Awesome location, very good hospitality, staff is very warm, food is good. SPA treatment is a good experience and yes morning trek with Phillip is a wonderful experience. It is a very informative trek abt local plants, tree plantation history of Munnar. I highly recommend this place.

I visited this place with family this Onam vacation. Rooms and service were nice. Food was clean and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful cottages and compound. Lot of flower plants and greenery around. Trekking with Mr. Philip was really memorable. We enjoyed! Thanks a lot!

Stayed at Munnar tea country resort for 2 days and must say it was a memorable experience. Their cottages are designed brilliantly, providing enough space at 2 levels with clean environment both inside and outside. Window and balcony give a beautiful valley view. Their staff is amiable and helpful. They are always smiling and ready to provide suggestions to anything you ask for. Being a North Indian I was sceptical to talk to people in a state with completely alien language, but the staff didn’t let me feel that and ensured we were comfortable. Lastly, my review will be incomplete if I don’t mention the great food they provided. I never felt I was in south India with super amazing North Indian food.

I had a small fall in my room. Their staff, Cecil and Arun and Manoj and other staff members went way beyond what they are suppose to do to help out. They have brought meaning to hospitality to a different meaning. DONT KNOW how to thank them, just hope that God continue to bless the staff with greatness always.

Polite, friendly staff, ever ready to be at service for the guests, what ever the requirement be! Well maintained neat cottages, variety of options of rooms & sizes, amazing view of the valley from the in-house view point. Tasty food. Best place to unwind onself, away from the crowd, close to nature!

Stayed in this resort for a few days. It offers great views. Everything was great. I would recommend staying here. They offer a free nature walk every morning, which is a must. Its guide, Philip, is great. Also, the spa was good too. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

One of the Best Service experience. The view of the valley is awesome from there. The resort has good spa, trekking facilities. The restaurant and reception is also good. Small activity room also. You live with Nature for few days. They follow exp friendly process hence it was more exciting.

Fantastic place, with great and friendly staff, who go all out to help us feel as if we are at home. Food is equally good with organic veggies and you get the feeling that you are at home seeing their ever smiling faces. Overall a must visit place.

Awesome resort and beautiful place to spend your holiday with… the resort is located approximately 10 km outskirts of Munnar city and surrounded by green lash valley and tea gardens… the resort is built in the concept of go green… the entire resort is surrounded by different plants, flowers… in the morning you will wake up with the sounds of bird chirping… and beautiful flowers are welcoming your morning… Food is awesome and you will get all varieties from north indian, south indian to continental… The restaurant has got mountain views and u can enjoy your meal in the midst of nature… They provide free trekking to tea plantation sites from the hotel in the morning and evening and you can enjoy the nature at the fullest at the time of trekking… The staffs are very friendly and co-operative and give full support to make your stay wonderful… Overall awesome experience we had with them and we wish that we are gonna stay again there when we will visit Munnar…

Visited in last week of May'18. We stayed in horizon view villa. The room was lovely, boasting a seating area with couch, dining table, a small kitchenette, fridge, and bathroom on ground floor, and bed, TV, and storage space on mezzanine floor. The balcony on the mezzanine floor near the bed opens to the stunning view of horizon of Munnar hills. It was all foggy as if we were living in the clouds. Service was topnotch, and food was excellent. The staff at the reception was friendly and welcoming. Only draw back is the location of the resort, it's far away and remotely located. You won't find anything nearby the resort, be it convenience store, medical store, or eateries. All in all, we had an excellent stay at Munnar Tea County. Would certainly recommend it.

The most wonderful experience we've had! Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful ambience, clean rooms and the beautiful scenery made this the best trip we've had so far. A must visit!

Great place with amazing views. You don't have to go to any other view point to take in the amazing views! Compact (given the valley landscape and eco restrictions, all resorts are compact) and clean. Very good service — courteous and prompt. Staff go the extra mile to accommodate your requests. Restaurant has decent variety, fast room service and they were sweet to make a special kids platter. Restaurant also has a great view. Could get slightly crowded at breakfast, so go early. There is a beautiful terrace, amphitheatre open to the valley. A small game room and kids play area. Missing a gym. Overall a brilliant choice in this price range.

What I liked the most is their hospitality. From a warm welcome till the departure, every staff greeted us with a smile and attentiveness. Further, the location is very beautiful with a nice view of horizon and valley. The rooms (valley view) we had were well maintained. Food was tasty with broad variety in it. I personally liked their idiyappam very much :).   We took their spa service and the experience was very soothing. Particularly the head massage. In all I have only Pros for this place and no Cons. Keep it up! Definitely going back there for sure.

Reached the resort after a long journey and it did not disappoint. The staff were kind and helpful. The rooms and location and amazing. The food here is better than anything I've had anywhere else. 13/10 would recommend this hotel.

Very good place with many flowers. Staff here are very friendly. Good place for kids aswell since their is activity room for them. Food is to good. The normal food and Kerala food both are very good. And their is trekking provided by the resort which is very Good. All over nice place to stay for everyone. It is good place for photography too since many birds come here. Very scenic place.

Awesome experience, great hospitality, polite staff and beautiful location. Must do thing their is trekking with Phillip but I would say walk in nature with Phillip (I had with manu). It was great experience and thanks MTCR for life long awesome memories

We stayed in the Valley View Villa for 2 days in January 2018. Overall, we had a great experience. The rooms were nice and clean, sunset and sunrise views were breathtaking, and the staff was nice and friendly. We highly recommend the complimentary morning trek with Phillip. He will show you many different spice plants growing naturally around the hotel and also take you on a walk through a tea plantation. The restaurant food is expensive but good and has many local dishes.

Very comfortable rooms, great restaurant with buffet breakfast included. The hotel has a great view of the valley and hills. The staff are friendly and helpful and made our stay memorable. The ambience of the hotel is wonderful with gardens and flowers everywhere. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Munnar.

This is a beautiful Munnar hills resort for stay. Located high up in the hills with an be amazing view of the surrounding, MTCR is very reasonably priced for the excellent service and amenities they offer. I'd humbly suggest not taking them up on their food options as they are rather overpriced, but you get the convenience of room service. My partner and I chose to eat outside during our stay there. The bathrooms, beds and general room amenities were top notch, belying it's moderate price. Certainly a high recommendation!

The staff was amazing and extremely accomidating. When my father and I fell sick they were giving us remedies to help us feel better. When my mother wanted a certain food that they didn't have at the time they made it specially for her. The hotel itself has a badminton court which you can play on. Additionally their activity room was full of games such as ping pong and chess. The rooms were beautiful with an amazing view. The room had 2 beds and a TV. The food was delicious and the staff was there for our every need. The tour with Mr. Phillip was one of the best tours I've taken. He was very knowledgeable and was very passionate about the tour. He pointed out all the plants and was very helpful.

It is one of the best Resorts I have been too. The staff is always smiling and is very welcoming, the location is marvellous and the trek with Phillip was the icing on the cake. Will definitely visit this place again.

Hotel Staff is best after staying with them for 2 days this will be 1st comment. As they will ensure what all you need and how they can help you and provide detail information about Munnar. Now let me give more detail. Rooms and Property : Neatly maintain and clean we stayed in honeymoon suit which had Hall + Bedroom and small Kitchen and 2 balcony as its 2 floors, Room was comfortable for few days stay. One challenge was to take luggage down to bedroom but it 2 time task Room view is magnificent and endless, in the evening it will complete dark no near by properties so on Full Moon it will be definitely more beautiful. Location wise its not exactly Munnar. Its 15km from Munnar which means 30-40min from down town. Entrance or Approach road to Hotel is challenging if you are driving own vehicle. Food : its good and fine you will get all variety of Kerala. Veg and Non-Veg, Ambiance is okay but again out side view wow. I will still say some improvement for Food Taste but we did enjoy Non Veg option and desert. Breakfast :) Amenities for kids excellent they have special room and games available. So it will good fun. They also arrange trek for physical fitness.

Best place so far in Kerala, very friendly curtious and professional staff. We had a wonderful stay here without worries. Our kids also had a blast. Lots of activities and very kid friendly place. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

"” We were welcomed by Philip (Security Officer) on the 2nd of August 2017 at the car park and the "Hospitality started there itself followed by Jacqueline and All other Front Office staff's overwhelming welcome at the Reception with Jasmine garlands and thilakam on the forehead. Manu introduced us about the hotel and gave us a brief description about Munnar. After check in we thought of having lunch at the Panorama Restaurant and it was a brilliant experience as the Restaurant got fantastic views and the variety in the menu was awesome. We had a very good lunch and the service was impeccable. Sadly I forgot the name of the staff who served our Lunch. He was so polite and friendly.
In the evening we went for trekking with Philip. Philip is a good human being, very polite and knowledgeable person. He explained each and every thing about the Tea plantation and All the other plants and crops around Munnar. It was a great experience trekking with Philip.
Next day we went for sight seeing and when we came back there was a great surprise in our both rooms. The rooms were cleaned nicely and they made our beds beautifully with flower petals and different towel arrangements. Special thanks to Manu, Viji and Vini who did the hard work behind.

We visited Munnar Tea Country Resort in July 2017. This was my first time in Munnar and I travelled with my daughter who had already visited before. She felt that this property was one of the best that she has stayed in the South of India and particularly Munnar due to the hospitality experienced. The staff made it a memorable stay, in particular Manoj who created a homely atmosphere by playing badminton with the guests and always providing a service with a smile. Emmanuel was also very helpful, was a pleasure to have a conversation with and ensured we had a comfortable stay. Elizabeth at the reception was also lovely and charming. One of the highlights of our stay was the 6:30am Spice plantation walk with Philip. It was a truly authentic experience, and it was clear that Philip is very passionate about what he does! The rooms are spacious, clean, well kept and set over two floors with stunning views of Munnar. The housekeeping also added a special touch by writing a handwritten note in our room wishing us a nice stay. The restaurant had delicious food, and to top it off the views were incredible. In the daytime, there is a chance to have Henna done by one of the staff members, a kids play area, a Spa, and in the evenings a badminton court is set up for people to play under the stars! The location is also very convenient, not too far from the main sights but also far enough to enjoy the tranquility of Munnar.

Really good food, with a wonderful view from the cottages. Be aware, the cottages are joined horizontally and not vertically. The people are very friendly and the restaurant offers a wonderful view.

We stayed at this place last week with all of my family members. It was great experience, astounding view, nicely placed, good services by staff, and nice rooms with all modern facilities. Location was awesome. Morning breakfast was very good. All staffs were very courteous and helpful. The room service was excellent and on time. The morning trek in the tea estate by Mr. Philip was very good activity and It is organized free by the hotel and it was a great experience. They offer some activities within their property like karaoke, Shuttle etc. Which you will enjoy especially when you are going in a big gang family. They have a game room Overall a great find and a great stay… highly recommended! Thanks to all staffs for providing excellent customer Service!

Pretty good resort with all needed things and rooms for honeymooners. Try to take rooms which shows valley you will love it at all times. You even be in clouds for sometime if you are lucky which I was. Pretty good n decent location too near Munnar so go for it without any doubt. You will love it. But little bit expensive but you will not regret.

No words to express how we feel. My husband's gift to me a holiday. Selected this place co's of the Location. The simplicity and the beauty around. The team of staff. Their friendly approach and service is excellent. We had a great time here. Went Trekking with the guide Philip early Morning. Playing Shuttle cork with the staff. Manoj Mano and Manu Gopalakrishnan. Watching a Movie with the staff in the activity hall. And very much privileged to have the company of Manoj Mano on our one day drive to Marayoor and Chinnar Wild Life Sanctuary. The weather was pleasant. Food was really yummy. The whole atmosphere was like a home away from home. The staff arranged a beautiful cake and my Birthday was awesome celebrated with the other guests singing and clapping. Going back tomorrow with beautiful memories and a bunch of friends.

This is a very good resort and is recommended for staying in Munnar.

Very good resort and the rooms are very well designed for a comfortable stay. The hospitality is amazing, would recommend it to all those who area looking for some peace and tranquility. Their activity room is decked with board games and a Table Tennis table to spend time. Only draw back is that there are no other eateries nearby so cant try any authentic Kerala food.
