lost glory. I will say it is beautifully maintained. Coming to the lunch/dinner part you are allowed inside the gate only if you have a reservation. Myself and my wifey were here to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to Aparazzi for following up with the Reservations Team from last 1 month to book the table. She had few hiccups booking the table but the experience at the palace was just WOW! We had a reservation at the Gol Bungalow and we opted for Indian Food. In this place they have a 5 course set menu. You will have a superb view of the city while you enjoy your dinner with your loved one. You are treated like a king. The most lavish dinner I have ever had till date. They served the Tomato Dhaniya shorba to start off the dinner. The quantity was less I thought but realised later that the size of the portion was just right. Followed by few starters — 1. They served us Zimikand shikampuri kabab which was just yum. Very unique. This is the first time I was tasting this and I was blown away by the taste. 2. Bharwan Paneer Tikka — The softest paneer I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection. 3. Aloo kairi ki tikki — After having the other 2 starters I felt this was a let down. It lacked flavour.

Im 2010 The Royal Place Turned in to Royal Hotel. Guests still receive a royal level of service.  the horse carriage Once Used by King takes you up to the palace with rose petals showered. The palace has a 101 seat dining hall, considered the largest in the world.

Terrible experience. It was never mentioned that a booking has to be done 48 hours in advance. However when I arrived, this was told to us and we were not even allowed to enter. It was neither a weekday nor a holiday or a festival. The management was extremely rude at the entrance itself and that was enough to spoil our impression of the place.
