View from the hotel is awesome. Staff is really very co-operative. Located 3km away from City center. Cabs and other public transportation are easily accessible from here. Must stay over here.

Overall experience was average. Location, food (Punjabi dishes) and rooms are good. TV had no signal most of the time. There was drilling noise in the afternoon which was quite disturbing. Few cockroaches observed in the bathroom. Toothpaste / dental kit was not provided. Corridors had smoky smell all the time.

We booked 6 rooms for 4 nights, from 21st July to 25 morning. They did not inform us that the hotel was under renovation on the same floor while booking. We had gone for a family outing. The continuous noise of hammering and drill machine in the opposite rooms was a big hindrance to our peace. It was dusty. The dust and fresh varnish fume affected all of us with sore throat. Our 3 elderly occupants couldn't rest during the day time. The swimming pool had too much chlorine… which gave us red eye and burning sensation for a long period. We booked it through Make My Trip. We lodged a complaint with them. Hope they will look into the matter. We are not satisfied with the service of the management. We couldn't enjoy in this renovating hotel. i do not recommend this hotel.

Nice place to stay, lake view rooms also available. Heritage property. Rooms are cheaper than Other 5 star hotels. It's far better than The Lalit. Food is also good. Dining is available in lawn as well as on the roof top. Crowd is also decent and hotel staff is excellent.

The cocktails are reasonable. The chicken items are nothing short of a disaster. The better rating is attributable to the locale and view. A good place to have a conversation or share comfortable silences.

It's a lovely hotel, view excellent and staff helpful. The place was near fatehsagar lake. You can go for walk around the lake otherwise need transport to get to other places. The hotel was clean and tidy, food was fine and reasonable price as other restaurants in the area.

The place is calm, quiet and clean. Staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast, complimentary,. Is marvelous. The food is very good. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Teal value for money.

Oh this hotel is beautiful. When I got out of the cab, first thing I said was wow I don't think I could afford the hotel. It is out-of this world. So beautiful. The staff go out of their way to help you in every way. The manager was wonderful and very helpful. The food is great you will enjoy every meal. I will definitely be coming back for another visit.

Nice and calm hotel. Lake facing rooms have superb views and big in size. Food is good as well with varieties in breakfast buffet.

The hotel provides splendid view of this town with beautiful topography. Open your balcony in the morning and you will love the gush of fresh air and view of neatly trimmed green lawns. You can also view lake and streets. The room is nice and comfortable. Hotel provides value for money. Food is nice. Breakfast is complementary. Swimming pool is well maintained. There is a small shop which will come handy if you are short of time and need to pick some souvenirs. On the negative side, bathrooms with old, worn out, not so tidy looking fixtures do not go well with the otherwise good rooms. Lighting in the room is such that it's okay for dinner or lazy chit chats. But may not allow you to be comfortable while working on laptop or papers.

Being very unprofessional… Cheating on my money. I consider it as professional and Hospitality … but this Hotel is one of those cheaters who want to earn money only and Do Not take care of their guests This message is for all of you… Please ensure that getting your hard earned money is Not the option given by this Hotel… They will not allow you to cancel your booking even in emergency medical case in your family… In my case… I cancelled the booking within time… but Hotel not ready to accept request and asking me to consider cancel the booking with Zero refund… whatsoever is the case My worst ever experience in Hospitality industry…

One of the more under rated properties. Lovely view, great hospitality, nice food at the restaurant as well. Rooms can be slightly better.

Nice hotel, clean, hygiene. Situated At hill top. Fateh lake view from top. Should try once. They need to work upon there food quality and food is little costly also. Tea costs around 70. Overall I will give 5 star for hotel and 4.5 for food.

A very good hotel with very good view from lake view room. Facilities and room size also balcony is awesome. Restaurant is also very nice. As name suggest it is on hill top with lake view and pictures scenery. Ample parking space with courteous staff. Rates are also very nominal. You can enjoy great time here with garden restaurant and swimming pool.

Nearly great experience. Lovely view, great comfort, superb food, courteous staff. Also, a very nice pool though no swimming allowed at night. Just one tiny problem! Bed bugs! Realized it in the middle of the night and called reception. They told us that a different room would be available on the next day. That night was bad. Luckily we had good movies with us. To be fair, they upgraded us and gave us a even better room with an even better view the next morning. So all was well. Will stay there again on my next trip to Udaipur.

Situated over the top of a hill as it's name suggest. Nice hotel near fateh sagar lake. Very nice view of the city. Have a good restaurant as well.

Very nice place to stay. Good location. Just near to Fateh Sagar Lake. The support staff of hotel is very cooperative. We also had a meal/s at the hotel and liked the preparation.

A good place to stay with family away from the city crowd and days rush. Located on the hill top to provide Great view of lake near the hotel. Didn't give 5 stars as the service provided by the staff needs improvement. At present, the swimming pool is under repair.

It's one of the good hotel in Udaipur. Amazing view from roof top specially at night. In a peaceful location on the hill top. Good amenities like garden, swimming pool, bathtub etc. Room quality might be better. Food is costly.

Very nice place one the side of Udaipur lake. The rooms are very good and of high standards. The staff is well trained and supportive. The hotel offers swimming pool, restaurant, adequate parking and a royal treatment for its guest. One of the best place to stay in Udaipur.

Excellent location of the hotel. Do visit the top floor it has an amazing view. Good quality of food. Hospitality of the staff is good. Only thing swimming pool is not clean and even the quality of water is not good.

We have stayed there from 07.08.15 TO 09.08.15 i asked for supply of drinking water but not provided even after reminding unfortunetilly the intercom also helped in increasing the problem rooms are nice but geycer not working intercom not working room services also very very very poor Wi-Fi not provided.

This hotel has pathetic Wi-Fi. Hardly 120kbps. Swimming pool is not cleaned. Further in many bathroom toilet jet is not installed. Food is very expensive.

Location is superb but service in restsurant is poor. In the morning at breakfast, waiters were rude. Room service was good.

I have not booked this Hotel, not resided in this Hotel even for a single night. Initially I liked it very much but when I went in, their treatment with me as a guest was very poor. I am a resident of Udaipur only and wanted to book this hotel for a single night because it was my wedding night. When I told them that its my wedding night, they told me very strictly that "we won't allow any kind of decorations, no flowers nothing. " I was like shocked, the way they were treating me as if I am not a guest, I am a waiter or some other small hotel staff and I'll have to follow strict code of conduct if I wanna be their in there Hotel. I wanted to do something special for my wife, I requested the manager just to provide with some small compliments like a small cake or some chocolates or anything, the reply was "we don't have any such kind of policies or systems or culture here, we don't encourage all such things. There are crying over cultures policies and systems, somebody should teach them how to manage their guests. " Not only his saying, but the way and behavior was also very rude and very frustrating. I never expected such kind of behavior from the Manager. On top of all, the manager says, "sir, I have an experience of 26 years and I have worked in hotels of Taj Group like The Lake Palace, The Rambagh Palace, The Taj Mumbai etc. " I will never recommend this hotel even for outside customers.

Good location. Lake side rooms are more preferable. Complimentary breakfast quality is ok. You will get some odour in room as you enter, don't know what was that. View from terrace is excellent. Do not miss that.
