Friendly staffs. Calm and silent Property and of course not to mention the greenary. Great garden and park… Recreation centre for indoor activities like table tennis, carom. They also have rooms with private heated swimming pool, I would certainly recommend that.

Greenwood’s Resort is one of the best places in Kerala especially Kumily,. It was very pleasure and enjoyable stay with our loved ones! I stayed there for one single night plus day was really cherish and memorable with my family.! And moreover it’s fully greenish place

Visited Greenwoods after getting a recommendation from my friend and it was worth. Especially the ambiance, service and food were awesome. Any one can select this resort without any second thought and enjoy each nd every moment there. Each staffs deserves a standing ovation for the care they are giving to the customers.
Make sure every one selects the package with the dinner. Fabulous! Taste. Wahhh! Will visit again for sure. Thumbs up for all the staffs over there.

One of the best resort I have stayed so far. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. Booked indraparstha villa with private pool which given us more comfort and kids enjoyed the most in pool, very clean, clear water and very well maintained (villa and pool). As name says Greenwoods is with full of different types of trees and very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment.
Overall it was great experience and excellent hospitality from the team.

I don't know where to start from — Breathtaking Ambience, wonderful, humble, understand, great staff members. Extremely well maintained property. It is heaven in itself. The amazing well planned activities to the indoor games.
Everything was beyond Perfect. If anyone think the word perfection doesn't exist should visit Greenwoods. I loved the room's the food, the menu, the taste.
I can just go on and on and on about it.
I can't wait to be back for sure.

We dream of going back for a longer stay…

As the name suggest it is full of greenery with lots of variety of trees and good to learn about them. Estate walk, bunnies, turkey, duck, cow are good for kids. Activity room keeps you active. Hospitality is amazing and take care of all your needs. Travel tours are as per market rates.

A very ecological place. No water in plastic bottle. Only glass. Bravo. In the midst of lush vegetation. Charming accommodation.

Excellent hotel with extremely courteous staff! The food and the hospitality were great! Do visit the tree top cafe and the animal farm when you go there. I enjoyed my stay at Greenwoods!

We had booked the honeymoon package. One night at the private Villa with pool and one night at the vanya tree house. The Villa was cozy, neatly maintained and afforded us privacy. The best part was the courteous staff who took utmost care to make our stay comfortable. The meals were delicious and the candle light dinners were absolutely dreamy. The variety of entertainment arranged was fascinating. The tree house is a breathtaking beauty. The climb was arduous for us but there summit was worth it. Wonderful experience all in all and we will definitely be going back.

A wonderful hotel. Great rooms, wonderful staff who truly want to please. We stayed two nights in the hotel and one night in the treehouse (recommend). We loved every moment and would not hesitate to recommend. It was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our tour of Kerala. There’s so much to see and do in and around the hotel, wished we could have stayed longer.

We had visited the property with our parents and kids. It was the second time we were in this beautiful place. We had an excellent and memorable experience for those 2 days. The stay was really comfortable. The pool villas are superb and it's indeed a wonderful thing to enjoy a private pool with no restrictions. Our parents also had the chance for it. Also the property is very lovely and serene. It's so fresh in the morning and cozy at night. Various activities like kids play area, tree tea shop, cooking demo, documentary featuring, art performance, local place visits etc adds to the visit. The main point of interest is the delicious food served. It's so elegant tasty and qualitative and quantitative. The staff are well trained and professional and they are sincerely at the service round the clock. The chef deserves the major part of the restaurants excellency. The place can surely be chosen for spending a great time in your holidays.

A great ambiance with a lot of truly hospitable people around. Food is is great and the chef would be there at the restaurant in case if you want to know more about the food options. There is an interesting property tour inside the resort, don't miss it.

A well kept place in natural surroundings with friendly staff.

Amazing 6-acre property with trees all around. Rooms are excellent. Centrally located hotel. Excellent food. Courteous staff including the chefs. The hotel also has a cooking demo followed by a documentary followed by a traditional dance every evening! If you want the real Kerala experience do stay in Greenwoods Resort, Thekkady!

Excellent resort. Tons of activities on site to keep you occupied and a short walk to town and Periyar if you get bored of the resort. The only issue I had with the resort was that they take your room number down for the activities, which suggests to me that you need to pay, but then don't charge. I think the customer experience could be improved by telling the customer that the room number will be taken down but no charge will be applied. On a fun note, they have a treetop cafe and it is awesome!

Our stay was perfect, too short. If we had known this hotel was in such an ideal area of Kerala we would have stayed longer, and would definitely recommend it. The people were so helpful, friendly and their service was wonderful. My husband missed not being able to buy beer, but you can get over that. The lassi is delicious. The chef put on a great cooking demo, and the dancing was a bonus for us. Our room was perfect and such nice touches of flowers and view. Extremely comfortable.

One of the best places I've visited so far… Best place for relaxation… If you come here spare one full day to explore the Resort because it is very huge and there are so much to do here. The food is also awesome here. I will always visit this place again and again.

Excellent Hospitality! Excellent hotel with excellent location, extremely clean & comfortable. It was the most perfect day from the entire trip to Kerala. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this! ) and the restaurant Chef deserves a special thanks. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff, she makes our trip more interesting with her advice & tips about the city, supermarket, shops are within walking distance. There are different cultural programs organised by them like Yoga, the Nature walk, Sari/Dhoti Demonstration, Ethnic Cuisine Demonstration and many more. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again for going just that little step extra for the guests!

We loved our stay here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent. There are lots of plants, trees, and animals on the property — so you really feel like you are staying in the woods. We were a bit surprised that we couldn't order a drink here while on vacation but this is a Kerala State policy, not the hotel's fault.

Amazing experience, the staff is really courteous they have various in house activities which we all enjoyed such as property tour, cooking, draping saree and all. The rooms and service is good, they have all necessities like any other 4star resort. Dinner buffet is expensive but overall it was a good stay. Will recommend this as one of the best resorts in Thekkady.

We had a pleasure of staying for 2 nights at this beautiful resort during our recent holidays to South India.
We will never forget the hospitality we enjoyed. The staff were very helpful. Food was fantastic. We attended cookery lesions and were very impressed.

Perfect Stay for Honeymoon A really good hotel. Excellent staff, very nice room ambiance with a good size and well appointed bathroom, plenty of hot water. Very good restaurant with superb food. Everyone take an interest, the Executive Chef spends more time in the dining room.

Awsome Resort starting with their warm welcome with cardomn garland … yummy food, spacious n calm restaurant. Superb ambience, neat n tidy surrounding, well maintained n spacious cottages with all facilities, neat n vast pool, tree coffee house, camp fire, kids play area n above all with amazing n lvly staff. They cared my daughter like myself. It is really a forest jst in d heart of d city… wen v enter the gate right from the heart of city which smells spices everywhere, complete picture changes. Green green every were… mind still there… luking for a chance to visit again… luv u ppl… defenite recommend 4all who wish to visit Thekkady.

No wonder, this place is so highly rated! Staff is wonderful and they really make this experience a memorable one. Good food, nice ambeince in the rooms and within the property. The location is great as it centrally located, but at the same time you never feel that you are in the middle of the town. Kids too loved the place. Would love to be back here.

We stayed at Greenwood Thekkady only one night but the experience was great. It's right in the center of town with shows n bus stop nearby. Staff was very courteous and food delectable. I will definitely revisit it n recommend it to all visiting Thekkady.

Unforgettable Awesome Trip! We stayed there from Oct 14-16 2017. Very warm welcome got room before check in time. Its a huge property with its own plantations cultivated with different spices and unknown tree (New to know). Cattle for Cow and birds is so nice never seen in any resort. Entire property is well utilized and we'll maintained. Good use of recycle of water used for plantation. The tree house coffee shop is the best place. List of activities to get involved in Jeep Rides (Falls, Thekkady View Point, Tower, Herbal Plantation) and Elephant Ride, Trek to Vanya Tree House, yoga, cook, Kerala Dress Demonstration, Thekkady Documentary). The food was fantastic and the staffs were so caring. Appreciating Staffs help and activeness in work. Extremely Good Place to Visit and Enjoy!. Don't Miss it to Visit Nature of God.!

A serene place just in heart of city next to KSRTC bus station. But once you are inside it's a different all together. Very well maintained property and staff are very friendly and kind. Quality and taste of food is notable. Definitely I recommend Green Woods if you visiting Thekkadi.

Excellent place to stay. All staff including front office, restaurant are very helpful and caring. Its value for money. We visited this resort 2 times and found that this place has grown better and better in its service.

Love the place… In the heart of Kumily town, but once you enter it feels like a resort in a remote area… Very friendly and helpful staff, decent sized rooms, good food, great value for money.

Its a good resort and you will enjoy it more if you are from other states… the resort has a very large area and is focussed on projecting kerala tradition and recommended for visitors who are interested in getting a feel about ketala tradition.
