We visited Saffron restaurant at Shangri la for Ala carte indian dinner with family. Trust me it’s delicious! Every penny was worth. The staff is friendly and nice, great hospitality & service, clean n neat. Not every luxury fine dining is so gud as this one.

Went there for Christmas lunch, and just loved their layout. Each and every food item was so delectable! Everything was on point.

Nice ambience and Hospitality. Just that sometimes the Valet parking people. Dissappear from their spot and no one's bothered to ask if we require valet service. Had to self park and walk back from parking area.

This is a great hotel. Very hospitable. Great rooms, nice rooftop bar.

I like the room design and it's spacious. Even toilet also got speakers so I can enjoy music while using the bath tub. Good Wi-Fi coverage in the hotel, regardless where I went, it was covered (even full coverage in the lifts). Good that the TV got screen mirroring service so that I can connect my tablet to it but it will be better if there is an apple TV connectivity support too. An hour after checked in. The bad experience happened. Someone rang the bell, while I was walking to the door, he already used his card to scan open the door and came in to ask for any room service required. How could this be? How can he just came in like that without my consent? What if I was in the toilet, what if I was naked?

Unbelievable staff, from managers to greeters to kitchen staff to those behind the scene taking phone calls, all super helpful and polite. I have been at the Hotel for a couple months and have gotten to meet many of the staff at Shangri-La, who make the guest experience great! I have names I remember and some I don't, let alone get their spelling correct, so forgive me cos I don't want to leave people out. So why a 4 instead of a 5? there should be a 4 1/2 :) Well responses to resolve issues were quickly taking care of, but some initiative and checking in on a guest staying there for 2 months could have been done. All in all I recommend this Hotel and would be coming back to stay there shortly.

I had a wonderful lunch at b Cafe. They had such a great variety of the options available. I especially enjoyed the desserts! I will definitely go back for their 5 spice chocolate ice-cream and the almond cake. I also picked-up a delicious Fudge mousse cake from the pastry shop!

The hotel is very elegant. The appearance right from the entry, to the interiors is very pleasing and nicely done. The big banquet hall is very posh and has a fantastic appearance. The rooms are very nicely done with very good view. Overall a great hotel. Worth spending time in.

A very well maintained hotel. The staff is super courteous. The meetings can be held very diligently. The food is not spicy. A very mild flavor. The staff steals the show. They are always attentive and polite.

Good service except for them not removing the Crockery from the night before which was left in the room. The body wash in the shower was not refilled. Instructions on how to use the bathtub shower should be explained as it took some time to figure out the taps in the bathroom The concierge was very helpful with collection of our online parcels and when we were out of the hotel The doormen and staff were also very helpful. The chai tea in the morning breakfast was really tasty — great! The food from room service was very tasty and yummy.

Went there for one of our conference events. Very helpful staff. Good food. Great conference arrangements. Parking was comfortable and the location is quite central. Altogether a very good experience.

It was our wedding anniversary and we decided to visit this place. Thanks to the staff who made it even more special by arranging our table with beautiful flowers and candles. The best part was the surprise cake. The view from the 18th floor was superb. Amazing ambience and helpful staff. The food was presented well and tasted yum.

I attention a friend's engagement. The hall is extremely good, food was great and the staff were very courteous. What I specially appreciate is that I left my watch in the washroom. When I called the next day to check if it was in lost and found, the watch was indeed found and kept aside for me to collect by their staff. The staff could have easily kept the watch for themselves but they didn't. Appreciate the honesty and integrity of Shangri-la staff! When I came to collect the watch, it was a very simple process and while I was there, I had tea and sheesha at their coffee shop. Great experience as well. Overall, must visit for every amenity!

I only have great things to say! The hotel has over-exceeded its service level, quality of food, cleaniless and comfort of the hotel room. The size of the room is big and spacious. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed so far as I am a frequent traveller to different countries. Highly recommended! Keep up the great job!

Best part is the roof top restaurant and view from the 18th floor. Whole of Bangalore can be seen. Wonderful aerial view. Looks like you are between the clouds. Restaurant's got a fine dine with fine ambience. Food is a wide variety with the magic done by the best chefs in.

Stayed three days at the Shangri-la Bengaluru. I felt so at home with so many wonderful people here. Daniela, Pratima, Anita, Abhijith, and the other staff at the Horizon Club Lounge were so nice to me that it made me a little sad to leave this place. Jefrin at the Gym was great. He attended to the details of the Gym users preemptinh our needs. He also volunteered to teach me the stretching exercises and did a good job helping me to stretch. He is very knowledgeable and …motivated. Nura and Sonem at the Spa were also very helpful and nice people. Very professional and proficient in their work. You will love the experience here! Keep up the good work! I will be back!

Lovely hotel in city centre. Very clean and tidy. Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and special mention to Mr Danish who made of stay really pleasant! Will definitely return back. Keep up the great work.

The Sunday brunch buffet was really good. Huge variety in terms of food. The best part was the huge play area for kids. Kids were so busy playing and we were happy tasting the different cuisines. Totally worth spending your Sunday there. Something for the entire family!

Oh, I don’t think I can say enough for this. This might be the most luxurious property Bangalore has to offer. The rooms are beautiful, the service incomparable. They offer beautiful views from each room. There are good places in Bangalore to stay but if you want things at another level, stay at Shanghai-la.

It's a nicely decorated place… the buffet spread in Cafe is amazing and very good quality and test… the low point was service… firstly they gave a shaking chair to my father in law… once we seated we asked them how to go about the buffet they said you look around and ask your server to bring the food you want. You can tell in counters and your server will bring the food for you… but for longest of time they can't figure out who's serving us as it was already 2:30 we started getting food for us which ever counters has things ready… others said that food will be served at the table… again wait was too long… we enjoyed the spread but most of us got little lost and end up actually eating mostly starters and desserts… the plus was that everything was nice… being Saturday also it was not that crowded (restaurant) still service was I should say confused as their were servers and they were serving nicely to few tables… but I couldn't figure out what was the confusion as it was a big occasion for us we kind of didn't wanted to get in a bad mood so everyone just picked around and eat what we could get… I really liked the coffee they served at end… and cake was also good…

I have been to this hotel for many occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, wedding receptions, both in their restaurants as well as their party halls (ballroom), and I must say I enjoyed the ambience as well as their hospitality! It was a wonderful experience. The B-Cafe has a wide spread of food and is very tasty! The Saffron is an à la carte North Indian cuisine restaurant. I have been here to celebrate my mother's birthday and my anniversary. Had an awesome experience! Ambience, the taste and presentation of food, and hospitality were just excellent! I keep going back to this place! Overall a satisfied experience!

A 5 star hotel located in the heart of the city with easy access to major attractions of the garden City of India — Bangalore. As it's located in a prime place, please don't expect resort amenities and ambience. It's a tall building. Rooms were very luxurious. Buffet spread was maasssssss.

We wandered into the lobby and had to ask a passing staff member where to check in. — Room was great. — Including buffet breakfast: Food was very good. Service seemed rushed and inattentive. — Food and beverage, in-room and restaurants and bars in hotel was excellent. Pricing was also good. — Generally, service and experience was very good. — * Special mention to Daniela Sansone in guest relations in the Horizon Lounge. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable.

Had a grand time this new year. Decorating was amazing. Overall quite impressed with the place. Rooms are large and spacious. Its a lovely place. Also would recommend for weekend casual stays.

Nice hotel with good staff behaviour, on the top floor you find a bar, in ground floor you find a dining hall with different cuisines available. Food tastes good. At the same time it's expensive too.

Went for Sunday brunch. Utterly disappointed! Worst brunch ever. "Background" music at a level that made normal conversation impossible. Service slow and uninterested. Will not go back.

An excellent hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms are big and spacious with all the modern amenities. The in house restaurant (B Cafe) has a good spread of different cuisines and the food tastes amazing.

I haven't stayed here, only been for dinner. That said, it's absolutely stunning. The food is wonderful, the service is incredible, and the views are completely incomparable. Definitely worth going.

It looks absolutely brilliant! Also the hotel room (I looked at the demo one) is of high quality! Can't wait for it to open! Update: Now I stayed at the hotel after it has opened and it is just amazing! The design of the LED lighting is so cool and futuristic and the food is just delicious, and you have plenty of choices (5 restaurants in total), and the view from the upper floors (of Bangalore Palace) is breathtaking.

Great hotel! Enjoyed my stay. Very spacious room and great staff, always ready to assist where necessary. Pity, the language barrier at times when you make requests from stewards in the restaurant. The concierges were quite helpful on info regarding transport and attractions. Did I mention the food? Choices as far as the eye can see, both local and international. Should stay there again if I do get to visit Bangalore.

I had a fabulous experience. The hotel is stunningly beautiful, rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff were courteous, responsive and helpful. My fiancè and I had hosted our post engagement party at the sky deck and our guests were happy with the service and food. Jay and Maria from Hype were helpful throughout the planning and execution of our party. I wanted to use CHI as it was highly recommended, however, they were fully booked for the day, I'll visit again for that.

The enormity of the place will keep you in a state of awe. The beautifully done interiors clubbed with the enormous space inside gives you a feel as though you just stepped into a royal palace. Haven’t stayed here although I would like to someday, I visited this place to have a late night dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. Worth the money.

With beautifully done interiors, the hotel feels grand yet homely. The selection of restaurants is truly amazing. We tried the buffet at the B-Cafe and had the most delectable, authentic and huge selection of dishes across several cuisines including Indian, Oriental, Mediterranean, Italian and more! We loved the time spent and definitely going back for more!

Recently stayed here on a business trip. Hotel was beautiful and the staff and amenities were great. Only tried a couple of the restaurants they had, but they were pretty good for a hotel. The only issue I had (hence the four stars) was that they made me switch rooms about halfway through my stay. Didn't really give much of an explanation as to why I had to switch. The rooms were very comparable, but was just a bit strange and inconvenient.

Fast check in, very good service, complimentary buffet breakfast was excellent… chefs went out of their way to personally please the guests, staff were polite, nice pool… kids enjoyed it… gym was well equipped… friendly staff at the pool… rooms were okay, views were good… good stay.

Good ambience and all that jazz, but dont know why almost the entire hotel stinks!? Smells exactly like the subway stations on Singapore. Not sure if its the room freshener or what! Food is below average too! Have been here few times, but most likely wont again.

The room is absolutely beautiful and their service is really nice. I have only tried their saffron restaurant (Indian cuisine) the food is quite good. The staff there is very helpful, I wasn't feeling well and they offered to make anything even off the menu. I loved their buffet breakfast too.

A good event space. A little difficult to find the entrance. Breathtaking image from outside during night time. Food quality slightly above average. Best suited for team events.

Been there for a corporate meeting and the experience was great. I like the way theyve set up their interior lighting and decorations. Afternoon lunch was too good, lot of varieties. The only thing that needs to be improved is the coffee, as I found it to be tasty g somewhat different but otherwise a worthwhile place.

The sound system was awesome. Parking nice. Service providers we gentle. Hall was okay okay… Decorations were good. Overall very nice.

Visited a year ago. Superb place… Especially the welcome you get is very nice. All the female staff are in traditional attire… Staff people interact very politely to all your queries. Rooms are very neat & tidy…

I stayed here on a business trip to Bangalore, and had a great stay. This 5-star hotel is quite classy and glamorous. The staff were very accomodating, and my room was very comfortable. There are several restaurants in the hotel, which all had great food, but the staff seemed a bit green and in need of some extra training. In all, I enjoyed my stay here.

High-end hotel with a good Indian restaurant on the rooftop with a view of the city. Better visit it during the day/early evening since the view is lost at night. Food was average, compared to the cost one shells out here. Service is polite but slow.

Shangri-la lobby and Christmas is just brilliant here. The decorations and the huge Christmas tree. I was here for high tea, which was great too and worth its price. Food and tea both tastefully made and presented.

Very nice hotel with large rooms, very good selection in the spa area, however, caution is offered with the tuktuks in front of the hotel if you do not do what they want then you are very fast alone somewhere in Bangalore.

One of the best hotels I've been to in a while. Spectacular views of the city from their higher floor rooms. The Hotel has the largest meeting venue in the city and some of the best F&B offerings in Bangalore.

Had a awsome time last night. It was our wedding anniversary so we had been for dinner. Food n starter was really hot n tasty. Service was very quick. We had been to 18th floor the view was fantastic. As a complimentary they provided us a wine n dessert which was a nice gesture.

Shang Palace is just pure food awesomeness. The others are good too. On the expensive side of food, if it is value for money you want, you're in the wrong place. Ambience and decor was good, the food, again depends on which restaurant you're going to, but you might be a bit disappointed.

Try Shang Palace in their hotel for exquisite Oriental food. Amazing service. If you sign up for their membership, they'll give you 20% of on the food bill… So don't forget.

The hotel is beautiful. There's a spa and a lot of restaurants. I've tried the Japanese one. Everything is really expensive but if you like to pamper yourself and eat food that is not common in India, here you can find everything.

We went to this Hotel for our year end party arranged by my office. We were a good 500+ crowd and almost everyone found something good to say about the place, which is a big deal! Our party was held in one of the main conference halls and by golly, what a luxurious hall it was! Beautiful crystal chandeliers, rich plush carpets, great sound, light and stage arrangements. The servers got us great starters and catered to everyone well. The food was limited, but delicious. The desserts were great as well. The exterior and interior of the buildings are gorgeous and really give you the feel of being on world class property.

Inaugurated by Sri Ravi Shankar, this is the biggest 5 star hotel in Bengaluru. Rooms and Banquet halls are generally available and are priced competitively to other hotels like ITC Gardenia or JW Marriott. Trivia: No wall or ceiling of the entire hotel is painted.

Airport transfer — Old car, AC will only turn on when you get into the hot and boiling car. No water given on arrival, casually clad driver, using his mobile phone and playing some music on radio. Room — had water leaking from AC vent, though the rooms were clean, windows needed cleaning Service — Room attendant had to take our passports and credit card for the full 2 hours and return after doing whatever she needed to do. Was promised rocky road and lollies but got only lollies in spite of asking for it 3 times! Food is good, good selection Entertainment — no iPhone charging docks, radio, alarm or bible. Fruit platter on arrival is a joke (same with Singapore Shangri La) — with one small fruit (3 fruits! ) Flowers was a good idea beds were good, in room facilities, gym, pool (needed temperature control) were excellent. Some staff were excellent, but most needed training. Internet — forget it if you have more than 3 devices! I had to call the IT person (on a holiday! ) to fix additional users. In conclusion — I would book next time into Taj West End. Hope this helps.
