It's not as we expected. Food is good. But the crowd is too high. We can't find the pleasure atmosphere as was there every time

We went Taj Arena for dinner. Wonderful service and very good food. We have small kid who was roaming all around but the staffs were extremely friendly and were taking care of our kid. We would highly recommend Taj Deccan.

Taj has maintained it's class in terms of service, gratitude and it's ambience. One of the finest hotel where they win client's trust and will let them feel special and provide the luxurious stay.

Very convenient location, extremly cozy and Best Food. Only issue is the music played at marriage and other progs which r running parallely in hotel reaches your rooms which disturbs the peace.

Taj has a good ambience but this do lack of certain things. Those are
1. Management is pretty slow.
2. Food decided during food tasting were not served during my wedding. Taste of certain items were downgraded.
3. On the day of my function, my function organizers faced lots of delay as Taj as not cleared the venue.
4. They had function previously before mine, they used same table flowers in my function without changing which was kind of awful.
5. No one was there to help old age people near the lift where they used to use key card to climb up, unfortunately key card was also not working effectively that moment. We had to waste alot of time due to that.
6. Bookeed triple occupany rooms but were given double.
7. Key cards were not handed over on time for the green rooms but they came before time to collect them back from us. These are pretty major concerns with Taj Deccan which they need to work on.

My Birthday was on October 18th, and my family choose to celebrate my birthday in Taj Deccan, it was an amazing experience, lovely hotel, so beautifully decorated, the welcome was awesome, felt like at home, the food was so delicious and the rooms r so beautiful, the hospitality was so good, this Birthday will be so memorable for me, thank u Taj Deccan for making my day, I would love to visit again and again. The female staff were so pleasing, thank U Dear Jeniffer And minoli For Ur sweet gesture of love shown to me, it was a pleasure talking to both of u.

A great place to stay … The staff is simply wonderful… the ambiance awesome… the location strategic… would love to go back and stay again.

On ordering room service these guys are eager for payment … they will not even let you finish your meal and call your room and send a guy for payment while you are having food … they don't let you eat in peace … atleast for in house guests they should behave respectfully … disappointing.

Nice place to stay at a very reasonable tariff. Excellent morning breakfast. You can feel the wood and heavy vineer in rooms. Well maintained despite being old property. I guess Hyderabad otherwise is also reasonable place for hotels.

One of the 5 Taj properties in Hyderabad. This one is a 5 star property. A well maintained hotel. Rooms are good but the aging is started showing off. Swimming pool and gym are good. Breakfast spread could have been better. I guess it is concentrated more on to non indian crowd which the hotel has in decent numbers.

The experience of its own kind. The ambiance, the hospitality and the food. All are great. The food choice and the preparations are great. The desserts always leave you with a flavor on your taste buds. It's a place where you can really enjoy the meal.

Attended a seminar in Taj Deccan. It was very good experiencing the hotel. Staff was so polite towards customers, super clean environment. All the amenities are provided. No negative remarks to point out. Overall best experience.

It was great. Hospitality and service was even better than the food. The spread was nice, different, not too overwhelming. Fantastic, Great Hotel, Great Food, Great Service. Hotel is located at very good locality. On arrival you will receive a signature TAJ warm welcome. Rooms are large and maintained nicely. Very comfortable beds. Cleanliness is very well maintained. Food is great. Staff is very attentive and supportive.

The hotel is at a very prime location in the city. The service is good. The rooms are also nice, but could use a little more attention to detail from the housekeeping management. Edit: The management responded to this review very promptly and painted the bathroom in our absence. Extremely impressed by the attention to customer satisfaction.

Its a beautiful hotel in the prime location. I had breakfast and lunch there. Breakfast is nice and lunch is not bad. Good Ambience. But the tables and chairs in the conference. Rooms are age old. Nails coming out of them.

We had a team party… the place is calm and we'll maintained. We had our party in Syn grill n bar. In starters we liked fish, sushi (prawn) and rolls. Buffet was set up outside and the spread was good. Live counter was amazing and fresh mango rasmalai was good.

Taj Deccan high is famous and one of the oldest hotels in Hyderabad it is near by other Taj hotels in that area. Located in Banjara hills main road, easily accessible to all parts of the side. Attended a business event here where the Banquets are very pleasant and food is great.

We booked the Deluxe suite and it was upgraded to the Presidential Suite free of cost. The rooms vere vast and the whole experience was luxurious. The only gripe was there were no health faucets in the bathrooms. Breakfast could be tad better. Other than these the experience is top notch.

Good one… Service is quite good… During my first day ka stay. Ac of my room was not functioning. The staff came and immediately fixed it up. Good ambience to be here.

Visited Syn with colleagues and guests. The restaurant is virtually empty yet the service is slow and at times non existent. It's mostly one experienced person assisted by a bunch of ametuers. However the food, especially the vegetarian fare is pretty good. Limited options for dessert. Overall, a nice and cosy place with inadequate service. If you are accustomed to waiting and have loads of patience, give it a try…

Nice hotel and affordable. Most staff are very nice, attentive and also spoil you a bit but the staff at front office is too pre occupied at all times with some papers. Hotel rooms are nice. Buffet breakfast is very very nice and I recommend the fresh grape juice.

Went to Hyderabad for my friends wedding and we were put up here in this luxury hotel. Taj deccan has been my 1st luxury hotel experience… and I must say I am blown away with the service offered. The room was really good and very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast buffet spreads huge. Had so much offering that we could not indulge in all. Staffs were extremely polite. Enjoyed my stay there.

More number of wallet parking staff to park your car in no time. Easy to locate hotel while driving, the hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. Buffet dinner menu had lot of items. Enjoyed the salads and deserts. Overall experience was awesome.

As always, excellent service and very comfortable stay. It is always a pleasure staying at any Taj property. Only problem was with the bathroom. Needs to be remodelled to prevent bath water from flooding the whole bathroom. Should also provide a bidet.

I visited Taj Deccan Hyderabad on Oct 2017. Its located nearby Airport in the heart of the city. Service provided by Staff and full team was the best in all my hotel history. Food quality was very good. Rooms are very spacious with many facilities. Some events/concerts also happen in the evening. Free Breakfast depends on what package you book. Free Wi-Fi till you check out. Mostly rooms had the best Wardrobe, fridge, Snack items and Alcohol. Cleanliness is awesome. Its a quiet place. I give 5 stars.

Elegance is the word. There may be a lot of new luxury hotels now-a-days, but this one stands forever. It has the perfect banquet hallwith amazing chandeliers. What an ambience to be with colleagues and business partners for their meetings.

It's a very nice Five Star Hotel. Most I love about this hotel is the environment. There was beautiful garden and also you can listen to beautiful live performance by the singer. The melodious music would take you to the heaven.

This premium hotel hosts many exhibition and sale under Ultimate destination of shopping. Ofcourse this place is a fabulous and very well maintained decorum, staff. Pricey rooms, easy to notice from the normal traffic. Check out the ongoing sale picture.

Their Spice Junxion restaurant offers a mix of South Indian and Indian coastal cuisine, including delicacies from Bengal, Chettinad, Kerala and Andhra. Its an ideal place for family gathering for special lunches and dinners. The seating is comfortable and the service is awesome. Must visit and you will enjoy your moments at Spice Junxion.

Rooms were decent. But the Buffet priced at 1500/ — was bad as compared to the pricing. While checking-in, the lady at reception didn't seem hospitable. Overall experience was less than Okay.

Very old and out dated rooms. Smelly Old furniture, sure to make you sleepless. Dirtiest Hot water kettle in room. If condition of room kettle is this, then God only knows, how the kitchen can be. See below pics. Never seen such a smelly Taj group hotel.

Pleasant place to board in. The lobby was good. Pool was also big enough for 30/40 people. Had black coffee at the pool side and it was made perfectly. Expensive but worth it. Just been only to arena coffeeshop for a business meet, never visited the hotel or booked a room.

Long way to go to reach the high standards of Taj group, it's a property of GVK resorts. Old yellowish towels, not much facilities in the rooms, elderly dark staff, many of them have poor personality, understanding levels lower than expected. Needs urgent attention by top management. My first stay!

One of the big and spacious hotel in Hyderabad. Once I visited to attend an educational fair. The staff behaviour found good. Spacious parking area with good gardening.

I actually visited the hotel for just an expo so I didn't get a chance to look over the hotel we were given a hall for all the needs of the expo, but the hall we very spacious, it easily accommodated over 200 students. The hall was all good, air conditioned with some sweet perfume smelling around. Overall I had a very good opinion about the hotel.

The service quality is really good. The biggest problem is the rooms. They don't fit in the bracket of 5 star. Absolutely below that level.

We booked this hotel on British Airways and got a heck of a deal. The staff was so committed to making our stay very pleasant that they would do anything for us… and they did. The breakfast buffet varied everyday we were there and is included in the price of the room.

Beautiful interiors! I drank peanut butter milk shake there. That was my favourite milk shake drank ever.

Good property, good and helpful staff, ideally located, ample parking places and well managed, but I have noticed this hotel doesn't have a resting or sleeping place for chauffeur's who bring the guest here and they stay overnight here in property, I was here for 5 nights with my clients here from 20th. Jan. 2015 to 24. Jan. 2015= 5 nights and I slept inside my car these days, and there is no Toilet facility for the chauffeurs here, one is there on the basement but it's not a toilet, it's a place where stinking, smelling, unclean, non hygiene room with all Gutka spitted corners, that will be good if you can just keep a clean toilet at least for drivers who are coming there from outside, or make your place clean, when entire country is thinking about clean India. Such a great brand like Taj can't keep a toilet as clean.

I visited Syn a restaurant at this hotel. Usually I have found this hotels staff to be courteous and hospitable but I guess it was unfortunate that I stumbled at hands of some amateur in charge of the "SYN" bar and restaurant. He calls himself Deepak. (Rest. Manager). My friend and me entered and he started looking at us in a very stupid manner, then he started almost walking with us and I asked what’s the matter. He said bar is closed. It appeared strange to me as people were sitting and enjoying food and drinks. I said that all are here; he insisted that we leave and sit outside. What crap was that, made me feel that I am trespassing someone’s property? How can you ask a guest to leave your restaurant when your restaurant is open? Is it a hospitality?, I just hope that I don’t meet this dude — Deepak again. You never know – I can also have some moment. Well, is Syn worth going? — Probably yes, I will go again but I just hope that this guy gets some coaching. Taj is not known for such rude, ill-mannered and discourteous employees. I think customer service is strange to him or he thinks that Taj is his father’s hotel. Whatever, what a spoilsport and sad experience.
