The property is great. Situated off the main road, hence is very peaceful. The banquet hall is spacious and big. Food Is great with wide variety to choose from. The staff are really helpful and do make an effort to make the customer feel at home.

Situated in a calm residential area. Quality of food and service is very good. They have a clean swimming pool. Food options can get slightly more innovative with more interesting dishes so they can have some trademark food items. I would give a 4.5 on the whole!

Decent property, had only to the restaurant and the filter coffee was good enough to get freshen up. Had a official meeting and the ambience is decent enough to have business discussion. Over all I liked it.

Good hotel. We had arranged multiple team events here. Few of our foreign guests also stayed here. Food quality, Service and arrangements were all planned and executed well. Few of our clients and onshore guests liked the overall ambiance, specially near pool area.

Nice place in Koramangala. Good Multi — cuisine restaurant. Tucked neatly in a quite area, close to the the main road connecting to rest of the city.

Gotam and the other server are really very warm and very nice, super pool and Super buffet your good for Sundays or Saturdays, afternoon.

Great hotel. Prices are comparable to US. Rooms are well appointed and staff is superb. Can't wait to stay there again. The breakfast buffet is unbelievably delicious. Coffee could be stronger, especially when dealing with jet lag. I'd stay away from reservations through third party booking sites. Better to call the hotel directly and ask for a deal with meals included.

Did not stay here. Was there for couple of days attending a conference. Located in a quaint nook of bustling Koramangala. Helpful staff. Facilities in line with what one would expect in a property of this kind. The buffet is decent with enough options for vegetarians. A star less as the place seemed to suffer from a mosquito problem. Would definitely recommend to business travelers.

Nice food, great place, amazing service, went on my husband's birthday and the person who served us, Vishnu was polite and regularly checking if we need anything. We went for by the blue restaurant always which has an amazing pool side view. Lovely ambience. Overall an amazing restaurant.

Did not expect a 5 star hotel to be around the corner in a completely residential area. The rooms are expensive. So is the food. Having said that the quality is very good. The room service and the people were extremely polite. There is room to improve in terms of value for pricing. I would definitely recommend this if… pricing is not q primary concern as everything else is top.

I have used only the restaurant. Buffet always has decent spread to cater to varied tastes. I enjoyed the food, ambience, and the courtesy of the staff. I have not used Rooms, Bar, or any other facility, hence no comments on those aspects.

I can't say enough about what an absolute gem of a hotel this is. The Grand Mercure is a bit off the beaten path in the Koramangala section of Bangalore, but it's well worth the small extra bit of travel to get to and from there. The hotel is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood, with low traffic and clean air. There's an immaculately maintained and completely safe park right across the street, where you can walk laps or just sit and enjoy. The hotel itself is spotlessly maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. I've stayed in both the studio and one-bedroom suite rooms for extended periods, and found both of them wonderful. I always felt very well taken care of by the staff, who frequently follow up to see how I'm doing. There are two restaurants in the hotel. The main restaurant serves three meals a day, including the free breakfast that comes with most stays. The restaurant staff are awesome, and give me space just to be alone when I need it, while making sure I'm well take care of. The other restaurant is by the pool — it's a beautiful, isolated area which has a great brunch on Sunday. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It's truly my home away from home in Bangalore, and I hope to return whenever I am in the city.

Chic Modern and contemporary hotel has an upmarket ambience and centrally located near the business hub of kormangla. Attended a wedding here at By the blue poolside venue. Catering staff and administration were professional and helpful. Poolside area is artistically land scapped and well maintained. Crowd management is efficient. Food was good and of variety. Quality and quantity was satisfactory. Typical wedding ambience added to the atmosphere with music. Ample parking space. All in all a great and memorable experience!

This is amazing hotel on the heart of the city. It has an amazing pool side restaurant. They have a upper deck that can bee booked for gathering, parties, and get to gether. It is an amazing setting by the pool. Also they have a restaurant by the pool. Good food and multiple options. Nice service.

Suite was smaller this time but comfortable. If you are going to stay there again, recommend making a membership. They give welcome drink and accumulate your stay rewards. These can generally be used to upgrade and things like that. Like to attentive staff and complimentary breakfast and transfers. Would come back here if I were to visit Bengaluru. Nice peaceful location.

Locality is good. While within a residential area, nearby shopping malls and other entertainment facilities are within 2-4 km. The one bedroom suite is more than enough for a person. Services are acceptable. Housekeeping could be better. The suite didn't give a thorough daily cleaning vibe. There was a bathroom fly masquerading in the place. The food is fine. But nearby restaurants like Tandoor hut offer some great selections. Breakfast is good though. I stayed for a fortnight. Review after 5 days.

I am a Accor Plus member and visited this hotel for lunch. Hotel is located in residential area of Koramangala and it’s a very clam and decent location. Close to forum mall and many locations. Easily accessible. Food is decent however deserts were not great. I had food in by the blue restaurant which is located in the pool side. Some client was hosting birthday party at the same time and hotel was playing loud music which is very irritating for some one who visited to spend time with family during lunch.

Best place to live in Bangalore. Awesome location, awesome staff and awesome food. Plus they have spacious apartments and not just hotel rooms… with balconies!

A nice laidback hotel with a old school brick finished exterior ambience. Hidden away in the heart of the city, it has a great restaurant with a fabulous exterior seating and Victorian style decor.

Right in the heart of Koramangala, this is a quaint hotel with a nice cosy restaurant. Has both indoors and outdoors seating. Food is very good, the buffet spread is excellent. A bit on the expensive side. Imagine having to pay Rs 100 for a bottle of mineral water, when you are already paying about Rs1400 for the buffet.

I had been during independence day, the had a Indian spread of buffet. Hailing from different regions of india. The spread was amazing. It was as authentic as it could get. From chats to desserts. Starters were served on the table. Main course was set aside to help ours self. Hospitality couldn't get better than this. Staff was dressed in ethnic wear. Over all I was satisfied.

Probably the best hotel, I would say. Very modern, loads of space in rooms. Brilliant even for longer stay. And being in kormangla it is kind of epicenter of Bangalore. Very courteous staff and very neat and tidy rooms.

The experience was good, only that sometimes charged things that do not take from the minibar.

A perfect place to stay if you want to stay away from the noisy street /roads. The rooms are really nice. The restaurants are great.

Over all I really enjoyed my stay at GM. Staf is friendly and the food is good. However, I didn't like the fact that when I checked in the on duty manager lied to me about the rooms. I specifically asked about the rooms and their size, since a lot of my friends stay in the hotel. The manager told me that all the rooms are the same, however this is not the case and I was put in the smallest type of room. In my opinion that is not how you should treat guests that stay in your hotel for multiple months.

Food and service is superb, if you have good budget its nice place to spent time.

Great food, great ambience. Having dinner by the lakeside is an amazing feeling. The staff is also very courteous They have a la carte option too. They also have play areas for kids.

I have been there multiple times for business and have been always very well welcome. The hotel is quiet and the rooms are large, with good Wi-Fi. The two restaurants offer a large variety of food. When you add to all this the gym and the pool, you have all you need for a great stay in Bangalore!

Great place for meetings in a quiet locale. They have a nice patio type seating area where you can have small team meetings. Plenty of choices in their cuisine. One of my favorites!

Cozy place in the middle of a Cozy residential area (Koramangala). Some rooms over looks the park while others overlook the residential area. The food was good, though it took 45 mins to get the order served to room, which can be annoying at time. I liked the rooms a lot, they were spacious, contemporary and really practical. There was a small pantry area and also a study area which was really good to catch up work and have a meal. Overall for the price and locality, I liked the hotel and recommend it others.

Great food and ambiance is excellent. Only issue we had that the pool did not had any safety fence so had to worry about the kid jumping in.

Grand mercure This was my second visit to this hotel. My experience has been consistent both times, in that, this is 5 star rated Hotel with 3 star experience. In room dining was the best, followed by location of the hotel. If not for the location I would not return here. What sucks the most, are the so called managers and staff, at the registration. They are rude, condescending and in no way represent what we have experienced at any other 5 star hotels in India. This is far cry from hotels like Taj. The rooms are spacious, well laid out, but not maintained. Shower was broken which was fixed after 24 hrs. Towels were old and not fresh which was the most intimidating part. More frustrating was the toilet seat which fails to accommodate a decent sized person — this was not an issue during my last stay & when I asked them to move me to those rooms, request was not accommodated in timely fashion. Would I recommend? Probably not, unless you are an executive or one of the IT people who are probably staying here because their company chose this for some negotiated price or if you are a foreigner (I could see the clear discrimination by the registration desk staff's behavior; this is the only self proclaimed 5-star hotel where I have seen this). If you are an Indian with family and want some nice 5 star hotel look elsewhere.

1. Got served a tuna panini after detailed discussion on how the burnt vegetable and cheese panini should be 2. No one came to discuss except a poor junior staff. 3. Between 3 pm till midnight, no one found time to service the room or even remove the food tray. 4. Call room service, and first they cannot hear you (God knows how bad the telephones are) and second, they don't know which room you are calling from 5. Tiny tiny televisions even in the suite 6. Can hear the neighbouring room shower noise! 7. Forget guest delight, the reception staff is unresponsive even in the face of a complaint. No apology for anything. The check in guy was busy peddling packages having initially denied that Internet was free, and later mentioning 256 Kbps was free… All in all, unless you must stay at Koramangala, don't stay at this apology of a hotel, and if you do, don't come with expectations.

We'll run oasis in quiet residential neighbourhood near to Forum Mall. On site restaurant, sat around pool area, is excellent. Rooms are enormous and well equipped — more like apartments (including full kitchens) so lengthy stays would be fine here, but I stopped one night. Have returned and will stay here again when in Bangalore.

It's excellent Hotel, Very clean and spacious rooms, Pool is cool. And Restaurent ambiance is good and food is so good. Area is very peaceful. Over its excellent. I recommend business and family stay.

We had been to Mercure last Friday for dinner. We had it at the Mediterrnean restaurant. While the ambience is good the food preparations were just okay. The salads were salty, the starters were not tender and juicy and the pasta was a little uncooked. The kids play area was good. That kept the kids busy. But all in all it was a disappointment.

I have stayed at many hotels and the Grand Mercure in Bangalore tops them. Their service and attention to detail is superb, the staff extremely courteous and willing to do anything asked of them. I have stayed many times and make it my preferred choice of accommodation in Bangalore. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

I love this hotel! It makes a great getaway within the bustling Koramangala. I like the pool side resto-bar in particular.

We went to the 12th Main (Mediterranean restaurant) and tried the Saturday Buffet. The ambience is excellent both indoors and outdoors. There was a lot of variety (European breads, north indian curries, mediterranean dishes, pasta, tacos and very good desserts) and the quality was very good. The service was also very good, and they seem to have found the right balance of not being too intrusive but being available when needed. The buffet comes to around 1300 for two people.
