They have a life gaurd at sea beach as well.
Good rooms with good fecilities.
Good service.
Their Vatika Restaurant serves good food.
They have Garden area, swimming pool, Spa and a parlour.
Staff is well groomed.
We had a great stay.

We booked 5 rooms for three days. The rooms were good but we had to ask for the TV remote, AC remote Mini Fridge etc… and then they provided it to us. After Fani (the disastrous storm) they bounced back well. Hopefully they will soon overcome these short comings. The complimentary breakfast was good. We used to order only our dinners from the Hotel's Restaurant named Vatika (Veg restaurant), they used to serve it in our respective rooms in proper time but the taste could have been better. The restaurant prepares non-veg dishes also but you have to have it in your room as the restaurant is veg (I respect that policy). The swimming pool was well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience. There were only three major setbacks :
1. Food can be better.
2. Check out time : 7:00 A. M. Is a very absurd time.
3. The AC &TV remotes should be present in the room before our arrival.

We had a booking for puri they had taken amount for sea view hotel including breakfast but they had given non sea view without breakfast and forfit the total amount of Rs 18k. Now they want us to book another room of same amount. Is it some kind of joke or what? Please don't go for this hotel.

Amazing experience. Super Room quality. Sea view from room was awsam… but the quality of food is not so good… otherwise super hotel.

Its grt hotel. All facility goods. Gate frunt side beach best for family. There is also swimming pool facility but 100₹ chargeable per swimming COSTUMES.

It's at the end side of the beach. Good for tourist who just want to rest and don't want to see other things. Rest sites are quite far from here. Food was just okay and services were fair.

Hotel is awesome stuffs are very cooperative, Beach is just 50 miters away from hotel gate. Rooms are clean, hygienic. Sea view rooms are very delightful.

We had good stay at the hotel. The placement of this is great. The foodings are good but very high charge. The bathroom needs to be renovated as these are deteriorated and not cleaned.

Stayed for 4 days. It was a pleasant stay. Staff are good, location is awesome… Restaurant is veg but they serve non-veg in hotel room. Small pool is there which is also very good for kids and adults.

A single word to describe this shameless hotel i. E. Basta#$#@. I am having a very horrific experiences of staying this hotel. If you are visiting puri along with family and kids, stay at this useless hotel at your risk. Don''t go with the lowest pricing, they fool you through various mean to retrieve the money. As in my case they charged me saying that the turmeric stain on the bed sheet, towels and covers are non washable. They charged me the whopping Rs 2500/ — for this. I r…etaliated but they were rude and misbehaved a lot. Since I was in hurry to catch in the train at 05:45 in the morning along with family and kids, I didn't argue much. I paid the amount for scrap bed sheet, hand towels and covers. I am surely going to pull these bast#$# to the court and plan to send a legal notice as the turmeric stain on the bed sheet, towels and covers are removed by laundry men at my place. Since they know it very well that outstation travelers hardly going to visit them again, they are indulge in such type of cheap activities. Had I not been having credit card with me, I would have been in great problem? They are shameless and don't have any human value. I am unable to post the review without star rating, otherwise they don't deserve it.

It is a very nice hotel. The rooms are nice. Hot and cold water is available. Hotel offers a good range of vegetarian items, however non veg range is very limited. Breakfast is also good. Also you can walk right onto the beach from the hotel. Overall enjoyed the stay. Thanks! :)

If you want a calm and peaceful location, this hotel is the best. Very good interior, and ambiance. Staffs are very cooperative. Service is very good and quick. Food is also tasty. Bit far from the main beach and town.

It's a nice place. Sea facing property. Food quality is excellent. Good homely atmosphere.

Staff is not good at all and specially the rooms are very dirty but one star for swimming pool and it's location.

Hotel is excellent. Staff behavior is very good. Hotel food is costly. However if you are looking for a place with cheaper food and near market area this is a concern. Hotel is situated at a secluded place. Very far from main area.

Located far from the Swargadwar. Hotel Staffs are not cordial. Non Veg people should avoid the place, their restaurant offers only veg food. Non Veg Food even bought from outside not allowed inside restaurant. Food is overpriced, charged 3 bread toasts for whopping ₹126 (even the food was cold and too hard to bite the toast). There is no balcony in any room, so you have to go the terrace to dry your clothes after seabath. The beach near the hotel is Pristine and quite beautiful but becomes a no man's land after 6pm.

Nothing extraordinary about the place. Located almost towards the end of the sea beach road. Staff is courteous but not efficient.

Nice place … veg food but the best veg food I have ever had… nice rooms tooo… a little away from swargadwar but u will not mind staying here.

Long hours of check in and check out… guests, bring your own bathing soap… they only provide 12grams tiny soap, you cant even hold and wash hands. Reception is with smily girls and bitter faced boys… Rest room near reception is dirty… over all so so.

Hotal is good but food is too costly and yeast less. If u order paneer butter masala they get 5 pices of paneer. Staff are too gental and good behavior. Room service is good and they clean room every day. Room rate is heigh. If you get under 2500 is better.

One of the best hotel at marine drive road of Puri. The beach seems to be private as it is very little crowded. Food is just awsome.

It is a great experience with balaji hotel. We enjoy the homely atmosphere there. It was the best trip for me. Specially the housekeeping staff is very copretive. They providing the best service. The rooms are good and well cleaned. Thank u to housekeeping staff for take care me and my family.

Minus points for this hotel. Pathetic service. No cleanliness. Uncleaned linen and bathrooms. Lift is never working. Neither they tried to get it repaired for customer delight. They do not clean rooms even when you put the tag outside to clean it. Staff is untrained and very impolite. We reched hotel by 11:15 pm and the hotel gates were locked. No gaurd was available there. He saw us from far but didn't come. We had to call manager. Even after manager asked him to open, he came like walking in the garden and instructed us in a rude way not to come after 11:00pm from tomorrow. When we asked us is he supposed to tel us the timings, he got angry and went to manager to compaint about us at reception. They have not mentioned anywhere the timings to reach hotel. And is there any hotel which asks the tourists to be inside by 11:00 NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Horrible experience.

I rated this a 3 when I checked in. The elevator doesnt work here, linen was not changed in the room and bathroom was not clean! I had to further reduce it to 2 when I brought Prasad from puri temple and requested for plates, they said I have not ordered anything so giving plates wont be possible. I am having breakfast n dinner both in their restaurant. Reduced it to 1 eventually in last day n reason is epic. Fortunately this hotel has got a great location. You cross the road and you are at bay shore. So after a leisurely dinner we went out for a walk. Came back around 11:10. No security guard was at gate. One guard was at other gate. I kept shouting n whistling no one came. I called hotel number, no one picked up. Two other guests happened to come out for smoke and I asked for help. They asked reception guy who in turn called the guards. The guard took his sweet time to walk few yards while talking on phone. He opened the gate and oh my boy that 18-20 year old guy scolded me for coming late:p I asked him if he is supposed to do that? He was angry at me and went to reception to complained about me. Pathetic.

Good location but they need to work on cleanliness. They just dont know how to clean vertical surfaces and that includes the wall beside the commode yuks… the elevator was not working and we were just offered a ground floor room when we complained for it.

Lift is still out o order Signing to different registers at use of each facility is irritating If u want to go tample Befor 8 am then u have to be dependent on that milkspry made tea or coffee @ room. Room cleaning not possible Befor 11 am. House keeping poor because of shortage of staff. H k head dont knows about room freshner spray he came with a lyzol type liquid and mop to clean the flor. Now non veg is available It is a Very good mismanaged property.

Its ok. Debit card… credit card payment system was not working… but they have arranged from one if their groups of hotel puspa. House Keeping is below standards… Swimming Pool is Good. Spa is also Ok. But in house restaurant… I can say most of the food which appears in menu was not available specially south indian and tandoor iteams. But its in front of virgin beach so we enjoyed a lot.

Location is excellent. Just on beach. Little away from crowded swargadwar. Property is nice but horrible maintenance. Practically there is no maintenance staff. We stayed for 4 days not a single day the rooms were cleaned. Rooms were stinking. The lobby is even not cleaned. Over all very dirty. Only veg food available. Linen are not cleaned.

The cons: No parking space, parking outside the hotel on the road Wi-Fi is available only in the lobby, useless if not provided in the rooms Hotel is at the end of Puri town, quite far of from all activities Pathetic breakfast, cold idlis, soggy puris, a bread toaster which takes ages to heat up Restaurant is in a dingy basement, with poor lighting & lack of air The hotel is not yet fully ready, with construction work still going on No architect was involved I guess, bad planning of the rooms structure Bathrooms have exposed pipes running around.

Nice to stay here. Staffs are good, location is nice … away from hustle & bustle of locality but in house restaurant is costly… pool is nice. Over all love to stay here.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to a function I was attending along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in.

My second visit. Restaurant is vegetarian but it suits us. However the room service still needs improvement. Lift is usually out of order, so be careful if you are taking elderly people. Wheelchair needs to be provided at the hotel Good points are that it is bang on the beach. The life guard is a sweet helpful person The staff is courteous. For the price it charges, it's worth a try.

Over all its a good place to be with family or friends in Puri. Very neat clean and well maintained. Room service is very responsive. Swimming pool is well maintained but it should be open till 8pm not 6pm because other hotels keep it open till 8pm. Checkout time should be kept 8am or 9am at least. They do have cash and cashless payment options which is a plus. The rooms are pretty good. Over all a great experience all together.

Loved the place. Complete peace of mind. Away from crowd, it is a perfect place for relaxation.

Everything was perfect but one small objection, the Wi-Fi signal wasn't reachable at our room which was in 2nd floor. Other than that excellent view and nice maintenance.

Located at the end of marine beach, but seemed overpriced in respect to facilities and conditions. Bathroom is very normal and they offer only veg in restaurant.

Hotel is good, location is so excellent, Rooms are good, food also good. Specially sweeming pool and spa, but only auto charges 80 every time up down from market.

Hotel is good. Food is good. But the location is towards the end of the 5-to-6 km long beach road. While the most happening parts of the beach road are 3 to 4 km away. If you love to be secluded and away from the buss, it is a nice place.
